In the end, I decided to leave the Old Continent as it was.
Indeed, it would reduce the amount of available qi and magic power to the rest of the world.
However, that wasn’t a bad thing.
First, because this is the Second Era. The Era of Dimming Magic.
The rational beings of Tiphoon had been gathering Magic Power freely from its surface for a billion years.
Now it would start to become rare.
To find Magic Power, one would need to dig deeply, find a tall mountain, or a Qi Vein.
Otherwise, Magic would be too scarce for them to use it freely.
The levels of Magic in Tiphoon may still be absurdly high, allowing for things like dragons and elementals to be born.
But no more will the races be able to use it for all of their daily necessities.

Since Tiphoon has nearly exhausted its stored magic power.
For the billions of years it had been slumbering before I came here, Tiphoon had been storing magic power.
All its being was full of it. From deep within the nucleus to the surface.
Of course, in the last billion years It had been squeezing every last drop to the surface, grooming the Seeds as much as it could.
Now, after the World Tree died and the races had taken so much with them to alternate realities and such, all that abundance was doomed to end.
In such a decaying magic atmosphere, it was obvious that such a huge, magic-filled land as the Old Continent would become a treasure seek by many.
This was perfect.
As the Era progressed, no more Magic Power would be gathered directly from Tiphoon. No more than a million years will go on until the only sources of Magic Power will be the Qi Veins.
And even after that, in a hundred million years or so, the only available source of Magic will be the immature souls of those who doesn’t have a full-grown Seed.
At that time, every single centimeter of this magic-filled land will be worth a thousand times its price in gold.
My mission, of course, is to guarantee two things; First, that Tiphoon will be capable of nourishing life for another two hundred million years or so; Second, that it will also have plenty of challenges to make the current Mortals interested in evolving and adapting by themselves.
Until the day comes, when they give up what they already have so they can mature further. Then… then the Third Differentiation shall come to be.
