My Dungeon of Terror
14 - Demonification (2)

14 - Demonification (2)

The fight got more and more bloody as it went on, and the guy who I watch is getting brazen as he no longer cared if someone saw him kill, and because of this, a fight broke out for his blatant killing of other people.

But what can they do but leave him alone for his fate in these endless hills of skeletons? I was too curious about what would happen, so I instructed the skeletons to let him live and leave him alone.

I could see him raging as he kicked skeleton remains around and roared towards the sky as he got crazier as his treasures were taken away.

While others were also affected by the ‘tempted’ debuff, none of them displayed this level of madness beforehand.

Seeing how he reacted like a crazed beast, he picked up a sword from the ground and started running where the group went.

Not caring about the monsters around him, he started running with bloodshot eyes.

At this time his previous party found the entrance, but they got into trouble as the skeletons and bones they left behind soon formed into several giants and attacked them.

These giants are around 10 meters in height as they kick the humans like balls around.

Like when the kids kick the sand, the humans are the same as they hastily evacuate into the staircase for protection.

Their numbers dwindled from the original 530, and even with reinforcements, they only had around 600 people, but now? 84 people are here, the rest died.

You might think, why not ask for more people? The people have to make their way from the First Floor to the Fourth Floor while the monster will respawn over time, except for the Guardian, until all people who got marked leave the dungeon, fail, or accomplish their objective of defeating the Dungeon Lord.

I could see the leader having 3 keys in his hand as he came in front of my room, and I realized it was the same guy who came here last time and couldn’t enter and had to give up raiding the dungeon.

He looked more refined and calm, but under these eyes was endless despair and regret.

I checked him only to ponder how this could happen as I awaited the show as the guy who almost turned into a demon reached the staircase and descended as the skeletons and wraith let him do so.

He can use the staircase as he is still a human by what standards and not part of my dungeon.

But there are already buddings of horns on his head, and from the original pinkish skin, it turned reddish.

As he descended, he attacked everyone who was in his way, and another fight broke out, with each kill, he came closer to reaching 100% demonification.

But heard by everyone, there is a commotion, even though they are tired, they get up and prepare for a battle.

Soon the guy was covered in blood as he escaped the stairs, his sword was covered in blood, and the people who guarded the stairs did not expect to be attacked immediately.

But Sadly he was also tired and got besieged by so many people at once, he was killed at the end when he reached 99%, only 1 percent off, sad, but was expected.

Still, he killed 8 people in his craziness, which is surprising as he did not care about his wounds and just attacked others.

Their leader only glanced at him and took the papers that this guy had on himself and told others he would take care of it and they should all rest while he guarded them.

They listened to their leader, who went up the stairs, but no one saw something only Dave saw once he looked at the status of this guy.

Demonification 100%.

I forgot completely that the leaders will take the belongings of their fallen comrades and their treasures to save them for the future.

This also stacks with the debuff. I could only look forward to how he held back his impulses and did not transform like the guy previously, but as soon as he left the group, changes happened to him.

His skin cracked as purplish light escaped from it, and soon these cracks covered his whole body as soon he transformed into a demon, but without horns, as this was not uncommon as he most likely evolved into a higher-tier demon.

Just what realm did this guy reach? I was curious as to people who transform into demons, their potential and destiny they had will change into the potential of their demon part.

This guy, unlike the previous one, did not charge down but had a stoic, icy-cold face without emotion.

What surprised me even more was his turning back into human form as if nothing happened, but I saw a small grin on his face.

I checked his status as I was curious about what he had become, and I could only hold my head as I knew this trouble would be really big for humans.

For each person, you gain a 1% stat bonus to all stats.

This will be a menace for all humans once this person leaves the dungeon.

Never a demon like him appeared before, possessing both demon and human traits. Likely because of my influence and this guy's willpower that formed this new demon. He can be the main villain in novels.

Driven to insanity seeing how his teammates died in front of him as they were driven to this hopeless dungeon, and without anyone reinforcing their ranks, their numbers dwindled. Normally these people will not turn to demons, as their motivation is vengeance and they would not hurt the innocent on their way back, but because of my skill, he turned into a demon.

So in the future, whenever a leader tries to take the belongings of a person to safely keep, this will also add tempting value.

Good to know, and how horrifying will it be knowing your good leader was a demon? Will you continue attacking this dungeon as you are not sure if you got into a power play or were used as a scapegoat for others?

The despair and helplessness, this sweetness is just too good to resist.

I can already taste the air in the air.

The next day the leader called off the attack, and they all returned. I did not stop even helping them find a way back, as I was so curious about what this guy did, and I wanted to see the outside world for the first time.

But I had no way to go outside, I needed strength and some way to spy into the outside world, but how?

Right, blood moon. That is the time when monsters can leave the dungeon, and I need some ways to send out some probes into the world.

I could only have a headache from Selena trying to massage my head with her cold hands.

Soon my headache went away, and I felt great pleasure from this.

I could enjoy this all day, but back to the present, I needed to have a way to see the outside world.

Spatial manipulation might be the way, but I can only access that once I reach High Demon, which is a bit far away, but close enough for me to accomplish before the next blood moon, as only a month passed since my birth in this world.

Not knowing what to do after the raid was over, I wandered around my castle. I miss the days when there were raids every day without interruption.

The garden is green, the sky is blue, and the centipede is back. I can see a bunch of stewards and maids chasing it as it tries to run away only to be captured and sealed into a jar.

Just as I took the centipede, I felt a slight connection with the outside world as the raid party leader left.

As if the outside world is connected to my dungeon? Feeling the changes, I tried to find where it was coming from, and I could sense the changes around my dungeon.

Could this be because of the demonification?

Did I affect the outside world by turning a person into a demon? But what changed?

Something big must have been outside the dungeon that I was not aware of.

***

Outside at this time, the dungeon changed once the party left.

Normally a portal would just exist in a place not affecting their surroundings at all only when the Bloodmoon comes.

But at this time some fog from the first floor started coming out of the dungeon, and the ground around it started cracking, and blood covered the surface around the portal in a diameter of 7 meters. (22.96 ft)

Many people were taken aback by this situation. The dungeon perimeter was locked down, and many researchers came to analyze the situation.

After all, this situation never happened where a dungeon affected their surroundings.

If other demons were here from Hell, they would know this is corruption and the last section when a world is being corrupted, but it shouldn’t happen at all to this world so soon.

Likely something happened that affected this world order.

The people's voices who wanted to eliminate dungeons became even stronger, and the first target was the Dungeon of Terror, which caused all of this.

Since its appearance, it was an anomaly different from other dungeons.

More and more people called for the siege of this dungeon, but who wanted to do it first was the big question, as the first person to start the siege would suffer the most, as the Empire had already passed the problem to the guilds as a way to say, We protected you until now, and this is your job, not ours.

In such turbulent times, can heroes and villains rise? Like a certain demon who appeared on the planet with a wide grin wishing for the system's destruction and bringing chaos his way.

People pass the hot potato to each other until someone has to keep this hot potato in his hands only to burn himself in the process of holding onto it.

Who will this person be? Dave doesn’t care only to enjoy and watch the show.

He started making plans for his next floor as he knew he needed to reach a higher demon rank to be able to spy on the outside world.

He knew his plans for the next floor were a bit grandiose, so he broke his idea into two. The Fifth Floor will be a shallow ocean, while the Sixth Floor will be a deep ocean.

He already envisioned the monsters on this floor would be more numerous and more terrifying.

But before that, he needed enough Terror points to create a new Floor.

My terror points slowly climbed up to 8000.

Perhaps I should try Dungeon Challenges? After all, one dungeon gave 5000, but that was only after the humans had cleared the area bone clean.

This small raid gave me a better look that one skill has many outcomes and this ultimately comes down to the person who is affected by my skill.
