Mr. Garret trotted round the alleys of the dark dreaded castle, the gloomy whispers had reproved every form of light. He kept his feet in motion and had no warmth in his own hands, the sensation of fear that was jarred on him had not been suppressed, and as he could say a word his lips were trembling with great fear. He looked round and found no presence of any souls within the thin walls of the alley and as he could heed his eyes elsewhere he spotted an enormous shadow upfront, it was proceeding towards him, closer with every breath falling through his lips, and his feet had the sense of cold. The enormous shadow had hideous eyes that could mean nothing but ordeal and it had no evidence of dwindling as it surpassed the last wall that was situated between them. Mr. Garret was seized in his place and had no right to move, as the shadow appeared closer Mr. Garret spotted its lips, it was muttering the words.
“You must pay, you must pay for your sin dear, for your salvation dear, it is no obscurity and you know of that, you must pay, you must pay Joseph!”
The maid had her hands filled with the damped cloth for she was betrothed to wipe the floor, though she had the urge to treat herself a nice cup of tea and if she was intended to make one perhaps she thought she could serve her master a cup as well. The kitchen never was awash with the lamentable matter that is to say the dirt, it was her most desirable place in the whole house and she had cleaned the place the first thing in the morning. The tea was served quite perfectly and was waiting patiently to be served against the eyes of herself and Mr. Garret, though she had not a wish to drink it alone and be with Mr. Garret. Her walk was blithered with her charming smile and as she positioned herself near his room, she took a deep breath and readied herself to welcome him on a nice morning, she looked attentively at the cup and the delicacy of herself was avowed to her in a quite perfection. She dispersed herself onto the room.
“Oh my lord?!” the cups dropped from her hands inadvertently as she witnessed Mr. Garret shivering onto the floor, his eyes had the redness speak for itself and his fingers were trembling as if he had witnessed somewhat dexterous of an ordeal entity.
“Mr. Garret? Are you alright?” she asked though no words could fall kindly from his lips.
“Mr. Garret? Sir?”
The clock on the mantelpiece had struck twelve, Mr. Garret roused and the joint of his body was in a torpor state but he knew he surely could not remain in his current state. He sat down and found The Maid resting on the floor. Mr. Garret looked round and to his surprise to fail in finding the letter that he had deserted before he ventured into his sleep and as his prowl had begun The maid parted from her sleep and saw him, searching within the reach of his arm.
“Sir, what are you doing?”
“Where are the Letters!”
The maid had her forbearance to not indulge in the matter of her master but perhaps his health had not held enough power for her not to surpass the limit.
“Sir, you are too exhausted, I am afraid I need to ask you to rest for a few days,”
Mr. Garret turned round and his eyes were composed with the ailing sense of feeling.
“Certainly, I am in no avail to rest, I must finish my work and report to the Earl of London,”
“Sir, I have your papers confined to a safe place but I shall grant your request if you take the rest for the whole day,”
“No Lady, do not cause me trouble and anxiety as I am already suffering with enough, please return the letters at once,”
The maid leered at him and as his words had parted from his lips, for sure he seemed obstinate enough.
“Sir, I found you shivering so I informed the doctor and he has suggested for your great health that you must rest and eat and drink greatly,”
Mr. Garret had his temper flourished incessantly and as he heard the gentle words of her he could not hold the poignant moment concealed within himself.
“Pardon me for saying this but I suppose you have forgotten your limit as a maid, so do you mind returning the letters to me now?”
His latest words held such a pang that it was already a surmise on her cheeks, and she could speak no such words and suddenly left the room, when she returned, she had the piles of letters on her hands and the eyes that could avow the great disappointment but perhaps the discern of the truth and sadness were there as well. She smote the papers onto the table and without saying a word, she left. Her look did give him the rage of penitence and no words could teach him the sense of his fault, though he decided to not heed much in this matter and began his perusal.

“Sir, do you mind feeling an apple in your mouth? Perhaps I have my foreboding regarding yourself, you should intake medicine as well, now I must proceed onto my story, though it will only involve me in more trouble yet I want my words to be heard and I suppose you are the only one that is capable of hearing, whenever I indulge myself in the thoughts of those times, I feel the great dismal for myself as if they are here to haunt me, I must not lean onto something else and talk about the incident. One night, we had finished our supper and had nice laughs among us three, though I had not forgotten the malicious attempt of my Uncle on the first morning of my arrival yet I decided to not heed much. Jenny and uncle had vestiges into their sleep and I was destined to take care of the plates, though it took not much of my time, I walked to the room where Jenny was hopelessly sleeping and I took the place beside my sweet sibling. I remember the moon, it was shining more effectually than ever when I was unclasped from my preposterous dreams by the contemptible force of my uncle, I woke up and looked at his face and understood his peril intention. In my eyes, he was never a man of refreshing candour of sorts, and his ailing capricious, I had no knowledge of how to reconcile it. As my eyes were open I trembled with the great shock, though he held my mouth to not let my threatened lips let out a scream, yet I felt the traits of my screams within myself.
“Fret not dear, I am here to do no harm to you, perhaps you should not wake the poor Jenny to witness the expedition of our similar feelings,” he whispered, “I must confess, I am greatly attracted to you, Evelyn, perhaps I have seen you looking at me with your leer reeked with your perversity, and I wish to think that I am not wrong in this regard.”
He didn’t say much and didn’t let me utter a word, and his cheeks had a gentle smile but for me, it reiterated my vexation or perhaps my anger.
“Say it, Evelyn, Say it, I will not hold you anymore,” he retraced his hands from my lips and I was delivered a chance to speak as I must confess, the anger had taken over me and it was utterly evident in my next sentence.
“Get off of me you bastard!” though I had my power behind the words, yet it was not enough to make Jenny wake. I started to let my hands go free and hit him yet he held my hands soon enough and leered at my own eyes.
“If you make any such noises then I am afraid I will murder you and your brother as well, he is too young to be graved, you must think about that,”
His threat held such exertions to serve my dreaded silence, his face suggested the depositary of his dispelled belief about my love for him and now he had expected of me to provide pretensions of my own, it nearly broke my reconciled heart, not for his beliefs but for the miserable future of ourselves.
“I suppose I was wrong, I can see the inclement on your face, perhaps you should not fret as I assure your safety, Evelyn, if you agree to my terms as well,” he said with such a great gaiety and so careless so false and out of his bad-tempered character.
“No, I will not! You get off of me!” I started to force my escape by pushing him, even though I knew that he was a lot bigger than myself. He quickly traced my hands onto his strong grip and retraced our very old position.
“Don’t you be so obstinate, it will do no good for you dear,” this gaiety change of his only increased the sad attraction for me, and as he could say much the smile formed within his cheeks, I struggled to free myself, he offered his wish for me to treat him on terms of rigid etiquette though I would not! No woman will!
“Stay silent cunt! Your struggle will wake Jenny!” he held my body with so much power that perfectly matched my intense fear, he then amply turned me over forcefully.
“Do not make a sound or else you will endanger the young life of this boy.”
He lifted my petty coat and I was forced to face the floor which was careless evidence of his acts against my eyes.”
Mr. Garret tumbled upon the point to intervene himself and let the paper rest beside his place of sleep, he rose and decided to have a nice conversation with the maid. The guilt of the consequences of his words was heavy on his shoulders, though he wished to let the effect of his saddened acts dispel yet he was hesitant at first to even let his lips walk against her eyes. He stood against the kitchen with his hands behind his back, and as he could trot a word she had faced his sad candour face.
“Are you here to make fun of my work again?” she asked as she was employed by the cleaning of plates. For a moment, Mr. Garret stood against his will and felt the sudden urge to stay silent and let her absorb his utterance of the guilt that he had struggled to feel though amply he was forced to speak.
“Perhaps I am here to seek your forgiveness, I was not myself back then,”
“I will guarantee your forgiveness if you agree to rest for the entire day, otherwise, I will hold my anger against you until the duration of your sojourn expires!”
“And what if I agree to your preposterous question then what will happen?” he asked.
“Then we will have the safety of our friendship,” she said with such a gentle smile and her eyes that could not mean anything but the sharpness and her gorgeousness that in his eyes no one could match.
“I will be resting for the rest of the day if you allow me to treat you well by having you hold on to a nice restaurant with me,” his body had such a confidence that could only startle her and or did as her contemplation was on him for the alluring reasons.
“Do you mind giving me your answer?” he broke her engagement with her admiring eyes.
“Oh no sir, I must say, I am not a lady to venture into a rich restaurant with a person like yourself,”
“Oh you are not required to worry, I am sure if I put you in the right clothes then I can pass you as a fine lady any day, well My patience does not require your answer at this moment so you may speak in this regard at your own will,”
Mr. Garret began to surpass her and to disappear in his room once again to fulfill his word’s importance though before he could turn round The maid interposed.
“Sir, but I do not possess any such right clothes,”
Mr. Garret stopped and looked at her, he had a few unimportant words but decided to restrict his lips and said what held the importance.
“Perhaps if I say I will come with a dressmaker and employ them to their hardest task then?”
She smiled at him and didn’t hesitate a little to say what she intended to before she could suspend her work.
“Then sir, I will be honoured to go with you.”
