Bram Liebling blocked another attack from the skeleton. Before striking once again on its head, finally making a crack.
But in that brief moment that he was recovering his sword, the skeleton flailed its arm at him, drawing blood as a result.
As in response he rushed at the skeleton and tackled it to the ground. He sat upon it bringing his sword down on it blow after blow.
After but a while the skeleton turned into particles and in its place appeared a couple of coins. He pocketed them before rolling over on his back to catch his breath.

"That was quite a battle."
[No time to waste. Move on there are already two skeletons heading this way.] Telno sounded in his mind, guiding him.
"Yes, yes. Thank you."
[The pleasure is mine.]
He moved on through the Dungeon finding some tombs and gravestones along the way. After a while he found what he was looking for an entrance to one of the tombs.
He opened it as quietly as he could and laid down there. He inspected his wound; it was a deep gush in his bicep.
Now without adrenaline he felt his arm becoming limp by the minute. He bandaged it with his left hand while he observed the two red dots on his map.
When they passed by his hiding spot, he finally let go of the breath he was holding in.
"I wonder how's the apocalypse going for everyone else."
[Not ideal, that I promise you.]

Nick sat atop one of the trees, observing below him the group of the Ikit tribesmen. He had on him a thick layer of mud and vegetation to blend in with the environment.
As he rested her waiting for the right moment a small spider crawled over. Not giving it much more than a glance Nick let the spider crawl over his arm.
His stealth at twenty percent doing its justice.
All the while in his mind praying for it to not bite him, as in his system it registered it as a poisonous species. He watched as the minutes ticked by and his patience with it.
Just as the time remaining on the task reached 1 minute he acted.
He jumped off startling the spider that was on him. As the group below him was still going about their own things in their encampment. When suddenly the shaman felt a slight chill run down his spine.
The Shaman turned around casting a spell from his polearm. A circle of various particles started to form. But he did not have a chance to fire it off.
As Nick fell, he lessened the impact by rolling on the ground. Followed by a quick upward strike through the Shaman's belly.
It hit the Shaman's side thanks to the turn, but as if expecting such a result Nick came swinging with his left hand.
The Shaman seeing that, struck his hand with the polearm. On Nick's face got clear a slight twitch in his smile, not expecting such a strong strike. But it mattered not as he pulled out the knife and hugged the Shaman while stabbing him repeatedly while a slight mana circled around his arm. Discharging with every strike.
Until what he felt in his arms was no longer the body of a shaman, but the sweet rewards of his victory. He transported them into his inventory and saw the tribesmen looking at him.
They formed a tight encirclement, with spears ready to pounce on him at any given moment.
From amongst them a burly looking man, with wolve claws came forward while saying something.
"Do you think they are ready to surrender to me?"
[Guess.] Hearing what Telno said he took a good look at the situation. While also glancing on his interface seeing 30 seconds remaining.
"Yeah, I don't think that's it. So do you have an idea?"
[They want you to take the role of their leader.]
"Excuse me. What?" He raised his voice and with that the tribesmen laid their weapons at rest.

Telno giggled a bit. [You see, I told you. Everything's fine.]
Nick ignored her for now and stepped towards the man. They both stared at each other for a while. Until Nick put forward his still bloodied hand for a handshake.
The man not missing a beat started to kick the blood off, while the tribesmen started to celebrate, rattling their weapons against the ground.
"What the fuck's happening?"
[It seems that you have confirmed your identity as their leader and shaman. Congratulations.] Telno started laughing at the ridiculousness of the whole situation.
[But anyway, five seconds remaining. Prepare yourself.]
He watched as the seconds passed until he felt his eyes become black for what felt to be a second.
Burning buildings and explosions were seen in front of him as he opened his eyes.
He was about to say something when he heard Telno say [Don't ask anything sneak and run to this location.]
He took, but a one last look of what appeared to be a cyberpunk settlement. With neon colours still on not damaged places, while fresh blood graced the cold metal ground.

Fifteen minutes before the end of the Tutorial and the start of the plan.
General Hank Tu'val was visiting for a check-up and to complete the formalities of the logistics. Mostly to sign up so everyone other than him will be absolved of responsibility.
But that's how it goes when you're in a high place, not counting the fact that if that happened, he got plenty of ways of mitigating the impact on his carrier.
He rode a new hover vehicle that was developed by the Army. It flew across the street with certain grandeur in the hands of his chauffeur.
"Sir, it seems to be a waste to just transport the car back to the station. Can't we keep it here?" The chauffer said, he was just a young guy. Right out of the planet Reighla, new from one of the many state army universities.
"When the Tutorial ends even the Chaos repulsion shields will cease to function, making all of the electromagnetic devices become faulty."
"Understood, sir."
"Do they not teach you this stuff? Where did you say you studied, on St. Alginus University?"
"Sir, yes, sir."
"If I remember correctly John Smith should be teaching the subject of Assimilation of new planets."
"Yes, sir. Although in my second year Professor Smith went to retirement."
"He did? I remember him telling us about how he'll retire because of us. It seems just like yesterday, but those fifteen years are something."
They spent the journey chatting with each other. The growing cityscape of the encampment was being revealed to them bit by bit.
People were going all around building these grand towers. All the while there were people going for a dinner, the places to pick from were many. So, everyone could find what they're looking for.
Yet all these people were soldiers. Each and every one of them carried a standard issued sword on the hip. While a couple of scrolls were hanged on the belt alongside a spell book.
"We're here, sir." The chauffeur said and opened the backdoor for him.
Hank took a step out of the vehicle and what greeted his sight was a great Space transport station. It was a building made out of special stone that was meant to withstand space turbulence.
"Sir, should I wait for you?"
"That wouldn't be necessary. You can park the car in one of the warehouses that's about to be transported, following the standard procedure. You can then take time off."
"Yes, sir. Thanks, sir." He said before leaving with a slight smirk at the corners of his mouth.
Hank shook his head at that before adjusting himself and stepping inside the station.
Inside were scientists running around in lab coats while the whole place looked disorganized.
With papers all over the ground and the computers working in full swing just like the researchers.
"Cole! Hey have any of you seen Cole?" Hank said as he shouted from the front of the room.
But not one of them registered him as if they were living in their world, they continued doing their jobs.
Seeing as this will go nowhere, he stopped the first scientist he saw and asked him about Cole.
He pointed him to one of the locker rooms where they keep their regular clothes.
"You were supposed to be ready when I got here to meet the diplomats. Not starting it. And what's with the weird hairstyle?" Hank said as he came into the locker room, finding there Cole getting into a pair of jeans.
"That's what 48 hours does to you. You might not realize it, but there are some people that do work for their living and not only laze around in their office."
"Well, of course I work. You wouldn't believe how much stress it takes to pretend before some bastards."
[Excluding your higher ups in the army. Right?] Telno said giving a bit of a reminder.
"Well, that's of course." He whispered.
"So, paperwork's all one has to do to afford top of the line hovercraft?"
"You jealous?" Hank said with a smirk.
"Kinda you could have invited me for the first test drive. I would have floored it."
"Yeah, you'll have a chance in the future. Now let's get going."
Cole finished getting ready and they went through the station until they got before a metal reinforced door.
Stepping through them they came upon a sight of a giant space tear that was being stabilized by the whole station.
They didn't have to wait too long before the diplomats and the last of the cargo came from the Arvandi Empire. Alongside their own soldiers that accompanied them.
"Hello, this must be general Hank?" A man came forward with a uniform unfit for his size as he wasn't really in the shape. "And this must be head scientist Cole? I'm Fugh Qai nice to meet you."
The man said before stepping forward and offering a hand for a handshake.
"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you. With your arrival I can rest assured that everything was delivered." Hank said before shaking the slightly damp hand of the diplomat.
"Well, not exactly." Hearing that Hank's smile fell off a little. “We decided that it would be only fitting to bring a bit more extra as a show of good will, to further happy cooperations."
"If I'm not mistaken. What you've brought seems to be a lot more energy to power up the shields?" Cole said from the side.
"Yes, that's it and also-" Before the diplomat Fugh could continue a beeping sound was heard through the facility. While red blaring lights could be seen flashing all around.
From the space tear an ever-changing energy started oozing out.
Hank seeing the situation to be difficult grasped the Diplomat's hand and took him hostage.
"Cole what the fuck's going on?" Hank said and stood in front of Cole. Fugh in hand gurgling on his own saliva, as the hands around his throat got tighter.
In front of them the armed entourage readied their weapons to be shot, yet they did no further movements. As if not to accidentally hurt Fugh.
"The last reports were not expecting any surge of chaotic energy in the next 24 hours. And the tutorial still has 30 seconds." There was no more needed to be said as the soldiers started shooting.
Hank took out one of his scrolls and crushed it, while an earth wall materialised in front of him. On the other side of the wall was only heard the gunfire that was unceasing. For Fugh it meant his final goodbye as he was nailed on the wall by his own soldiers.
"Can it be somehow closed off?" Hank shouted out.
"I'm working on it." Cole said as he already had an earpiece on him.
Not long after the guardsmen came storming inside the facility. Seeing as no harm will be done to the head researcher Hank took out his commander sword, activated his magical barrier and went out to kill the betrayers of the Universe.
They stood no chance against the might of the guards and the commander. Hank took them down one by one with his sword while conjuring spells with the other.
"Cole come here and quickly shut it off. If it continues this way our chaos repulsion shields will give out."
"I'm on it." Cole said and rushed to one of the instruments. He quickly typed away at the keyboard seconds going by until there was a sudden spike in chaos energy.
The tutorial ended signifying the release of the Dungeons.
The chaos energy breached the energy containers and combusted, leaking Chaos energy everywhere.
