My Dungeon of Terror
22 - Sixth Floor

22 - Sixth Floor

After the military cleaned up this mess that happened, many people were shaken, and no one dared to stay here as all the captains sent out messages asking to withdraw them from here at all costs.

Some soldiers even planned to escape secretly as no one wanted to stay there.

Experiencing this firsthand was brutal, as they all knew not all the people here were monsters, but so many appeared here at once and in the human camps. Impossible that these creatures took human appearance and sneaked here to kill humans for no reason.

The only explanation was that they turned at some point into monsters, but when?

A sword hanging above their head, and one wrong move and they will become headless.

The outside was shocked to learn the military inside wanted to retreat at all costs, as almost all commanders sent withdrawal appeals.

Soldiers were even more unrested at this as they knew their commanders could leave, but when could they leave? No one wanted to turn into a monster, and after a long battle of back and forth, the issue settled on withdrawal.

Once the news went out, the survivors who survived that massacre cheered in happiness as they packed up and were ready to go.

The soldiers let out silent breaths as they were scared of their teammates turning into monsters.

As for Dave, he watched calmly as they left.

***

Seeing the last person leave and no one coming inside, I knew for a long time no one would come here as the threat his dungeon posed was just too much for them to handle at their current strength.

But did it matter to me? Not really, as I already had the farm ready. These people who fought in the chaos were kidnapped by Vorzath, who took them away from him. I wanted to raise them for my fear points, so I created a kennel for them to live in as I stripped everything from them except their basic clothes.

10 males and 10 females. They will be put through inhuman experiments by Vorzath so I can have a constant income of points.

But this is getting boring as I felt how they face monsters all the time and just fight when people meet with monsters.

Should I make it more diverse? I thought to myself about how they felt knowing they had no power on the floor and had to use their brains for the first time in their life to find a route to escape it.

Like lab rats, I had the perfect experimental material at hand as I looked at the people who were locked up in the kennel.

Their food? Human remains or monster remains, but just give them raw.

Many of them are starving, but who cares? There will always be new rats, and they can always be changed and should feel honored not to be killed on the spot.

For such an honor, I also stamped them with a symbol of a skull on their face.

I can always know who my lab rats are and not accidentally kill them when I get bored.

Will I keep this promise for myself? No, I just told them as they called me the devil.

Laughing at them, I knew the devil would be much more merciful for them.

As I was seated on my throne, I mentally created how my sixth floor should look as I imagined a deep ocean floor. With many monsters on it, no matter the surface or underwater.

I should create my civilizations, shouldn’t I?

They are more collective in their action when outsiders come to their floor and more united and won’t do a headless charge at them, I hope.

As I imagined it, soon I saw my terror points reaching the threshold as the raids pumped my points up.

I saved up 30,000 points for this floor.

As I created my floor, changes happened.

I felt that the creature that was on the Fifth Floor that I couldn’t control at all instantly moved towards my Sixth Floor as it just started forming and becoming like a tumor on it.

This tumor was between the Sixth Floor and my chamber.

People have to pass this mysterious creature liar to reach my chamber, and I can’t even see what is inside, so I can imagine the horrors that are happening inside from what I have seen on The Fifth Floor.

Do you wish to evolve into Common Demon high-level? Yes No

I clicked yes, and soon my stats changed it, but nothing big happened after I felt the mana surging in my body.

Name Dave Race Demon - (Common – High-Level) ↑ Title Dungeon Lord of Fractured Realm Skills Demonic aura (Common - Passive), Demonic Strike (Common - Active), Devil’s Temptation (Elite - Passive) Traits Demonic nature, Psychopath, Sadist Alignment Neutral Evil Strength 95↑ Agility 84↑ Intelligence 82↑ Wisdom 77↑ Mana 844/693 ↑ Terror points 14,102

The next evolution costs 32,000 points, as I felt this is getting out of hand soon with it doubling every time.

In the early stages, it was easy, but now I think about it. Just to reach the elite level, I need more than 4 million points for the first level!

Then I don’t know how many stages there are after it.

Just calculating it out created a headache for me as I stopped thinking about this as I prepared for my floor instead.

Soon, like the previous floor, this one is ocean-themed, but Deep Ocean.

The staircase is always down at the bottom of the floor. The floor size is close to the size of the Black Sea.

Originally this wouldn’t be its size, but with the dungeon mutation and me spending mana on expanding it, it created this gigantic floor, bigger than all the previous floors combined, even with my chamber.

As I said, Floors can be expanded, but what’s the point of expanding smaller Floors? Just more speed bumps can be put there.

The only reason I expanded the sixth floor so much is the trouble finding the staircase leading to my chamber.

Appearing above the sea, I watched the endless water in every direction as I made the time to be a day and night cycle.

16-hour daytime and 8-hour nighttime.

Doing so, I added a specialty to the sea, but I saw dark fogs appearing and being ready to meddle in my business at any time to modify it to their liking.

Knowing they would interfere with whatever I was doing, I let them, as I did not want to waste mana on fighting them at all.

Soon the floor specialty was created, but it was changed by the black fog to be more eerie.

Tides of Memory The water contains a hallucinogenic property that forces adventurers to relive traumatic memories, leaving them in a shocked state for 1 minute, this ability will activate once an adventurer comes into contract for the first time with water and will reactivate every 5 hours.

Soon the final element came out, and looking at it, I could gain terror points from it, so I kept it. If it were not for my taste, I would fight this dark fog.

Soon my first creatures were created.

The surface was patrolled by ghostly ships with wraiths as their crew.

These ships either moved alone or in groups as I created them, but otherwise would fight against each other, recreating their last moments.

The ships were, of course, also creatures too.

They are massive creatures, spanning from 50 meters to 200 meters in length, and look like eels, but their heads are like hammers with their eyes positioned on each side.

The biggest ones can eat a ghost ship in one go.

The biggest ghost ship's length is 33 meters.

Such a gigantic maw was scary enough, let alone imagining it.

The next one is the creatures of the Deep Ocean.

Soon I felt I could not express my creativity, so I threw small fishes into a plus and some snacks for them.

The next one is a monster similar to lizards but with fins and hard armor on their bodies, as their size varied from 5 meters to 50 meters. (16.04 - 164.04 ft)

They also had special attacks as they could release elemental attacks. This was water or lightning.

But they were blind thanks to there being no light in the deep sea, so they relied on their sixth sense, sonar.

Thankfully, they can locate any creature with their inbuilt sonar.

Their whole body was a fish, but their head was full of sharp teeth, and they had hands instead of fins on their side.

They had extremely dark colors to be scarier with white eyes.

These creatures moved close to the surface and grabbed their prey that did not pay attention and would drag them down to the deep sea to feast on them. Their size is twice as long as humans and twice the width.

The next one is Deepfiends.

It had legs near the head, 3 pairs.

Each leg looked like a spider leg and had a massive mouth with 8 sharp teeth pouring out while many small ones created a living grinder out of its mouth as nothing would survive.

The end of its body, instead of a tail, had 9 octopus-like arms.

Deep Sea Dwellers.

A monster with a swelled head that is transparent, as you can see his brain while tentacles on the side of his head hang.

Two extremely big, dark eyes with a mouth full of razor teeth.

They have two arms like humans with pincers under their arms.

Instead of legs, they have crab-like legs, which they use to move around.

Name Nameless Race Deep Sea Dweller Titles None Skills Telepathic Dominance (Active), Command Pulse (Active), Enrage (Active) Traits Aquatic Lifeform (Passive), Rulers of the Deep Ocean (Special) Strength 44 Agility 58 Intelligence 144 Wisdom 132 mana 870/870

Skill Enrage (Active) Description Enrage all dominated creatures under your command as their intelligence and wisdom stats will be halved and they gain 50% of their total stat for the rest. This skill consumes 20 mana for each dominated creature under your command.

Trait Rulers of the Deep Ocean (Special) Description

As the uncrowned rulers of the Deep Ocean, dominating other creatures will be much easier by halving all skills consumption and costs that relate to other creatures.

With these completed, I went back to my room to sleep while the head butler and head maid waited outside and stopped anyone from interfering in my sleep as the mana I consumed this round was close to 10,000.

After all, stronger monsters consume more mana to be created, and intelligent creatures skyrocket this consumption.

The difference between intelligent and not is abysmal. One can create plans to hunt down bigger creatures while the other uses its instincts to hunt for prey and would not plan for its future.
