Their own things to settle

Their own things to settle

She wanted to be home. That was something that Yeram thought to herself as the now 31 year old heir that she saved 15 years ago stood before her. A boy that she treated as a little brother was now a prominent figure in the Plum-blossom sect, someone that owed her his life.

She was being revered by everyone, not just as a genius martial artist but also as some sort of hero. Indeed, even with the passing of Gongsu her return was still as sweet as she expected it to be.

"Miss Yeram! I have brought tea and biscuits from your favorite shop!"

"Lady Yeram, These are gifts from the children down at the training grounds. They really appreciated your visit!" One of the trainers informed her.

"Yeram, your return is truly a blessing. How nostalgic, an old pupil of mine is back looking as beautiful as ever." An old lady praised her. "I feel like I'm a whole decade younger."

Yeram was treated like some sort of noble, people followed her without question. This was the life that she was used to, one that she sought to regain once she returned to the realm of the living. At her own personal quarters, she spent her time drinking tea and enjoying the comforts provided for her.

"Lady Yeram! Lady Yeram! The elders wish to speak with you, with great haste!"

"Indeed! Please follow us!"

Yeram looked up calmly before swiftly standing up. The led her to the main halls of the Plum-blossom territory. Even though the Plum-blossom sect was a larger sect in this reality, they were not a multi-reality sect that held martial artists from all over the multiverse.

The urgent matter that the elders wished to speak with her about, was the matter of bearing a child. To expand the reach of the Plum-blossom sect to more than just a handful of realities, they plan on mixing blood and marrying off their direct disciple with a sect known as the Azure Blade. With both sects benefitting greatly from the exchange.

Nothing was ever free, she would have suffered a similar fate even if she lived through the event that eventually took her life. Female direct disciples were forced to either marry the most gifted disciples or are destined to be used as political pawns.

'But I would still prefer this sort of life over being the slave of a weaker being.' She was only loyal to Travis due to the contract. "He shouldn't have given me the chance to escape, what caged bird wouldn't take the opportunity when the door is open?"

Out of sight, Out of mind. She would ignore the next few messages coming from Travis, messages regarding his plans for the future. She got out through a technicality, while she could do no harm to him she was also only bound to him due to his ability.

She chose to ignore his orders in the chat, since she was never compelled to do his bidding in the first place.

"Is she dead? There hasn't been a reply since we first got here." Travis was worried about his only Gold-grade companion. "Messaging the dead is still an option but there's also the chance that she actively chose to ignore my messages... This isn't the case with Vantak though and if there's anyone that I was suspicious of then it's him..."

"I hope you're still alive. I have enough portals to pick you up and head back into the original reality. For now my plan is to build up a large group for the next two months. If I gather enough Gold-grades then we'll head back to my home realm."

--

"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!!!" Vantak shouted as he ran through a forest.

His control over more than half of his undead was now gone, powerful spellcasters from the other realms have fully invaded the region now. At the moment, Vantak was also on the run from some powerful individuals.

"Oh blessed day! A NECROMANCER, IN THIS NEW REALM?"

"Indeed, Brother Milstan, We can CLEANSE THIS NEW REALITY RIGHT AS WE ARRIVE!"

Two Priests who were being followed by hundreds of soldiers. With each soldier equipped with a blessed weapon. Once again, the hard counters for Vantak was present.

"HAHAHA IT IS A CRUSADE!!!"

"COME BROTHERS! TAKE THE HEAD OF THIS VILE CREATURE!!!"

"DEUS VULT!"

"Hahahah the power of the Light Goddess Litrana shall spread in a new region! Let it be known that this realm will be saved!"

Vantak's escape would be difficult, they could sense his dark mana dozens of kilometers away. Which is why he decided to go for a riskier play. If these light god followers hated anything more than the undead then it's demons. And it just so happens that at the center of Lindburg was a permanent portal straight from the demon realm.

'I can't run to the sewers anymore.. those demon bastards flooded it with molten rock. Great..just great my two weaknesses...Fire and Holy Light magic. I need to get their attention somehow. I can lead them to each other and since they can already track me down... I'll blend in with the demons. It's not the best plan but it's the only one that can get me out of this shitty situation.'

"Master Travis, The situation at Lindburg city has gotten worse. The demons have finally fully taken hold of the city but just as they did so.. A holy crusade from a Helban realm arrived... hundreds of holy soldiers and what I can only assume to be priests at the Gold-grade. I will apologize for the lack of merit points these past few days, but at this point I must retreat. I wish to head west, across the oceans to find a better place to conquer." Vantak sent this message as he mixed in with the demons in the city.

"AHA! THE NECROMANCER WAS A DEMON AFTER ALL!! COME MY BROTHERS!"

"FOR THE GODDESS!"

"We shall avenge the dead humans of this reality! To THE LOCALS! FOLLOW OUR GODDESS FOR YOUR OWN SALVATION! DEUS VULT!"

"DEUS VULT! DEUS VULT! PURGE THESE HERETIC SCUM!"

'Perfect, fight among yourselves you fucking bastards! FAREWELL SCUM OF THE MULTIVERSE!'
