As we entered the floor, what waited for us was extremely thick fog.
“Damn it, I can’t see anything here!” Said Otto next to me as he tried to squint to see better in the fog.
I hit the back of his head for his stupidity.
“Are you an idiot? You won’t see anything even if you squint here.” I could only shake my head.
He could only embarrassingly look down at his feet as he scratched his head.
“Right, I forgot about it.” Said as he looked at the fog.
“Let’s go we have to reach the Second Floor before the others beat us to it.” I could only pat him on the back as I walked into the fog, and he followed me inside.
“Do you have a dungeon compass?” I could only turn back and ask him as I didn’t have enough money for it, but Otto surely had one, and I was right.
“Yeah, I have one on me wait a second, I need to take it out from my backpack.” Said Otto as he put down his backpack and searched for the compass.
“Why did you not prepare it beforehand?” I could only irritatingly say it as I forgot how stupid Otto is sometimes.
Soon he took out a compass, and luckily it pointed to the direction we had already walked and not another direction, as it would waste time.
“Hey, where are the others? Didn’t we enter together?” Otto said as he looked around as we entered together, but others did not.
“How would I know? Likely the teleportation disturbance this happens sometimes.” I could only raise my hands in innocence as I don’t know why this happened.
Only maybe the Dungeon Lords know why this happened, or even they may not know it.
Soon I felt my senses tingling.
“Activate presence eraser skill,” I told Otto as I disappeared from Otto's vision.
I did not become invisible as I stayed in the same position from where I disappeared, but simply temporarily I erased my presence, and without detection skills or until I move, I cannot be spotted by anyone only if they bump into me will they know I am here.
Soon Otto disappeared too, and we saw a monster with antlers appear not long later and look around confused as it heard people talking and followed the traces, but they suddenly disappeared.
Confused, it can only turn around and leave, trying to find other prey for itself to feed on.
Seeing it leaving, I sighed and started moving again and reappeared, and soon Otto too.
“Let’s go and leave this dungeon already. I have the feeling that something has been observing us all this time.” I could look around, but I saw nothing as I felt someone was watching us.
Waiting for Otto to catch up to me as I saw him rummaging through his backpack.
“Sorry, sorry, I had to write down the monster as it was new, and there is not much information about it, and the guilds would kill for any new monster information, so I thought about selling it later off.” Said Otto as he looked at me with a happy face.
“The little information you wrote down is not enough for a scrap for those guilds.” I could only roll my eyes at him how can he be so stupid, yet successful at this business is beyond my comprehension.
But thankfully we did not stay on the first floor too long as we reached the second floor.
As we descended the staircase, I saw fighting traces of battle here.
Instead of speaking, I pointed at the traces and gestured for him to be quiet as we moved forward, only the snow under our feet gave off the sound as we stepped on it, but this heavy blizzard easily suppressed the sound.
We can barely see what is ahead of us, and I have to look back to see if Otto is not lost, as being alone on this floor is a death sentence.
Soon we heard sounds of battle ahead, and we quietly made our way towards it.
Using a present eraser, we saw a familiar group fighting against a monster that we needed to hunt down.
Seeing them fighting far away, I disabled my presence eraser and monitored Otto to prepare himself for action.
He only gave me a thumbs up back, but I knew he was ready as we both equipped a gas mask on our faces.
We might be discovered later that we were the ones who fucked Jack's group over, but as long as they don’t see our faces, we can always deny it.
Just as we prepared ourselves to take action, I saw Jack, their leader, smiling in our direction. I knew we were in trouble, as they might have discovered us already, but I knew they might not be able to do big things after all, they had to end this fight fast otherwise, more monsters would arrive here, as many infected people arrived here already.

Soon I saw Jack taking out from his pockets a small ball, and I knew he must have gone crazy, as his teammates were shocked too.
What did he take out? Monster lecher and not some crap, but a genuine one, and from the look of it, it can make any monster smelling it enters a frenzied state.
This is different than normal ones, as this one was made so the Floor Guardian won’t be triggered, and I don’t know how someone created it, but my main priority is to escape this floor and later come back here if the monster's frenzy is over.
Just what happened to Jack, making him this crazy?! He might be an asshole that extorts people and cheats them out of money, but he was cautious all his life no way he has a way to escape.
Looking at him, he did not look towards me, but into the fog, smiling as he took another item, and activated the lurer. The item he took out was a return stone. Its price is in the millions, as it can save anyone's life as long as they don’t face a Guardian, as it can lock down the floor so no one can use any space-related item.
Looked at Otto for a solution, but soon roars echoed through the floor as monsters entered a frenzied state and came in this direction.
I saw Jack's teammates panicking and giving up on the monster as they tried to run back but were stopped by monsters, and I could see monsters coming from the staircase direction.
“Let’s go to the one leading to the Dungeon Lord's chamber, as we have not killed any Guardian yet, so we don’t have to worry about facing the Dungeon Lord himself.” Saying this as I grabbed Otto's arm and dragged him towards where the compass pointed, as the compass always points towards the direction where the staircase is for the lower floor.
As we ran, I saw Jack's former group fighting, but soon I couldn’t see them anymore but still heard the fight and screams but did not go back to see as I could hear rapid footsteps catching up to us.
Why not use a pencil eraser? The longer it is used, the more mana it consumes, and what would happen to me once I was out of mana inside a floor full of rampaging monsters?
Soon I saw the staircase leading to the Boss chamber, and we entered it. The monsters behind us stopped chasing us and could only vent their frustration on the ground as their prey left their floor, so they could only give up the prey that escaped and focus on those that were still on the floor.
As we made our way, what awaited us was not the Dungeon Lord's chamber, but another floor.
I was stupidly by it as this dungeon evolves way too fast.
Not even a month since its birth and already has 3 floors?!
Other dungeons take at least half a year to have it, yet this grew so rapidly. I could only feel fear towards the monster that lures this dungeon just how strong does one have to be?
The dungeon lord he is currently speaking about is having a showdown with a small centipede that dirtied his favorite skull.
I was taken aback by this thought, but the sound of scribbling on paper soon brought me back to reality. Looking at Otto, whose first thoughts were to write it down and sell this information to the guilds, as we might be the first ones to discover it.
Just as I was about to teach Otto a lesson, I saw something shining on the wall, and coming close, I found a gem.
It was a small red gem about the size of my middle finger in length and had the width of around 3 fingers put together.
“Holy shit! We are rich!” I took out the gem and showed it to Otto, who was frivolously writing down what he saw as I took the gems from the wall.
But soon he stopped writing and started collecting gems with me and putting them in our backpack with smiles that went from one ear to another.
Soon our backpack was packed, but there were so many gems and herbs growing around the entrance that it caused me heartache to look at them as I left them behind.
“We hit the jackpot, Matthew! We are super rich, and after I sell this information to the guilds, I can rack up even more money!” Otto was extremely happy with everything happening as we camped in the staircase we did not want any monster appearing at the entrance and getting chased by it.
“We have to thank Jack otherwise we would have never discovered this floor,” I said sarcastically as I remembered what Jack did, and I wondered why he did this.
He looked in another direction before taking out the stone and using it.
We weren’t his targets, but other people and his teammates were just a cover for him so he could come here without raising suspicion. This thing should have been obvious from the start. Why would a guy who mainly extorts weak people and newbies come to such a dangerous place?
We waited for around 20 minutes before we made our way back, and surprisingly we found no monster at all.
Dave instructed the floor bosses that the first people who entered the third floor should be let out without hindrance so they could spread the news about the third floor.
But this was something Otto and Matthew did not know, and Dave did not see, as he was currently being suppressed by the centipede it slipped into his clothes and tickled him all around, which caused Dave to manically laugh.
As Otto sold the news about the Third Floor information, many guilds at first were not interested, but an association was soon pumped up by this news and that was the Mage association.
They dispatched different groups to see if the news was legit, and Otto was held in a special car in case his information was fake, he had to pay, but Otto was not displeased, as this was normal to him.
Soon the news came back as true, and as if Golden Fewer took over the association, they dispatched even more people, as mining gems in dungeons is extremely heavy, normally after all dungeons mainly want to ward off adventurers and not lure them in, but Dave's dungeon just became so strong so suddenly, making many people give up on entering it at all, and only because of the special monster did they venture into it alone, but now a whole floor full of treasure made many people interested in going into it even though the death ratio of the dungeon was brought down from 90% to 54% thanks to the information about the floors and how to counter them.
But now the death ratio skyrocketed back to 80%, but this did not discourage people but made them even braver as the adventurer's equipment made the place have even more loot, and soon the golden hill monster was discovered, which could preserve the adventurer's equipment and did not attack at first sight, making them best buddies for many people as they could not bring important equipment up or it was too risky, so they left with the monster and came back later to kill it and claim it back.
The adventurers almost drove the Gem Stashers into extinction, where Dave had to spend mana to spawn them even more and upped the number of Cyclops from the original 4 to 6.
Why so few? One can wipe out multiple parties alone, and they cause such a big noise that other Cyclops will come here, and soon they will be besieged by multiple ones. The only reason was so people wouldn’t hunt the gem stasher to such a degree that he was forced to use his mana and let the dungeon naturally generate it.
This worked for some time until some people hunted down the Cyclops!
Dave gave up on this floor as it had more adventurers than monsters in it, but still, the Cyclops somehow could stay alive. These monsters were hunted for their hard skin and bones for weapons, making Dave question if the Cyclops were strong enough and if they needed an upgrade in strength.
