Eat lunch and have a nap

I wake up screaming on the inside this time since I don’t want to disturb the people next door,

the sun is still rising so it’s sufficiently dark out,

keeping an eye out for the adventurer group, which is still resting, I head out to fight some more ogres,

I run around for a bit until I meet my desired foe, a 3-meter tall meme, he shouts something about onions and layers while waving around a log,

I need to try other methods of killing so I run around and start climbing up its back,

the ogre doesn’t like how I keep ripping out chunks of its flesh to use as handholds so it starts flailing around,

I reach its head and swing around to its face.

I spear my hand through its right eye, the slimy warmth and squishiness against my fingers feel weird,

the ogre thrashes around even more violently while shouting about some lord whose name begins with an F, that is until my hand reaches it’s brain and gives it a tight squeeze,

the ogre spasms a bit and falls over, landing on it’s back making a loud *thump.

Removing my hand, which was elbow deep in ogre skull, I hear a metallic clank behind me.

Turning around I see the five adventurers before, eyes wide with their mouths open looking stupefied,

did they watch me kill this? What should I say? I cut off the right ear while I was thinking on my introduction to the normal inhabitants of this world, ‘’umm, hello?’’ that is a good enough introduction,

the adventurers snap out of their stupor and raise their weapons eyeing me warily, this is bad, do they think of me as some kind of monster? I need to break the ice somehow,

‘’h-how do you do? I mean no harm’’ that should tell them my intentions well enough, the leader looking, guy, opens his mouth

‘’who are you? What are you doing in this low levelled area?’’ huh? This is a low levelled area? What do I say? uuh

‘’my name is Su, I got lost and ended up here by mistake, where is this? Do you know the way to the nearest city?’’ how do I get out of this forest?

I'm going to go by the name of Su since that is the first two letters of my name and saying sucksuke every time would get annoying,

‘’This is the D rank forest since you can take down an ogre single-handedly, you should be a C rank right?’’ they are saying words I don’t really understand, but I heard a ranking system?

I can’t ask since they seem to look up to me, identify you’re the only one! I whisper ‘’hey identify, tell me about the ranking system they were talking about’’

Adventurer ranks: level 0-19 = E, 20-39 = D, 40-59 = C, 60-79 = B, 80-99 = A, 100+ = S

The Shrek kind of world is this? It’s hard enough to gain levels but there are people that get above 100? What do you have to go through to reach S rank? Oh right, I have to reply to them

‘’Nah, I’m a D rank like you’’ since my level is still 31 that means I’m a D rank,

the adventurers are surprised, well I would be surprised too if I meet a little kid that can take on ogres and is the same rank as me

‘’We happen to be heading home about now, would you like to join us?’’ I really shouldn’t, but at least they are confirmed to be humans so I guess I can trust them

‘’sure!’’ I reply smiling, the tip of my tail flicking side to side

The team consist of a ranger, warrior, mage, thief and shield user, a pretty balanced team but missing a healer, they seem to supplement their health by waiting around for it to regen naturally or by using potions,

are we all heading south? I can't tell directions, does the sun rise east in this world?

I just follow the leader warrior guy and kill some monsters on the side.

I munch on some fruits while walking, this is still pretty boring, why not chat with some of my party members?

‘’Hey, so what are you guys doing here anyway?’’ the team leader responds with an ‘’it was a quest from the adventurers guild, kill 10 ogres’’ oh, do you need to register?

‘’I'm not knowledgeable on the adventurers guild, can you explain it to me?’’ they all look at me confused, oh right, I did say I was a D rank like them, how would I not know what they do if I am an adventurer, uhh think of something!

‘’I’m from a different country and the adventurers guild here might have different rules than what I’m used to’’ they nod their heads understandingly, good, I fooled them!

‘’the guild here is the Tor adventurers guild, anyone can join and the rules are just to behave yourself basically’’ well that’s not very specific

‘’is there a toll to get in the city?’’

‘’adventurers can move everywhere for free, how do you not know this?’’ CRACKLE what do I say? ‘

’I'm planning to become one’’ there are a few ahhs and ohs, did they forget the previous question or something? I totally just said I was from a different guild then said I wasn't in one. I'm not complaining

‘’someone of your strength would be a pretty good addition for the guild, hope you treat us well, future colleague’’ these guys are pretty nice, albeit stupid. it would be fine for me to party up with them for a while

Level up cheat skill: succ levelled up

the gravity weighing on my body increased a bit, the footprints I leave are pretty deep now, this might be a hassle in the future when just by walking I create craters,

I use suck below my feet, pulling the ground upwards at the same strength in pulling downwards, cancelling each other out, now I leave no footprints.

We encounter an ogre, the shield bearer blocks a downwards swing of its club, legs buckling as the ground quakes a bit

the ranger fires arrows at its head, missing sometimes and scoring three shots in its shoulders, chest and eye

warrior hacking away at its exposed belly

the mage just standing there chanting some embarrassing lines about calling upon the flames

and thief stabbing at its knees.

I just sit here on a tree watching them, they have pretty good coordination. will I ever have a team?

The mage shoots a fireball out of his staff every once in a while,

After around 20 minutes of battling like that the ogre falls down. burnt, stabbed, and covered in arrows, what a messy way to fight,

I ask them ‘’why don’t you just cut its neck?’’

while they disassemble the corpse, the leader, taking ragged breaths replies ‘’have you seen that thing? It’s too tall none of us can reach its head, the only way for us to kill it is to whittle it away’’

I tilt my head ‘’why don’t you just climb its back or trip it? I saw the thief stabbing its legs so why not cut its tendons and give it a push?’’

the leader pauses, putting a hand on his head before shouting ‘’AHA! Why didn’t I think of that! We can just use traps and other things to tie it down then finish it off with a blow to the neck!’’ this feels pretty good, teaching people that is.
