Even earth, many times older than Tiphoon, didn’t had a perfect spherical shape - and therefore didn’t distributed all its energy equally around its surface, forming veins of energy all around itself.
And earth’s veins where much less chaotic than Tiphoon’s !
So, I carved Tiphoon’s planetary body with energy veins, artificially maintained by an immense planetary array. Those veins would convert the chaotically scattered Qi to this place.
With time, if left alone, this enormous amount of Qi would change Tiphoon’s body, making the middle of this continent, where I have directed all of this energy to, into a huge and extremely deep lake of lava, continuously spurring volcanic fumes.
Energy, after all, is yang in its nature while measured against mater, and it would make this whole place an enormous and fuming desert!
But I would not allow for that. So, I reunited a great number of dead creatures at the junction of all energy, and forced the earth to rise all around the continent, by borrowing Tiphoon’s power to change the continent’s tectonic plate.
The whole continent became a huge basin, even if with just a slight inclination, so not to disturb too much the life which grew alongside it, gathering not only water from the mountains, but also all the nutritious, and extremely yin, dead mater which came from dead plants, animals, people, and all sorts of residues and minerals.
The whole of the planet’s Qi, of course, couldn’t be contained by this single continent’s mater, so I obviously didn’t channel all of it here. Specially since It would freeze an enormous area of the planet, as it’s heat energy, which comes from the Qi which is produced by this planet’s sun, would be all focused here.

So, I also redirected much of the planet’s Qi all around it, specially it’s hottest and most Yang-Fire oriented Qi, the Emperor Qi.
Still, a huge amount of it was directed here, and it perfectly balanced the continental basin, giving birth to waves after waves of pure white clouds which would spread all around the center of the continent, bringing blessed rain, as well as myriad ethereal fumes, to all of it.
Since the borders of the continent also have a good balance of sea currents, with both hot and cold currents circulating around it, there shall be no lack of rain, and not too much of it, even if this is to be kept for millions of years!
As long as the mountains in the border of the continent remain strong, it shall never run dry of nutrients for plants.
One day, of course, they will cease to be - like all things. But by them, many eras will have passed, and time will come for me to rework the whole of Tiphoon’s body again.
At the center of all, amongst the huge lake of Yin and Yang in perfect harmony, with the death energy burrowing the Qi of the world deep, the tree’s roots grew strong, and it’s leaves first touched the sky only a few months after being born.
If one is to look for the total depth of its roots, one would need to leave Tiphoon’s crust and reach its mantle. For only when the flow of water and nutrients from the tree reach a very deep spot inside of Tiphoon’s extremely hot mantle, would the amount of pure pressure from the hot steam stop the flow of the powerful yin from the huge lake above, and the trees’ roots would meet its ends at the point where it became too hot for it to spread to - even while being feed with the yang water energy.
As long and thick are a tree’s roots, is as long and thick can it grow its trunk and branches.
The 500km long roots allowed for the top of the tree to reach the sky, surpassing most of the atmosphere and almost reaching space.
Where not this a world rich in energy, so rich in fact magic was possible, the tree, even with the most powerful nutrition and all of the planet’s qi condensed around itself, would not be able to survive such high and low temperatures, pressure and so on.
This tree, therefore, was denominated by me the “World Tree”.
And all of the great races of the world shall originate from either the depths of its roots or the heights of its branches.
