[Luke POV]
It took about 30 minutes of me and Athanasius debating why Neverwinter is still a village.
“Uncwel Lwuke!”
A girl suddenly hugged me. She had black hair and blue eyes. Princess Iris Harolds Arthurias.
She died in the game… the day she reached 10 years old… in 7 years she’s…
“Shouldn’t Iris be hugging me first?” my brother protested.
In response, she tightened her hug instead.
“I see you, evwy day daddy!”
“Let the children have fun. Your Highness.”
A woman with jade eyes and black hair appeared.
“It is an honour to meet you, Lady Irene.”
“The pleasure is mine, your Highness.”
“Uncle, let's play!”
Iris said, tugging my coat.
“Me and your uncle are still talking, Iris.”
“No!”
“You spoiled him too much, Lucas.”
I laughed it off.
The four of us had a pleasant conversation afterwards.

[A Certain First Prince POV]
“Did you convince him?”
“No.”
“Well, you already expected his answer didn’t you?”
“It was in the realm of possibility."
“Worried about him?”
“…”
“If your faction knew about that they’d surely be worried for you.” my wife said while letting out a small laugh.
“If they knew about it they’d target Lucas more.”
“According to my father, some neutral nobles have even considered creating a faction for Lucas.”
“I'm pretty sure he'd get mad if he knew that.”
“He has no choice.”
“I hate them.”
Why are they so adamant in pushing us to fight one another?
“He can’t escape it, he has become too valuable. He's become a direct competition not just to the south who imports spice from the caliphate but also your faction.”
“What about your father?”
“He’s just pissed that those nobles are trying to drag His Highness Lucas to their games.”
“His face was pretty shocked when he saw him.”
“Most people who have not seen him would be shocked. He’s looking like Lady Sophia every day that passes by.”
“Don’t fall for him I will get jealous.”
“Idiot.”
“Let’s make a baby brother for Iris.”
“Idiot…”
Hopefully… the day won’t come when I have to choose between Iris or Lucas…

[Luke POV]
After visiting the castle, I headed to the Palace with Rogers and Cynthia. Many people talked when they saw my carriage now that I opened the curtain inside.
“Are you sure we’re in the right place?”
“Yes, your Highness.”
“Why is there a mansion in front of us?”
“Your Highness, no other building in the capital is worthy of you.”
A forest surrounded the mansion, it had walls of its own as we entered it.
“Rowan and Sebas bought out 50 hectares of land in the capital, including the slum district. This land belonged to a defunct house that died out 400 years ago. About a third of the mansion was still intact but many of the statues needed work.”
It was secluded from almost everything, laying on the border of the noble district and where the common people lived.
It was abandoned for a long time leading to the slums claiming a part of it. However, due to a recent decline in the slum population of the capital, it was somewhat abandoned yet again.
“We already fixed everything your Highness, the engineers are installing everything in the house too. Though a huge reconstruction project had to commence, it took months, but the exterior should be fixed now, and the mansion was extended. Some parts are still under construction, the barracks especially.”
I was in awe of its beauty… the glass was still being placed as well as some workers placing glass panels but… it was beautiful… At first, I worried that they spent too much on it… but that… was no longer in my mind…
It was huge… occupying 20% of the land area. A baroque palace.
