"Everybody who is in favor of making a flying boat, raise your hand." Billy announces. There are about 15 people present; Tenolo Twins, hero-auntie aka Tinknomagus from the hero team, Agus, Henry, Billy, Eabroni who is a big fan of Hephaestus, several Dwarven experts or representatives of the various factions, and lastly, me. This is a big thing after all and everyone needs to be involved, needless to say there will be more people involved with making the vehicle, but these 15 are the ones making the decisions.
A flying boat is pretty standard. So far we have voted on; a flying amphibious bus, a flying floating mansion, an amphibious airbus, a flying train-submarine and a mecha… Yes, like Gundam! Though maybe all much larger than their original counterparts, even the mecha. As for why everything is flying and amphibious something, and needs to be large. Well, It's because we also kinda agreed that the vehicle needs to be multi-terrain and self-sustaining for about, say, 100 people. We will need space for the people themselves and a small garden at least, fresh produce is probably important for psychological reasons. Maybe a bit of open space too.
A flying boat is cliché, but not all that bad. I raise my hands up to give it a vote; "7, 8, 9 votes! Thank you, please lower your hands. Next up, a flying giant turtle!"
Must be Agus's. he's a little obsessed since finding out that a Torterrene is some kinda giant turtle or tortoise. I raise my hands; it's not bad, the shell will give us plenty of space to work with… 13 votes out of 15, presumably the majority agrees with me, as it has the most votes so far. Someone noted that down and Billy continues down the short list. "Second last, a floating island, anyone?"
My hand shoots up within a fraction of a second, this one was my idea! 11 hands voted for, and I cannot help but try to influence the result. "Come on guys! That thing will have enough space to accommodate our needs, and it can land on the sea to camouflage as a real island!"
"Yeh, but it canna walk!" Atech said, killing my idea as several more hands fall down instead. Darn it! But he's got a point.
"Too bad Zen," Billy patted my shoulder with pity. "Last one ladies and gentlemen; a reverse planet!"
Nobody pushed their hand up, rather, I don't think anyone understands what in the world that is. Until someone asks, "whose idea was that? Care to explain?"
"Mine. Allow me," Tinknomagus admitted in her serious macho auntie voice. "Imagine for a second; on a planet, we live on its outer surface. Right! So on a reverse planet, we live on the inner part of its surface. The outer surface will be made of hyper durable material that will be capable of withstanding intense wear and tear while we live safely on the inside. There will be enough space for all our needs if we replicate gravity by making the inner layer spin, and by making all doors airtight, it may travel through any terrains. It will be a masterpiece!"
Some people voted for after the explanations, though nowhere as much as the turtle. I Sense the moment Eabroni opens his mouth to speak, "maintaining the spin would take a lot of energy, though some gravity enchantments would easily replace that. What I am concerned about is how durable it will be with a large hollow interior, how do you plan to have it move on each terrain, and how as a plain sphere; the thing will draw in a lot of unwanted attention. A giant turtle—assuming it is adequately realistic—most creatures would probably stay away from. As for an island, wanting to approach and explore the island would be a common choice, explore not destroy. A smooth perfect sphere on the other hand, anyone would wanna pry it open and see what's inside."
"... I can imagine that." Tinknomagus speaks with a neutral tone. "So, turtle?"
"Guys, what's stopping us from combining the various options?" I say quickly before more people agreed to end the discussion.
"Ah' like da' way ya' think, boy!" Atech chuckled loudly. While his twin requests for me to elaborate. So I obliged.
"First of all, the basic form will be that of a turtle, but what is stopping us from applying the reversed planet concept anyway. Gravity enchantments should be easy right?! No? Well I'm sure we can apply the enchantment on areas that require large open spaces, or to more effectively use a hard to make object; like a 360 garden or something, or a 360 farm with an artificial sun placed on the center… if the turtle happen to have an island shell, well, that would be nice too; maybe have a small forest atop its shell." I stop to give my audience some time for the idea to sink in, "and. Having several different sized transportation aboard might also be a good thing. Giant octopus attack, BAM! Giant robots come out of the massive turtle to slay it! Submarine or a fighter jet to scout the area and stuff like that. Drones!"
"Ah' like da' way ya' think, boy!" Atech said again.
"Me too!" Tinknomagus agrees cooly. The two turn to look at each other, a slightly malnourished looking guy and a lady that is the epitome of fitness makes eye contact. There might have been something of a spark there, but I ain't pryin'.

We are separated into various departments, such as; alloy R&D, weapons team, defense department, human resources, and plenty others. I'm delegated to the chassis production team. It's gonna be massive and having the most durable base possible is very important.
The days pass in a flurry of activity; the rest of today was spent drafting the best possible form. The next day, a friday; numerous teams and I were sent down into Tail Town to harvest a lot, trust me when I said a lot, of Tail Bone. It was dreadfully mind numbing, Soften, harvest the section, Lesser Heal, work. I kinda pity the creature but we figure if nature deems its skeleton strong enough to withstand its incredibly massive size, we can reliably use the same bone for something much smaller. The only sign of it noticing our presence being numerous Quagxyte attack, unfortunately for it, they are a mere joke now with Incarnation of War becoming known.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Our turtle's shell alone will be about the size of old world Tangerang; at about 15 kilometers in diameter, this will give us multiple times that of space with its height of about another 7 kilometers. Nothing compared to a planet sized tortoise, but we gotta start somewhere right. Even then, the material required is immense. Soften, harvest area, Lesser Heal—Rinse and repeat.

Spell mastery rank up, Soften Intermediate > Advanced
There are about 5 - 8 Quagxyte attacks in a day, and as much as hundreds of them each time. The numbers really add up after 7 days, not that the rewards are all that much compared to the effort, with them being mere level one creatures. And as far as fabricating Mana Cores go this past week, I only managed to produce 7 of the Core-9000 variants. The rest of my mana spent one way or another on making the chassis. Of course, all that effort pays off in the form of getting stuff done and that one mastery upgrade; where I may now cast the spell through a media—an object of some sort, in this case a tool—which cuts the process down from a three step process into two. This further increased the speed of my bone harvesting.
Alrighty, so new week, refreshed devour quota and still working on boosting Intelligence. Harvesting and working with bone while following a blueprint, or as termed by The System, a design plan earned me two new skills. The latter was something of a joke I made; reading one 3 dimensional blueprint of a massive construct is no easy matter, and I had complained something about how a Skill to make this increasingly easier should exist… and viola! It does make the act increasingly easier, how does that work? How do Skills work?
Beside that, there are the usual combat Skills leveling up from use, and the same goes with several of my passive skills. As for Teach, because teaching people how to better use Soften will make our job finish faster in the long run. It is amazing how eager people are to receive free magical education. Lastly, Spatial Intuition probably affects not just my understanding of spatial Spells, rather the Skills range of influence include my spatial awareness and intelligence. As the chassis is made of multiple bus - house sized parts, that will be put together—screwed, ball & socket, and/or various forms of joints—Spatial Intuition helped an awful lot with making sure all the joints are a tight fit with each other.
I also find it interesting to note that Mental Resistance have stopped rising at 15, even with the presence of several Vampires who are involved in the project. Might be a hostile or friendly kinda situation, in addition to having it at an adequate level.
"Ah'rite. Let's ged' dis bad boy assembled." Atech yelled… This weeks worth of multicasting Knead Bone, Bend Metal and Shape Stone all culminates into one of the vehicle-gonnabe turtle's leg. Though Agus would argue I was not multicasting, instead just synchronised casting with my own self.
This thing is maybe 10 kilometers in length total, separated into two segments and some special fingers. Imagine a modified elephant's leg, without the nails; first a shoulder joint that will be partly inside of the shell, the upper arm, then an elbow joint, followed by the rest of its leg that will contact with the ground. On this lower arm and near to the ground, a belt is wound around the leg—its fingers, so to say—where we can attach and detach tools as necessitated. It may be a turtle visually but we're applying our own designs. This thing is made wholly out of torterrene bone intricately coated with the most durable mix of metal we can get our hands on. It's built to be tough!
To begin with, both segments are just interconnecting beams of Torterrene bone that form a much larger bone; they are mostly attached with a mix of tongue & groove, screws, and ball joints or any combination of the above to lock it securely in place. The hinge joints are made of hydraulic powered robotic joints that can move in all directions; all I got from their explanations was that it is made of multiple single directional joints that come together to give it its full range of motion… Conclusion, I just do what Atech instructs me to do; this goes in here, and that one over there. Yep! Shrink Touch is a blessing in regards to assembling this monstrous thing; parts can be shrunken, inserted into its designated location and be left to grow into where it belongs.
"Its beautiful!" Atech yells with sparkling eyes, his twin's eyes are just as shiny. Tinknomagus has a proud look on her face, as do most of us. I personally can feel the wide grin starting to give my cheeks cramps. This was complicated and back breaking work. Now only 3 more of this to go, then the torso, then its head and tail. Oh boy!
