Wind Arrow - Peak. Apprentice rank. 15mp / cast, Variable. The winds hate taking shape, but love the rush and taste of freedom. Manifest an arrow of wind to fire at a target. The arrow rotates to allow for better piercing. The winds will apply a slight course correction to hit targets. Multiple wind arrows may be summoned for half mana cost each. Each additional mana at half the cost may also be used to multiply the size of each arrow.
Beam Torrent - Early. Journeyman rank. Incomplete spell, upto Early only. Manifest a 24 centimeters diameter cylinder onto a hand of your choice, the construct maintains its existence by absorbing ambient mana. Its far-end holds 29 gun barrels while its other end will form-fit onto your arm, infuse mana into the handle within to fuel the Latent Framework embedded into the gatling gun to shoot a torrent of beams in your selected element.
Accelerated Thoughts - Early. Journeyman rank. Incomplete spell, upto Early only. Flood your mind with time attuned mana to boost thought speed by a percentage that scales with your magical prowess.
Blink - Basic. Journeyman rank. 60 mana / Tunnel. Here one blink, there in another. Create a makeshift one-way spatial tunnel through Subspace between your current location and another location visible to you, it will transport you exactly as you are to the target location upon use. Your improved spatial sensitivity gives you a modicum of free movement within the Subspace, allowing you to reorientate yourselves while within.
Spacial Notice. You're among the few fastest sentient to have successfully noticed the existence of several different subspaces, spacial congratulations! May you grow even more spacial.
Spatial Intuition. If you're doing spatial magic, trust your instincts! For you have, one way or another, formed an infinitely thin sliver of a bond with The Archive, this bond allows you to take a microsecond peek at knowledge pertaining to Space every once in a while.
Nice! One can never have too many spells, though it's unfortunate that Accelerate Thought is incomplete. That new title and skill is probably why I somehow knew that the third Subspace was usable for what I wanted, which was to teleport a short distance. but I'm one among the few, huh, wonder how the others came to stumble upon the knowledge.
My mana has recovered by now. So, unwilling to keep myself in check, at least for a long while tonight, I played around with Blink while Sneaking—just to keep my noises down. I loved every moment of it! If only the spell is not so mana intensive as I eventually had to stop at half mana, on a just in case basis.
I spend the rest of the night keeping watch and implementing failsafes on VLoS—this one by imprinting my Mana Signature into the spell so the Lord would recognize me no matter who casts the spell. And on Latent Coating, permanent-peak-v3 versions of Magico disks, as well as both Will-o spells by giving their Cores or Latent Framework—and in Coating's case the whole liquid coating—a back door access, a mana imprint seed, like Beam Torrent.
The same goes for Conjure Trilattic Swarm, I figured the previous version lacks control and is way too obvious. Lastly, I had to give Snatch'a Soul-inator a core that ends up manifesting on its first limb, then give it the seed. All these changes, besides the previous masteries of Magico Disk, are updates of their early mastery. Then it's just requesting The System Store to send update notifications. Unfortunately, I could not change the earlier versions of Magico Disk without affecting its mana cost.
'Inspect, thanks. Skip the incomplete part please.' I had forgotten to check Snatch'a.

Snatch-a Soul-inator - Early. Expert rank. 65 mana / cast, variable. Forms a construct consisting of one Cored and two uncored segment in artificial skin as an extension of your hand. Each segment of the construct may be one rigid extendable limb-like part or a five flexible finger-like construct, they are connected one to another by ball bearings. Additional segments may be formed with additional mana. The spell exist both in reality and within the MindScape, allowing it to interact and capture a soul.
'The sell prompt please.'
Would you like to make Beam Torrent available on the CredStore?
'No.' Will keep it to myself for now. Soon, it was time to switch guard duty, so I woke my dad up and got some sleep.

As the sun rises, I find myself standing before a table filled to the brim with everything I had stored within my repository. Various foods and beverages, a few potions, 70 infused cubes–I did not forget about—and the Artisan's Durable Carver. I had to attempt to recast my Novice Repository and hope it grows in capacity from the four cubic centimeters it is now to accommodate the various tools the Tenolo twins believe they will need.
Recasting the spell with my current knowledge of spatial magic, and maybe in addition to my Trilattic Swarm Mod, allowed me to upgrade my spell mastery, not once, not twice. But from Early, all the way to its Intermediate mastery. You see~, during casting, the spell felt off, like it's reaching too far into the void, so I followed my insti—intuition and made it use the nearest Subspace instead, this led to that… and so, 'Inspect!'
** DING **
Novice Repository - Intermediate. Novice rank. Variable mana. You can't look fashionable carrying a massive bag of supplies on your back. [Early]. Your repository now resides within the proper Subspace. Creating 0.2 cubic meter repository storage for every fifty mana invested in the cast. The Repository's shape may be freely modified to better separate sensitive objects. Your Mastery of the Repository allows you to create perfectly isolated storage and maintain ease of access.
Mentally enquiring about the word Early in brackets shows the Inspect entries for its early mastery, which has quite the difference. The spell feels more like a sister spell to its Early mastery than mere upgrades, in the way my Repository feels more familiar and infinitely closer, as well as in the way our mana affects its size. And so, by spending 800 mana and making use of the mod—which is what I assume to be the reason I skipped over two masteries, I end up with more than twice my previous Repository size.
It still took the engineer twins a while before they managed to select the tools they could bring along. This process involved an awful lot of grumbling and plenty of encouragement by Mini—or maybe they were grumbling because of Mini's non-stop chatters.
A few hours before noon, we managed to depart for Garuda Hospital. We passed by the JEC dungeon on our way back. Note to self, come back for it when the three dangerous people are taken care of.
I allowed the others plenty of chances to eliminate hostile creatures along our way, opting to grind Artificial Infusion on stones I shape into cubes, but have stopped having reservations about devouring any hostile creatures they did eliminate. Every little bit of attributes I gain will help me keep us all alive. Though I'm still refraining from assimilating any extra organs or biological functions, wouldn't want to turn myself into a monster now. Fortunately for me, a devourling has quite the tolerant tastebud, and a one very robust, very spacious digestion.
Anything I can get into my mouth, I can swallow. Various Birds, Rats, Vespas, Mosquitoes, flies, even Roaches, everything, if it means I get stronger and more capable of protecting my families and friends. Helps that Mini would cheer on me everytime I'm devouring a kill.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
My past trip to Kedoya only took me approximately seven or so hours, in between walking the 20 plus kilometers distance and the brief enemy encounters. But on our way back, slowed by elders and children, as well as all the fights and my act of devouring as much as possible. We ended up needing to camp when the days turned dark, only a little more than half way through the journey.
In order to provide adequate safety and comfort, we stopped on the ruins of a decently large house. Where I proceed to spend the next thirty minutes or so playing Minecraft in real life using Shape Stone and Mold Earth to create a half underground base. A simple downwards tunnel 1 wide and 2 meters tall that slopes down at a comfortable angle before slightly sloping back upwards, then a small two by three meters common room that leads to three other similar sized bedrooms, any loose concrete is fused with its surroundings. It's decent enough for seven people, and one good thing out of this setting is that having only one path for entry and exit makes keeping watch easier. I built a fire with ignite and several broken pieces of furniture, created a number of narrow chimneys above it that led to different exit points and claimed one corner of the common room to settle down. 'Updates please.'

Not much skill level ups as I barely fought anything this journey. Yet, I'm very grateful, a level in SYMPHONY, yes please! And yet again, unlike the small growths in my skill levels, my attributs experience incredible increases in growth, about 33 levels worth. Not to mention we're merely traveling, not purposely grinding for kill experience. This method of attributes improvements are infinitely much faster than leveling up. As I've mentioned, it's very addictive.
Though, now that I've experienced more actively devouring everything, there is no way those three man-eaters have had their Devourling Constitution for more than a few days, otherwise, they would've kicked my butt and every single piece of me to outer space, as grounded meat. 'Status, thanks.'

That's a big difference compared to what it was previously, more and improved spells and skills, much better attributes. And only after two level ups too, not to mention the freedom of use I get with my mana. I made the right choice with both my System Points, gonna keep the last one for later.
I had been chatting with everyone and offered to keep watch so the others could get some rest while I scrutinized my status. It kinda felt like my mind's capacity has slightly expanded, but no such confirmation from my Parallel Thoughts skill level.
I spend time getting myself familiar with the significant increase in my physical prowess, lifting rubbles and doing various activities like pushups, situps and the likes. Everything felt easy, which is not a good measure of my current physical capabilities. I guess it was a bit of a lucky coincidence that the increase happens gradually over the hours as my digestion processes the food during our journey, otherwise, I would find myself having to relearn how to walk, as trying to jump and run had me crashing onto the ceilings or walls most of the time. Took me a few hours and several questions of are you okay before I once again have decent control of my movements.
Another change I can feel as the night grows deep is that I do not feel a need for sleep, so, I decided to keep watch all night long whilst getting all the more familiar with my improved attributes through various exercises. By the time the sun arose. I had grown bored of the exercises and had been experimenting and pondering on my known spells, mostly Ignite, on account of the fire I have been nursing.
