I'm currently Micro Flighting and invisible above the largest mountain on our side of the island; the exact island we had first found ourselves on upon our arrival, the one island—out of the four that are all a part of the island known as Quadholm—which is positioned closest to our Pangea, the one… well, you get the idea.
Hence, it shall be known as; WestHolm.
Each of the four mini-islands are about 87.5 kilometers long and wide; which means, bizarre and unnatural as it may be, that all four are almost equal in size and shape. The Dwarves occupy the southern island while the Elves occupy the east. Us three races have since this morning agreed on a mutually beneficial alliance that shall hopefully last forever... Hope being the key here.
I observe the flat mountain top from my bird's eye point of view, it is maybe 10… 15 kilometers in diameter. Tallest and widest when compared to any nearby similarly flat-topped mountains that clutters our side of the island. It shall suffice… that is, after I clear out that nest of large birds. Inspect!'

Roc Falcon lv 45
They have the sharp mean looks of a predatory bird bettered only by their grand proportions. One is approximately larger than a standard truck, with a body length of about 6 meters long. Their impressive wings; span approximately 16 meters from one tip to the other. How is it even possible for a bird that big to fly? There are a total of four adult Roc Falcons and five juvenile variants; all five, each levels 37, 38, 40, 40 and 41.
With such sizes! These predators would be the perfect mounts, that is if we do not have the option of getting a Greater Anima familiar, and assuming that they are not too wild to be tamed. Still, I find the thoughts of having such majestic creatures as mounts appealing, countered by the thoughts of having to feed them, and of having to clean their wastes. Yet, some people may still prefer owning actual live animals rather than spirit familiars.
Ah well, I now find the idea of killing all nine distasteful. But nothing is stopping me from convincing them to leave. Right? As a warning shot and intimidation attempt, I fed the Beam Torrent on my left shoulder 100 points of mana and shot a gatling of beams down towards an unoccupied space, aiming as close as possible to the four adult birds. At the same time turning visible and dispelling Micro Flight. I hope this scares them off.
Unaware of my merciful thoughts, two of the larger adults lifts off on a beeline towards me. They are fast, faster than what should be logically possible given their size and from how often they flap their wings. Maybe they're super light… As one of my parallel minds ponders on unimportant theories, another takes hold of the three Magico Disks I had had, maneuvering all three out of my pouch and using them as a single unit; by making them orbit around a focal point positioned on the empty space in between the trio. This doubles their width and allows me to manipulate all three with one line of thought. Plus, an additional hundred mana for an overall boost in performance and off they go!
The disks is aimed at the back of the front most bird, while I shoot at the other with small lightning beams. The beams simply seep into its target, giving tiny rapid jolts of electricity and giving the gigantic avian severe spasms. The disc-trio, on the other hand, slams into its intended target and pierces straight through its tough feather, through its body and out the other side. Both died from the attacks… uh… either they are weaker than they look or my magic is much more powerful than I think.
I chide myself, should've gone easier on them. There is truly no medicine for regret! Though, on a fortunate note, I witness the last seven Roc Falcons fly away at the sights of their fallen. Internally, I pray for the off chance that they do not end up hating all humans.
Nonetheless, I land and claim their land.
Rank 5 Mana Tower; price in the 11 digits, a little less than 34.18 billion Creds to be more specific. Even with the better part of two months worth of sales, I can only afford a tower one rank higher than my previous. 'Confirm purchase!'
A instantaneous tremor can be felt, so faint it might be a figment of my imagination. Even so, more out of reflex than need, I turn my head to scan for threats. Nothing around beside the grass, the earth, the wind, and the Tower I had just purchased… It had materialized out of nowhere, that will never get old. Confidently, I stride in through its open doors.
First of all, I link my Mana Sense with my Tower's, increasing the skill's range of effect by 38 kilometers—at above ground level and through air—in a radius around us. That amazingly means; as much as 85% of the whole of WestHolm is under my observation. There are more of the Roc Falcons, as well as several other more generic fantasy-esque creatures; the Horned Rabbits and winged snakes, for example.
While I'm at it; I changed my new Tower buff's AoE settings to focus regeneration bonus in the Tower itself and through any underground tunnel that connects with its—yet to be constructed—mines. but, I allow it to continue emitting a very thin stream of mana to as far as it is capable of, so my Mana Sense may continue attaining its current impressive range when the need arises. Unfortunately, excluding one to control my body and general functions, including use of all three extra-parallel minds, I can barely keep a rough track of such massive amounts of sensory input.

No threat can be detected for the immediate future. Mana Sense unlinked, I proceed on to the next plan. With 1 room on the ground floor and 6 each, above and below; for a total of 13 rooms. I plan to leave the upper floor for defense and when necessary; decoy, while taking inspiration from the dwarves by developing our actual territory underground.
First of all, moving the Tower Core to the lowest basement 6, along with purchasing and stationing of a Rank 4 Territory Core and a similarly Ranked LeyLink Gate—as I currently cannot afford anything higher—both together is a total of 6,815,780,000 Creds…
On second thoughts, after observing my work, the LeyLink Gate shall stay here while both Cores shall be moved to the floor above; basement 5. As I assume that there will be increasingly numerous traffic on this lowest floor.
Zen: It tis' done milord!
Zen: This humble one awaits thy much desired arrival.
Zen: I beseech thee, bless us with thy presence!
Zen: OH GREAT ONE! Why doth thee disregard me!!
Henry: Shut up!
Henry: SILENCE MUGGLE!
I was gonna keep going, but for that oot second reply, I'll allow it. I leave the gate room and ascend the stairs, next in line; defense! Henry's penchant for experiments had somehow allowed him to stumble upon the knowledge that a Mana Tower may substitute as an extra caster for a siege spell, though it may never lead one. I am currently standing before the Tower's exit to get a look at the surrounding land.
So, plan is! I shall build more of the cheaper Mana Towers that will allow a few select people to cast one of them massive spells alone; Internally, I am evil laughing at the idea. "Muahahahaha"
"Whats making you so happy?" Henry asks from behind me.
Startled, I blurt out. "I'm not!"
"There has got to be a reason why you're laughing like an evil scientist that either had a plan go well or had gone further down the crazy lane."
Oh, that was out loud? "I wasn't, don't daydream man!"
He shrugs, "fine. So, whats the plan?" Have I mentioned how convinient it is to have four individual perfectly functional hive-mind-like thoughts. As I explain to him my plans, I observe and calculate which Mana Tower and its upgrades I am to get for my Sic'em with siege spells territory defenses plan I can afford with my budget of 3 billion something Creds.
A tier 3 mana tower for 206,686,000 has 40% of its owner's offensive and defensive capability, it may hold 7 spells and has 9 rooms total; one of which will house its Core and, tentatively, an extra LeyLink Gate. Hence, on the 8 free useable room, I plan to get a Tier 2 Room of Amplification and/or Fortitude, which occupies a whole room each, and respectively boosts the Tower's offensive or defensive capabilities by an additional 15% of its owner's; they are at exactly half the cost of a similarly Ranked Mana Tower. Which is more important, Offense or defense? Hmm~
For now, and until I know better, a mix of both. So, Tier 3 Mana Tower, eight Tier 2 room upgrades; 5 Amplification and 3 Fortifications, and a Tier 2 LeyLink Gate. Total of 222,611,000 Creds each, multiply that by ten and I spent an extra 2,226,110,000 to complete our defenses. Leaving me with a tiny bit more than 1.1 billion Creds. All ten are each positioned strategically on the mountain peak, roughly encircling my Rank 5 Tower.
Oh, almost forgot! Hastily opening the store to spend 10,000 Creds for establishing my territory; QuadPeak's first 1 kilometer square Safe Zone. Now, All ten of the lesser ranked tower has its core on the lowest floor, while on its third lowest, a tunnel that connects with the Main Tower is made. For the seven spells they can memorize; there are the three siege spells I know of, then Beam Torrent and VLoS, two slots are left empty for now.
The same 5 spells are provided on the 11 slotted main Tower, in addition to Conjure Trilattic Swarm, Conjure Water, Unsoil and Light; the last four spells are available for use by anyone within reach of the Tower's mana by simply calling 'tower' followed by the spell's name. All members of Rumah's council, my family, Kirana and Roy are given extra access; they have priority and may use any spell available in the exact same way.
Perfection! Nah~ not really, but I like it!
There after, the crafters of Rumah would come enmass to help excavate, secure and extend the mine below QuadPeak. Kirana's and mine family decided to live here from now on; them because they got attached, and mine because they like the islandish ambience... Can't blame them as I understand perfectly.
Another day passes, the lowest floor of Apexto, temporarily named as such because referring to it as Main Tower was getting tedious, has successfully been organized, excavated, and compressed to create various accommodations and necessities. Only a few more days before they begin mining around and down to look for earthly resources.

I dust my hands after another mouthful of two shrunken down level 5 Earl Vespas… everything seems to be going fine at QuadPeak and Rumah, so I once more find myself preparing to depart. There is still a supercontinent to explore, and hopefully unite… In the short term, a trio of merry sword practitioners to find and befriend back in China.
With a grin, I enter my Gate, finding myself back at the one makeshift underground base in China. Whatever am I to do with this one?
