After taking the contract from the judge, I start reading the clauses in the contract. Starting off with Party A, the Guild and Party B, which is me. The first clause is about the payment which will be given in USD, per resources I trade through the Guild but they will take ten percent of the final amount which it is traded for, in simple words if a hide of a monster is traded through the guild for an amount of 15000 dollars, the guild will keep ten percent of it which is 1500 dollars and the rest of the ninety percent will be given to me. Although the prices might not be accurate as I have not yet traded anything, it is more of a rough estimate. After reading this clause I take out my phone and search a bit on the internet about the prices of materials if traded through the merchant guilds. The merchant guild takes a cut, of about twenty percent, which is a…..lot if I provide them with high quality materials, they will run me dry after a few months. So there is no need to negotiate on this clause.

The next clause is about Party A providing Party B with housing, with a rent based system and also according to my Rank which can be either B or A, as I have performed quite well in the tests, they will be either giving me less rent or no rent at all. So this clause also has no issues at all. 'It’s a good thing to be given a room for free or with less rent.'

Then I read the next clause which will be a bit problematic for me. It states that I will be given a team of adventurers for dungeon exploring and culling of monsters more efficiently. This will have to be negotiated because I don’t want a lot of attention on me, as having people following me will make it difficult for my other plans to work.

Then there were minor clauses like, what will happen if I die in a dungeon or get seriously injured, not joining another guild while working with The Cuties, having a contract time of 20 years because having mana in a person's body extends their life according to the capacity of mana they have, and some other clauses. But the main were the first three which are all good except for the team clause. After I finish reading the contract in 15 minutes, I look up to find Luna observing my every movement like a hawk.

“Alright …..I'll sign this contract but there is one clause that needs to be changed” I say, taking the pen from the pocket of the judge standing beside me.

“Which clause?” says Luna while eyeing the pen I am spinning between my fingers.

“The one where I'll be getting a team for exploring dungeons and culling the monsters because I don’t want a team and I won’t take any responsibilities if anything happens to them. I can handle myself pretty well, the team will only slow me down”

“Fine we’ll remove that clause” Luna answers as soon as I finish saying my point, bluntly.

“I… eh? You’ll remove it just because I don’t want it” I am a bit surprised as to why she answers without thinking a bit about my point.

“Yes, because I have seen your potential with my own eyes, not the eyes of the judge. I know you have what it takes to be a capable A Ranker of our Guild. I know how people like you think about themselves and quite a lot of them are fools thinking that they can take on a dungeon, solo. You are not one of them, I saw you fighting Ren and I know that every move of yours was calculated”

So she was the one observing me through the one way glass, I thought it was some random member of the guild. She has good eyesight, which might also be the reason why she’s still observing me with curiosity in her eyes. “ Okay let’s get this done then “. I stop spinning the pen between my fingers and sign off the contract under the name of Lily, immediately after that the judge beside me, hands a card to Luna which she observes for a few seconds and gets up from her seat and extends her hand for me to take the card and obviously shake hand for signing the contract.

“Welcome to The Cuties, although you may be a bit older than me, you still have to respect me as I am the Guild Master, alright?” Luna says with a smile on her face, if observed from other’s perspective, it might appear to be a cute smile, but I know the creepy smiles all well from my experiences on Elanoir.

“Thank you for taking me in, please take care of me GUILD MASTER” I say while stressing the last part which she finds a little irritating from the little bit of twitching I can see on her face. ‘I’ll be sure to take advantage of this GUILD MASTER word for a long time’ I think while giving her a creepy smile of my own.

“About the housing thing, when will I be able to get one?” I ask her as we both move back after shaking our hands.

“You can stay in one of the rooms on floor 14 as the floors from 9 to 15 are for housing our members” Luna says while asking the Judge to take me there.

“Have a Good Night Miss Lily, and once again Welcome to The Cuties.” Luna says while going back to do the things she was doing before this meeting and I reply in kind to her.

“Thanks for taking me in GUILD MASTER” which obviously irritates her as she nearly trips herself. I look at the Judge who is smiling and follow him as he takes me to the elevator and then to the lobby of floor 14.

“ You can take this room” he says while taking me to a room at the end of the lobby, which is a bit isolated from the other rooms.

As I enter the room I find myself in a dreamy place filled with pink, black, red and black colors all around the room. The room has a lounging area of about 350 sq meters with a huge TV of about 150 inches, then there is the kitchen with a dining table, of about the same size as that of the lounging area, and lastly a bedroom with connected bathrooms, the bed being of two king sized beds.

“Thanks for taking me here, have a good night” I say to the judge after he finishes explaining a bit about the room where I’ll be living for a few months, as I will be buying a house later on.

“Have a good night as well Miss Lily” after saying this the judge leaves.

I flop down on the bed while bouncing a bit, relaxing for quite a long time before taking out my phone and calling Reinard.

-Reinard’s POV-

‘Why are these people so stupid!!!’ I think while looking at my subordinates that I have made after my master left the city this morning to go make her own preparations. It’s not even been a full day since I recruited them and it feels like I’ll have to make new subordinates. ‘All’s well that ends well’ I say this while taking a look at the three people standing in front of me, a woman and two men.

“All three of you are unworthy of my teachings, your purpose in this world is only to be killed by the monsters in dungeons but you are still alive, which is quite a shame. I had given you only one job” I say while glaring at all three of them, my anger for their stupidity going through the roof. I have made fearless warriors on Elanoir but the trash in front of me is just horrible, the three couldn’t even kill a B rank monster despite them being the same rank, it’s just ridiculous.

“But we all tried, isn’t it enough. You need a party of 5 to even kill a B rank monster and we didn’t even have a healer on our side, how is this unworthy???” says the woman while trembling a bit under my gaze and the other two also support her.

As I was about to talk to them, my phone rang and I immediately answered the call, knowing that only one person would call me on this private phone. I was about to greet my Master but the idiots had to anger me by throwing tantrums, saying that I was ridiculous and unfair to all of them and cursing right to my face. Having had enough of their nonsense, I silence them up by cutting off their limbs by the movements of my hands and using mana threads to slice their limbs right in front of their eyes and using the fire spell, I cauterized their bodies and let them experience the pain of the highest degree a mortal can even handle, while healing them constantly and making their hell even worse than what it already was.

“Hello, Master?”

“Reinard, I’m so tired, it’s a pain in the ass to become an adventurer!!!” I listen to my master as she expresses her feelings, which she had only shared with me, for as long as I can remember and I immediately go into panic hearing her tired voice, which I had only heard once and that was a few centuries ago at that.

“What happened master?? Should I book a flight to L.A. and come there to help you? Are you injured somehow ? Please tell me masterrrr”

“No no no…… nothing happened to me and you know that something like that will never happen to me. I was just expressing my feelings of the day, Reinard. It was just very tiring for me, more mentally than physically.” I let out a sigh of relief after hearing her say those words.

“So why did you call me master?” I ask her while taking a look at the writhing flesh in front of me.

“Nothing much. It’s just that I joined The Cuties Guild today and I’ll tell you what, it was a good experience, maybe you should try joining once just to see how other guilds operate and try to improve the guild you are making” I listen carefully to what she says, as every last word she says is like a royal decree for me ( yes I am a lunatic for her, got a problem with that? ).

“Sure master, I’ll try the things that you have suggested to me and try to implement, improve and be better than other guilds”.

“Yes, do that and we’ll be the gods, hahahaha” master sure is in mood today, as she laughs for a bit and then goes on explaining about how her day was from landing and L.A to joining The Cuties at the end of the day. By the time she finishes, it's already past midnight. So I quickly bid her a good night. I look at the the three people in front of me and decide that it might be best to extend their hell till tomorrow morning to properly brainwash these trash and mold them into diamonds.
