The darkness still behaved like always consuming everything that entered its Domain.

The darkness didn't know what emotions were it just devoured everything it could inside its Domain as this was its purpose, this was why it existed until something that never happened before transpired.

Like always a spec of light appeared and after sensing it the mysterious Darkness tried to devour it, but this time that spec of light appeared in the vicinity of the white sun and was assimilated by it instead.

The Darkness was confused where it's meal went but couldn't sense that white sun at all, so it resumed its duty, to wait for something to appear and devour it.

The consciousness didn't know what happened, but it felt that it became stronger and remembered some things but those things it remembered were not his memories instead they were from someone else.

They were the memories of that spec of light, whose existence the white sun instinctively devoured.

As it went through those memories it realized this being it just devoured was old, not as old as itself but about 3 million years old and all that time it wasn't in that black space it just recently arrived here.

The consciousness went through those memories again and again until he learned everything it could.

So it trained its soul senses like in the method of that existence described and soon after, that consciousness was able to sense its surroundings.

But to it's disappointment everything was still dark, it began to curse that useless technique but after looking at its own body and how it fought back that darkness, a realization hit it.

That darkness blocked its senses, but in sensed something else, something that let it experience emotions of happiness and hope that it hadn't felt since an eternity.

Its body was growing, it was so little that it would be impossible to see with the naked eyes, but with its senses it felt it.

And it wasn't only growing, it also pushed away that darkness in its vicinity.

The feeling of helplessness was gone.

It felt a multitude of different emotions swelling inside it.

The hopelessness it felt since a long time ago was gone.

If it could, it would have cried out loud in happiness since it knew if it could grow and push back the darkness than one day the darkness would be replaced by it and maybe it could leave that place.
