Today was a new day for the party. Frey and Raffie had gotten up around eight and went for a morning coffee date. Voulin woke up around nine to prepare then headed out to meet with Jessica who arrived shortly after he did. They happily began their first date together.
While the rest of the party was off embracing the romance in the air. Misen was in her hotel room with a killer headache from drinking too much last night.
“I wish my sword gave me the ability to not have to deal with hangovers. You can regenerate me from nothing, but a simple hangover you can’t do anything about. This is bullshit.” Misen voiced her complaints outloud. “I wonder what I should do today. My entire party is out right now, it’s just me today. I should eat something first before I head out.” Misen got ready by changing into some casual clothing, and she washed her face. After she finished getting ready, she made her way to the inn’s food area. She bought herself some breakfast and pondered while she ate.
Should I visit Alyja and get some information from her? I can’t really think of anything else to do right now. After Misen finished her food, she paid and then left the inn. She walked towards the great library and before walking through the entrance she had a decision to make. Does she go meet Alyja or go through the library normally. While she was pondering this question she was moved by the crowd through the entrance. Her decision had been made for her and she ended up inside the hidden library once more.
“Back so soon?” The now familiar voice spoke to her. She was as beautiful as ever although she was wearing more casual clothes rather than a dress.
“I’ve got nothing else to do other than get information, though I was in the midst of my decision on whether to go here or the regular library.” Misen casually responded.
“So talking to a god is nothing but an afterthought to you. I can’t say I hate it, it’s rather entertaining.” Alyja laughed. “Well it seems the rest of your party is embracing the romance, why aren’t you? Or is there no one you fancy?” Alyja had been observing the party after her meeting with Misen.
“I don’t want to fall in love, I’m afraid of the day I have to watch them leave this world. My only real options for partners are other beings with seemingly no limit on their lifespan.” Misen sighed, she couldn’t help but speak her mind when she was with Alyja.
“So like dragons. Or gods.” Alyja smiled, she had an idea. “I want to observe you, and you want information. Rather than a day filled with simple questions and answers. How about you take me on a date?” Alyja gave a smile to Misen. Misen had trouble processing what she heard. She took a deep breath and said.
“Can you repeat that? I’m not sure I heard you right?” Misen was not against dating women, but she was not sure about dating a goddess.
“You take me on a date. D. A. T. E. What’s wrong, am I not your type? If that’s the case I’ll drop it, but otherwise why miss out on the chance of being on a date with a goddess?” Alyja was serious and reaffirmed her statement. After a moment of silence, Misen made up her mind.
“Well if you’re serious, then sure. Would you like to go on a date with me, Alyja?” Misen gave a sincere declaration.
“I accept, Misen. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a date with a human. So do forgive me if I’m a little rusty. But first, let’s get dressed into some better clothing. Don’t worry, using magic I can adjust the size of anything in my closet. Feel free to pick what you like.” Alyja smiled at Misen as they were teleported to a massive closet. Just like how the library had an absurd amount of books, the closet had a seemingly endless supply of clothing.
Misen ended up picking a white wrap crop top which she tied the front with a bow knot. She paired it with black pants. Just like Alyja said the clothes adjusted to fit her body.
Alyja wore some fancy purple colored earrings that matched her eyes. A lake blue top and a white pants. After some final touches they met up and got to see how each other looked.
“Now that I’m getting a good look at you in some nice clothing, you have a nice natural beauty to you. We’ll be quite the sight together during our date.” Alyja went up close to Misen so she could get a good look at her. “Well, what do you think of me?” She did a little twirl so Misen could see all of her.
“Your beauty would make you look great in anything, but your outfit goes nicely with your hair. I think you look beautiful.” Misen was feeling oddly very comfortable with Alyja. She was easily able to compliment Alyja who she had originally felt uncomfortable even talking with. Alyja snapped her fingers and suddenly they were exiting an empty alleyway. They walked out so that their date could begin. They had a few onlookers as they walked through the city.

“First, let’s get some sweets. The sweets here are to die for.” Alyja proudly said. Alyja took the lead on the date. When they sat down they both ordered some mini cakes. As they ate, the questions finally began.
“So do you happen to know of the location of the dragon goddess?” Misen asked while taking bites of her cake.
“Straight to the point, I don’t hate that. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen Krivena in about a thousand years. She and Sherasil were rather close so your best bet to find her would be in his territory.” Alyja explained. “Is there anything else you wish to know?”
“Are the other gods real?” Misen was pretty curious.
“They are. Udione, Kenja, Orphine, Veline, Buvmos, Chobus, Eruer, and Sherasil are all real. But I haven’t seen most of them in over a millennia. Though I have a feeling that you’ll probably meet at least a few on your journey. If you ever meet Veline be wary, because that woman is unpredictable. Do you have one that you wish to meet in particular?” Alyja explained. The questionnaire was fully underway.
“If I had to choose one, then it would be Kenja. I was born and raised in her territory and used to worship her, before I lost faith.” Misen replied.
“I see, well I hope you meet her during your travels.” Alyja smiled. The two carried on their date after they finished eating their cakes. While wandering together they encountered Voulin and Jessica.
“Are you on a date as well, Misen?” Voulin jokingly asks.
“Yeah I am. Surprised?” Misen replied.
“A bit, but you two look pretty together. Is she a god or a dragon?” Voulin tried to make another joke.
“God.” Misen casually replied.
“I’m Alyja, the goddess of love. Nice to meet you, party member of Misen. Voulin and the lovely date Jessica.” Alyja introduced herself with a smile.
“Well shit. I failed twice. Nice to meet you Miss Alyja. You do have a seemingly otherworldly beauty about you.” Voulin comments.
“He’s right, you do have that otherworldly feel to you. I guess we both can check that off our bucket lists.” Jessica was bewildered and couldn't help but laugh. “Nice to meet you as well Miss Alyja.” She said after regaining her composure.
After some small talk. “We’ll let you go back to enjoying your date. See you later.” Misen said. The pairs separated and went their own ways. Misen and Alyja explored some more and looked at beautiful sights. No matter where they went they had people stop and stare at them. The pair then ate lunch and dinner together. They only had met Voulin and Jessica but not Frey and Raffie. Afterwards, Misen dropped Alyja off at the library, then went to get some drinks.
Once she was tipsy she didn’t have the stamina to drink more. The date with Alyja really tired her out. Once she arrived at the inn she saw Frey and Raffie head in as well.
“Hey lovebirds, how was your second date?” Misen asked.
“It was wonderful, we both had a wonderful time here.” Frey was really happy but a little tired.
“Yeah it was.” Raffie plants a quick kiss on Frey. “What did you end up doing?” He asked.
“I went on a date with Alyja.” Misen replied.
“The goddess Alyja?” Raffie was really surprised.
“That’s the one. We met Voulin and his date Jessica while walking together. So they got to meet her as well.” Misen comments.
“We could’ve met the goddess of love herself if we ran into you two, damn.” Frey sighed in defeat. Her ears and tail dropped. After they finished talking they went to their inn rooms and went to sleep.
Meanwhile, Voulin and Jessica were still out enjoying the night life together. They were in a fancy restaurant enjoying martinis and dessert.
“What did you think of our date? Was it like you pictured?” Voulin asked Jessica.
“Most of it was exactly what I had been waiting for. I can’t say I was expecting to meet a goddess though.” Jessica gave a light chuckle. “Since we both grew up in the nation of Stellarina we weren’t raised with the gods. However, the woman next to Misen was undeniably a god. Though it seemed like she was suppressing her presence. But she still had such a strong presence anyways.”
“You’re right I was skeptical when Misen told me she met Alyja, but now that I’ve seen her with my own eyes I have no choice but to believe her. My instincts were screaming that she was powerful and not one that could be taken on.” Voulin explained. “I wonder if they ran into Frey and Raffie. I know Frey, as a devout follower of the gods, would be overjoyed to meet a god.” He lightly laughed.
“We have one last thing to do before we close out our first date together.” Jessica stated.
“I understand.” Voulin replied. The two leave together after paying for their food and drinks.
Morning struck and Misen woke up without too much of a hangover this time. She just lay in her bed staring at the ceiling.
“I really went on a date with a goddess yesterday didn’t I. I hadn’t really thought about it until now, I fulfilled the wish of, probably a lot of people. She is pretty though. I wonder what the rest of the gods are like. She seemed rather human in her personality. I wonder if I’ll be able to maintain my humanity after living a long life.” Misen was just releasing her thoughts out into the world.
