steel capped leather boots – 1100 copper,
it might be a little expensive, but it will be worth it in the end,
I would be able to run without minding the sharp rocks on the ground, without worrying about stepping on animal droppings, be able to add kicking to my arsenal of killing moves and finally have some clothes to not walk around barefoot.
I take the boots to the counter and ring the bell, a few moments later one of the dwarves finish and attend me

the dwarf scans me from head to toe ‘’do you have the copper?’’
I take out 1 silver and 1 iron and hand it to him ‘’yuppers, here ya go~’’
the dwarf takes the money and stores it somewhere

oh boy! They would be a little bit too big for me if I wear them right now,
I hand the boots over to the dwarf and wash my feet real quick, don’t want my new shoes getting dirty on the inside!
Should I get socks as well? Good thing my toenails aren’t sharp too, else my wardrobe would decrease even further and all would be torn to shreds
wait, why don’t I just sleep naked! AAAHH I'MSOSTUPID!
If my clothes get cut when I sleep, why wear clothes!
At least I can keep wearing this cloak since it has regen so I won't be completely naked

The dwarf is back with my boots and some tools, in reality, not much time has passed while I was thinking to myself,
he gestures me to sit down on a chair so I do, he bends down and puts the boot on my foot, am I Cinderella now? Too bad there are only 4 dwarves instead of 7, wait, wrong thing!
The dwarf fiddles around with the buckles and tools, shaving some leather here and there, removing some bits, adding some, hammering the metal a bit and voila!
A pair of steel capped boots fit perfectly to my feet!
The boots climb up to the middle of my shin, is that high? The brown leather feels soft on the inside and durable on the outside, the toe part is encased in steel and the laces feel heavy duty, truly dwarven engineering!
It feels a little bit heavy but I can just say its part of training!

I exit the smithy/store in a good mood with the tip of my tail wagging, do cats wag their tails? Well, I am, so I guess so,
I skip my way to the adventurers guild ignoring all the stares and warm gazes
turning at a couple roads and entering the building i now to look at the available quests,
I look at the E ranked quests and find what I'm looking for, Goblin subjugation! a staple of the fantasy genre!
I take the tag for the E ranked quest along with the D ranked version since I cant tell the difference between goblins, I might be killing the B ranked versions for all I know.
it's not like i have a convenient skill that would answer all my questions or anything! oh wait

I pour out all the goblin ears in my inventory into the big tray, those things filled up quite a large percent of my storage mainly due to how many packs i slaughtered in the forest and on the road here,
the goblin ears continued to pile up high in the large tray until I run out, forming a mountain of green, stinky flesh
the receptionist lifts up the massive load with their small arms and places it on the scanner,
the scanner lights up then dings with some numbers and stats shown on a small screen. the receptionist hands me 3 silver, 9 iron, 4 bronze and 5 copper,
I feel like I just struck the jackpot here! Who knew all those goblins were worth so much! This day just keeps getting better!
I take my loot and leave with my tail wagging at even greater speeds, any faster and I might fly away!
Nothing can ruin this day for me!

the prince takes out a red potion from a bag and pours it all over him. his wounds close rapidly as he walks over to me
