S1 Sendoff Note

And so...we've done it. Thousands of pages after, a lot of adventures and plots unraveled, the end of the first book (season) is done. Thank every single one of you who reached this point and are reading this, as this has been a long 2-year journey of writing this. There are surely a lot of improvements to be made, for sure, but that's not to say that there hasn't been a long way done over the time I was writing. With the feedback I got, it was a blast rereading and in some cases rewriting some things to polish them as well, as the feeling of physically seeing that improvement right then and there only helped my morale keep going! Especially because I knew that this also meant that the delivery of a better perspective and story was there for me as well as everyone else who chose to stay and read through it!

But enough about the feels! I've shared them in previous A/N entries along with my excitement, and I'm sure and very well aware that some of you want to know "Where is the story going after such a handkerchief?!"

To answer briefly (without spoiling): The story will continue and expand to the rest of the world, as there's way more story still, and much more that I want to tell. Although do be prepared, because there will be darker moments ahead, albeit with more smiles after.

But that said, despite the support in the dms/comments/reviews/ratings, stepping back, for now, is something I really want to do, along with my editor. Although we will keep retracing and perfecting the existing plot...new plot writing, despite the structure of it being there is rough right now. Like I've previously said, there's a lot left undone irl if I want to pick up another 2 year or so journey to make Season/Book 2 so...yeah.

This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.

This was merely a pilot to do a check for myself, making sure that there was not a massive skill issue to take something like this on. Seeing that it was semi-successful does make me happy, as I think I delivered most of everything I wanted for a Season/Book 1 pilot, with the world setting, character establishment etc., does make me consider doing this sooner than it'd probably be best for...still, there's much more feedback I'd like to check up on first, see if it's actually to the point of considering going for a second round at it. This is a massive project after all, and I'd hate nothing more than managing to screw something up for it, especially after working on it for so long.

For now though, even though the irl block has been real for consistent posting the last few chapters, it's honestly best to back out for a bit indeed. To when and wherever the story is to continue, I'll keep you posted. Oh, and don't forget to check the OST posted over on YT via the embed at the end of "Epilogue: Failing, Falling" as well! The process of getting to actually make that entire thing was super fun, and I really think it delivered!

That said, I’m still craving to hear what everyone has to say!

So go ahead, Rate us, Review us, give us all the feedback you possibly can, especially now that you reached the end of Season 1! Both me and my editor obviously aren’t planning to stop this indefinitely, and your honest feedback will only lead to improvements!

And so, with everything said and done…here’s a very last message to those reading and craving to see more of this world: Thank you for your support, feedback, and interest in the story! Hope to see you again when the adventure is to finally continue!"

P.S. Don't worry, I always keep this page in check. Any reviews, ratings, dms, or otherwise, I always keep an eye on. Anything you say is never kept unheard!

Goodbye from me for now!
