"So..." Ted stared into George's eyes. "You want me to change all of the dishes except for the beer?"
"Yes." George replied. He had a paper of suggestions and recommendations for the whole place.
"So, what will I do next?" Ted asked curiously as he twirled his mustache.
"Well, first, get a cookbook. Second, ditch your supplier. And third, learn how to cook." George replied.
After the food problem, came the other problems.
The first was the service. Since there were only two workers here which were Ted and Fred. One was the owner and chief cook, and the other, was a teen who works as the cashier and janitor. Because of that, the service will take too long and so, the customers will be impatient. Ted needed some assistants. Fred needed some help with taking orders.
'So, Isaac and I could help with Ted. Then the girls...well, they're girls. They could be the waitresses and servers.' George thought as he wrote this down on the paper with a quill.
The second was the ingredients. The dishes needed to be delicious and affordable to make at the same time. Since fruits and vegetables were common, they were cheap and affordable.
But the problem lay on the meat and spices. Meat wasn't that common nor were they that rare but because of a war that George's been hearing of, there were shortages. Due to the lack of manpower and the rising tax problem, many slaughterhouses closed down.
All of this information was given to George by Isaac who joined the guild to help his family's situation.
Spices though were expensive. Thank goodness there were some merchants with spices that were much cheaper.
The third was rather easier said than done. To get people to eat there was a problem. So, to get customers, some flyers must be posted. What good is a tavern if there weren't any customers?
'So, the second problem could be for tomorrow when Ted gets a cookbook. The third could be made by Mileena. Or Grim. Or anyone.' George wrote down his notes on the paper. He looked down the floor where Grim was.
He was knocked out by the water pretty badly so he was just lying down there. He was also snoring.
"Speaking of snoring, it's getting pretty late now." George chirped.
"Yes, Yes. It's getting late and I still have to close up this place." Ted replied. "And Freddy boy already left so..."
"We get it, we'll go now." George informed him before looking at the group. Tina and Emily were quite full thanks to the steak and Isaac and Yu were on the verge of sleeping while standing. "Yeah, I think we'll go now. But first, where's the bathroom?"
George was trying his best to hold his pee in as he asked it. Ted just pointed towards another room and George bolted.
After peeing, he looked at himself in the mirror. He was shocked by his face.
"Huh, no mustache and beard hair growing..." He said as he touched his face weirdly. After a minute or two, he then remembered about the situation and quickly exited the bathroom.

The group was now outside. The tavern was now closed and it was night. The streets were barren as many vendors and shops were closed now at this time. Some people still roamed the streets but most of them were guards. There was also cheerful chatter heard in the distance.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
The group was separated into two groups, one was Isaac and Yu whilst the other was the rest.
"So, you guys are staying with each other?" Isaac replied tiredly. Tina and Emily nodded. George, who was carrying a sleeping Grim bridal style, then spoke up.
"Well, the place is cheap and it's at least close...I think." George mumbled the last part. "Meet here at sunrise?"
"Yup."
"Noted."
"Well, okay then. Come on Yu let's go." Isaac guided a nearly asleep Yu down the street. George and the two Chimeras looked at them with interest.
"What a lovely duo. They are bound to be together." George mumbled.
"Yeah, I could feel their love for each other emitting out of them." Emily replied. George whipped his head toward her.
"Really?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, not really. But I could very much see their love for each other." Emily replied bluntly.
"We need to go as well." George said as he walked in the opposite direction they were facing. The two then followed.
The walk back to the rundown inn was quiet. Only distant chatters, Grim's snoring, and the sound of their footsteps could be heard. The moon was shining brightly in the sky. Stars were also seen shining.
'Such a beautiful sight.' George thought as he looked at the sky, perplexed by its beauty. It was beautiful, something that was always there, he didn't notice it. Since he worked all day and night on the weekdays and always stayed inside his apartment, he has never seen the nighttime sky for a long time.
It reminded George of a memory precious to him. He smiled, though sadly.
He may not have noticed it but Emily did. She saw a single tear leave his eye.
They reached the front of the inn. The exterior was still the same. They then entered the inn. There was no one there except for Anna who was sitting down on a chair and counting some silver coins that were on the table.
She noticed them enter and immediately stood up from the chair she was sitting in.
"Welcome back!" Anna put on her fake smile as she looked at the group. "Are you staying here again or?"
"Ah, we're staying here." George replied which seemed to calm Anna. "Anyways, can we get another room?"
"Um yes! Since no one else is here, you can stay in any room as long as you pay 2 silver coins per night." Anna informed.
"Okay then. Um, Emily and Tina, you can stay in any room. Don't worry, I'll pay." George told the two. Emily nodded while Tina grumbled groggily. The two then went up, Emily helping the tired Tina.
"I'm just gonna put Grim on a table so I can..." George laid Grim down on a table. Anna interrupted him.
"Oh, oh no you can just pay me tomorrow."
"No." George replied, finally setting Grim on a table. He then got out a small sack from his pocket. He got out a small pile of silver coins and gave it to Anna.
Anna quickly counted it. Once she was done, she widened her eyes and gasped.
"T-this is 150 silver coins..." She said. "I only needed 2, y-you can have the rest back."
"You can keep it. You were having trouble with taxes, right? Consider this a thank you for letting us stay here." George replied, smiling, stunning Anna. Her fake smile faded, replacing it with a genuine one.
"Thank you!" She was now crying. George did not know what to do now so he just comforted her by hugging her.
----------------------------------------
'Wow, she cried for so long.' George thought as he entered a new broken-down room. It was the same as the last room they were in. He was carrying Grim bridal style again. He put him on the bed carefully.
Once that was done, he then called upon Mileena.
He unsheathed his weapon and carefully laid it on the ground. Then, he untied the ropes that were keeping the sword strapped to his back...
And laid on Mileena's smooth and soft thighs.
He sighed.
'Tomorrow's going to be a handful.' George thought as he reminisced about earlier. He looked over at his sword and the now pile of ropes. 'I need something else other than ropes to hold my sword.'
"Chris...stop...stop it..." Grim was mumbling in his sleep, moving to find a comfortable position as well. George and Mileena could hear it.
'Huh, Grim must be dreaming of something.' George thought.
It was all quiet and calm until Grim muttered something weird.
"Chris...stop xxxxxxx xx xxxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx."
-"..."
"..."
"..."
"Good thing I censored sexual things."-
"..." Mileena sweatdropped
"..." George was silent as he was in shock and disbelief at what Grim muttered. Grim continued mumbling.
"xxx xx xx...xxxxxx...xxxxxx~" Grim moaned and was squirming. "xxxxxx...xxxxxx..."
George choked on his saliva.
'What the hell.' George thought as he calmed down from his shock.
After a couple of seconds, the sleep talking stopped. George then sighed a breath of relief.
'I'm just gonna sleep now' He said in his mind as he slept on Mileena's lap again. 'lap pillows are heavenly.'
