Chapter 38: Horse (2)

Chapter 38: Horse (2)

Horse, a dark mage who is one of the executives of the worst demonic group on the face of the Earth known as the Writer.

This group of egotistical psychopaths believed themselves to be the superior race, the chosen one, and the ones who have the rights over everything because of the demon they are worshipping.

Of all the members, this one I have a score to settle with but didn’t have the chance because the bastard killed himself to summon that demon.

Because of him, she lost herself that day, and from here on, the cheerful smile of my sister is now replaced by the soulless eyes of her even at the moment of her death, and all of that is because of you wretched.

Horse, I may not have been the one to kill you in the previous life, but I'm sure going to butcher you this time.

Unlike the raging emotion inside Kang right now, his aura remains calm and composed but at the same time shines a silver, deadly light, identical to the blade on his hand right now.

Numerous attacks land on Horse, causing blood to flow out like a fountain; if a normal person received this, they would die of blood loss.

Sadly, these bastards have already given their souls to the demon, turning them into demons themselves so I can give them death in a normal way.

The blood begins to retract back into Horse's body, restoring him to normal except for clothes. The horse mask split apart but was quickly sewn back by Mana, but Kang could get a glimpse of the crazed demonic eye behind that mask.

“You dare to kill my friend SHEEPPPPPPPPPP.”

…I must be cautious; this one is the psychopath among the psychopaths, and above all, he is one of the most skilled executives in that cultist group.

He can transfer his emotion or memory to another. By selling his soul to the demon, he has gained a certain mastery of this ability to the point where he could slowly corrupt the minds of everyone surrounding him and more.

I have managed to fend off his mind hex by using CurseRust, but his ability is still a pain because his mastery over his ability makes it so that it doesn’t stop at living beings.

“Memory Of The Holy”

From his hand, a huge red mana wave released that covered everything in an instant except for Kang, who immediately jumped and clanged himself to the wall.

The infrastructure that has been coated by mana begins to shake violently, and then they become alive; the table and chair break apart and fuse into a dark wooden axe that flies toward Horse’s hand.

The tree grew exponentially before binding itself with the firewood. Instead of burning the root, the fire spread across the plant's body. From it creates a squid-like monster with the pot as its head that is covered in flame.

Laughing sinisterly as his body began to grow as well. Becoming a being similar to an orc wearing a black robe with a horse head that is no longer a mask but a live head with saliva drooling out.

“I don’t know how you are able to escape my ability, but now I will make you—“

Before finishing his word, he swung his axe to block the attack from Kang's silver sword; from there, a crack appeared on the delicate sword.

Don’t let Kang catch a single breath; Horse swung his axe fiercely with a loud bang in every strike at Kang, like a savaged horse stomping on its victim.

He keeps on striking and striking and striking before finding himself tired; with every one of his strikes, Kang moves his sword in a swift movement right at the center of the axe’s blade to stop it without getting knocked back.

Why my attack didn't work on him? My strength is clearly on another level compared to his, so why?

Horse in the end is a mage, and Kang isn’t just an ordinary knight. He was a hero who had fought a desperate battle to save the world. Someone who mastered every known sword art and a monster who gained absolute control of his mana. A monster who lives in a doomed distant future that has regressed.

When Horse snapped out of the frenzy, Kang thrust his blade at the neck of the monster and tried to chop it off.

“HAHAHA”

Realize something: Kang tried to pull the blade, but to no avail, as Horse tensed up his neck and slammed his body to the ground, but Kang managed to jump before that.

WHOOSH

The fire squid breathed out crimson flame directly at Kang while he was still in the air. With nothing to block, the fire engulfed Kang.

“HAHAHA, SERVE YOU—“

But at the next moment, an event similar to what happened before, a voice can be heard behind him.

“Shut up and get it over with.”

“W-“

Kang appears with a mana blade in his hand, and then a huge slash appears on Horse’s shoulder as he barely dodges the attack.

Despite the gruesome attack he has received, he keeps on laughing.

From where Kang is standing, the carpet shoots out multiple strings that shape itself into hands that wrap around Kang in an instant. He tries to slash it, but the hand begins to absorb his mana, including his mana blade.

Now immobilized, Kang looks at the giant dark axe that is falling on him with extreme speed while hearing laughter similar to a monster.

Looking at the axe that could cleave his head right at his nose, cold wind emitted out of Kang as he chanted a line.

“Imaginary Art: Yin Blade”

WHOOSH

Icy cold wind escaped from Kang's body, and like a typhoon, it freezes everything in the bunker, including the fire squid, the carpet, and even Horse, who tries to protect himself in the last moment.

Standing at the center of the storm is Kang SilverLight, who was frozen up a little. Now, in his slightly frozen hand is a blue energy blade with that shimmering light similar to the moon.
