Epilogue – Shapeshifting Unicormagus

Epilogue – Shapeshifting Unicormagus

So, Dom recovered from his death quite nicely and we took a nice little honeymoon to a neighboring kingdom for lots of CMS. Cliff used four god cards in exchange for our ability to come in and out of the game at will. He is now a Shapeshifting Unicormagus. Yes, that’s his class. He still goes by he/his/him for his pronouns, but that doesn’t guarantee his sex as he shifts so often, sometimes even we don’t know him. If you see a magic-using animal that defies explanation, please check to see if it’s named Cliff or Destiny before you decide to hunt it (or don’t – I think maybe he likes it). Cliff is enjoying the perks of being system admin of our company which includes the right to spend most of his weekends in the test-book stories we are developing. Who are we kidding, Cliff is often programming at the local tavern, using his tabs, though I think this is an excuse to be in the game all the time. I’m not sure.

Kat has taken on the role of worldbuilding. She is currently very obsessed with a pirate-themed thing that Dom and I are avoiding like the plague. When the pirates found out we’d jumped the broom in another kingdom, they insisted that we’d broken their contract with them for exclusive rights to our marriages. Thus, Dom and I’s marriage is still renewed on a yearly basis, something I might suggest to young couples as a way to keep the relationship fresh!

Kat’s fairy-tale world is in the final testing phase and will be available soon on the Nintendo Switch platform… Just KIDDING. I had you going there for a second before you saw all those capital letter though, right. All our software is proprietary to our operating system and only those who have left reviews will have a chance to play them. This is not extorting reviews (that would be against Royal Road policy) and all of this is Totally fictional!!! Cough cough, nudge nudge.

Any money donated to our Patreon account will be invested in expanding our servers. Monetary proceeds from books (which currently don’t exist) will be used to expand our services. While the game engine can handle the current workload now that Fizzie has been shelved, it needs more storage to expand our bookshelves so that more people can be sucked into the Nemesis Quest engine. We are accepting suggestions for new names for our engine. It has emphatically rejected our ideas like Jerry-Hal and wishes for a name that will adequately reflect our new less animosity-filled conflicts.

And finally, Dom and I have retired. We are currently taking an around the book-verse cruise on a pirate ship we stole from pirates who refused to marry us. Dom is quite irate. Don’t worry, Sammi resurrected the pirates he murdered free of charge so you too can experience the joys of being at the whims of pirate rules for marriage. If you’ve ever experienced the joys of Renn Faire guilds, you know exactly what I mean.

If you see a ship flag that has the Nemesis Quest’s old book cover on it, that’s us. Wave! We’ll come over and bring a few pastries. Eat as much as you want because one thing we’ll never change is that you never get fat in our worlds.

The end, for now. Check out our other books coming out Mar. 2024 as we finally put college all the way behind us and get serious about this writing stuff. Links coming soon. Seriously, though, please leave a review or even a comment because I am personally convinced no one has gotten this far.
