Chapter 29: Blessed

Chapter 29: Blessed

I never want to use this cursed ability anymore, but that fucking demon forced me to. Do I have a choice?

And not only for one month. The damn bastard kidnapped me and beat me left and right. If not for the kind uncle, I would have died quickly.

"Oh, and if I catch you slacking in battle, I will kill you.”

Facing his murderous aura, fear ingrained in my body and even overwhelmed my trauma from using the ability.

BANG

My fist collided with Derious's abdomen, causing him to get knocked far away to the ground. This action surprised everyone, but this just made me grimace.

"This feels wrong.”

Following a punch is a stomp right at the head to end the game, but before he can approach Derious, the shadow beneath Derious suddenly moves toward me and explodes, sending multiple blasts toward him, restricting his movement and giving Derious enough time to regain his sense.

The most confused one here is Derious; that blow was heavy; how can a mere D-rank deal this much damage? The force is equivalent to a bull charge.

“YOU BASTAR-URGH”

Trying to stand up, his eyes widen when a fist appears right in front of his face.

CRACK

Shin rotates his hips and swings another heavy blow to Derious, but this time he catches it with both hands while remaining balanced. A cracking sound can be heard all around the classroom. He looks at Shin with a bloody nose and hatred.

“Burn”

SIZZLE

Shin’s skin sizzled as burn marks appeared and spread from Derious’s grip, reaching all the way to his face and eyelids.

“ARGH”

This caused him to stagger back, grabbing his injured face while Derious stopped the blood flowing out of his nose and stood back up weakly. Derious looks at his opponent and then looks at the Supreme, who is watching without a speck of emotions. Did he plan for us to fight to the dead?

“Just lie down; you are no match for me.”

“You know, you are right; I win or lose doesn’t matter much.”

Shin slowly opens up his eyes, looking at Derious with anger in his eyes.

“But seeing bastards like you or her who are blessed, I can’t help but feel anger.”

Remembering back to that day, when he looks at his crying mother, cursing at him. It has been five years, and yet he can still hear the curse from her mouth. If only I could control this better, tragedy wouldn't happen. I am strong and yet powerless; I want to be like them too, to be able to wield such ability for rightness.

“Unlike me, a weakling who can’t do things right, I envy you all so much that I can’t hold myself to crushing you.”

Green particles float in the air, and the aura he emits is getting denser every time he speaks.

“And besides, a demon will kill me if I don’t give it my all.”

“You done? Well then, let's see who emerges victorious.”

Raising his finger, he curled up his hand before pointing one finger at Shin.

“DAMAGE LINK

From his fingertip comes a black lightning that is impossible to dodge. This strikes through Shin's head and creates an invisible link between Derious and Shin.

“Game over, you peasant; now it’s time to submit.”

Derious murmured another spell, causing the shadow to stir and shoot down a sharp energy to his leg. He severed it, then applied energy to it, healing it.

“WHAT”

“He can use mana heal?”

"Is this going too far?”

Mana heal is an advanced form of using mana, and using it with dark mana is even more advanced. He used to need an artifact, but after one month of dedication, he has finally mastered such a technique, making his ability much more deadly than other special ranks.

“URGH”

Shin, with his knee crushed, fell to the floor while Derious stood before Shin and smeared at him.

“Looking at you, filthy, you should just lie there.”

“I- can’t”

Green energy burst out of Shin’s eyes, his veins popping up as he gritted his teeth. Gathering energy, he utters one word.

“Fall”

… Derious just looks at Shin and decides to end the match. Raising his fist, he tries to strike at the kneeling Shin.

But then he felt heavy all over his body. The wooden floor along with the entire classroom begins to tremble a bit. Derious, who is all confused, got slammed into the ground by an invisible, green-hue energy like he was hit by a massive avalanche.

“W-WHAT THE”

“Is that-“

“Gravity manipulation,” Kang said in awe, since when did the school have someone with such ability?

CRACK CRACK

The intense gravity is weighing Derious down, splitting the wooden floor. Blood began to drip out his nose, and pain assaulted his entire body like never before. He felt like if this kept going, he would be squished to death.

“S-stop,s-stop it”

“Urgh”

but Shin also received the same damage. And yet, he is still standing and looking down at Derious.

This is the battle of will and brutality. But this caused panic among the students.

“Wait, this is getting out of hand.”

“Someone should stop this.”

“But the Supreme is here; there’s n-“

"Professor, please stop.”

“????”

The entire class gasped as they looked at the brave person who dared to order a Supreme. Bhoscvet, looking at Kang Silverlight. His face then twisted from immense anger.

“WHAT DID-“

“I will tell the principal if you don’t stop right now, Professor Dominio.”

Silent engulfed the air, and even Shin and Derious, who were fighting like their lives on the line, stopped. Bhoscvet looks at Kang, then turns his head to take a look around the classroom. He laughed

"Pft"

He then raised his hand and ripped the skin on his face, revealing another younger face with blond hair, heavy makeup, and a big smile etched on his face.

"HAHAHAHAHA, how did you know?”
