Moyo woke up to his body at peace, he hadn’t noticed all the time he had been hopping around an entire galaxy like some powerful cosmic entity, which he was, if he actually thought of it. He blinked, staring at the gold and marble ceiling of his room, aware of everything around him, within his planet as well. He could see Martha and his clan leaders within a room that looked more like a war room, poring over maps, he could feel the beacon of his aspect that illuminated his planet to the entire Archailect like a watchtower of some sort.
He could see Ajax with Josh, raising his eyebrow at what looked like Ajax training the leader of his Shieldborne in battle, going up against Josh and the three Shieldborne commanders. He saw close to fifty ascenders, all watching in rapt silence as their eyes sought to match the speed and ferocity with which Ajax and Josh went at it. Whatever deal Josh struck with Ajax, it was his business, Moyo wouldn’t interfere with it, he had his own issues to deal with, namely his Hud.
He gave a light sigh, and with trepidation, opened his Hud up, wincing as the notifications began to pour out in their hundred. Notifications of injuries both fatal and light, ranking up of old skills he knew he had lost, still he waited, removing the ones he didn’t need till he got to the main ones.

He took a shuddering breath as his body finally pulsed with the finality of the power that burned within him, wondering if all primordials had maxed out stats like this. He doubted it, and it scared him, pausing as he was about to get up, realization dawning on his face.
He felt unworthy.
It had been the prime aspect, that burning power of creation that had fused with his aspect to push him to the top of the ladder. Closing his eyes as he steadied himself, he could feel and see Ashira making her way to his room, unsure of what his reaction should be. He allowed her to see him awake, the Chimera pausing at the door, eyes wide.
“you’re awake,” she said, almost in a whisper.
He nodded mutely.
“I’ve been asleep for two days straight while the Archailect burns, someone should have woken me up” he replied.
“How did you know?” she asked.
He raised one finger, rolling it in the air.
“Something about my domain lets me know the passage of time” he replied as he got to his feet.

His skin shimmering, and was that Aserite he could see?, the name of his body finally made sense as he walked towards the balcony, staring down towards the sprawling landscape in front of him. Watching as large war vessels took to the skies, joining the ever-increasing security around his system, he felt Ashira at his side, wrapping his arms around her.
“Well?” she asked.
He snorted.
“You don’t want to see my stats, I assure you” he replied as she rolled her eyes.
“What crazy upgrade did you get this time?” she asked.
He just kept quiet, sending it to her as she froze, eyes going through it all before keeping quiet again. She sighed after a while.
“Remember when we were just a bunch of golds running around and causing havoc?’ she asked.
He gave a light chuckle.
“Those were the good days, the Archailect was open before us, the skies were the limit and we just wanted to get stronger” he murmured.
“And now you have it all, all the strength you could possibly need to protect your house, your planet, even Gaia,” she said.
“It won’t matter if Azael comes for it” he murmured.
Ashira glanced up at him, smiling.
“can’t you feel it?, I thought you could sense everything within your system?” she asked.
Moyo raised an eyebrow, expanding his senses as he froze, eyes wide, Ashira grinning.
“How?” he asked.
“Well, turns out that Matthew, your herald had been scribbling away within his citadel, some runic scripts that took up the whole wall, Martha and Samantha couldn’t figure it out,” Ashira said.
“And it allows us to teleport entire planets through space?” he asked incredulously.
“Works on your aether with Ibere as a focal point for said transfer” she replied.
Moyo blinked.
“I really am that powerful, aren’t I?’ he asked as she gave a light laugh.
“Even primordials would step easy around you now, entire empires are frothing at the mouth to see you or even gain the favor of a single vassal clan of the house,” she said.
And then she briefed him on everything that had happened while he was asleep, the daring plan they had hatched together along with the cooperation of the other primordials still fighting. He nodded.
“Did you all take into account that Azael won’t stand by and allow all these to move successfully?, his very chance at drawing me out of Ibere and you all are throwing a wrench in his plan” Moyo said.
“Yes, the legion has been scattered, each cohort sent to our respective primordial allies” she replied.
“All the more reason I need to be out there, Azael could hit anywhere,” he said.
“True, but he’s been sending his minions, plus system command has reported signs of abyssal energies approaching slowly,” she said grimly.
“Araman seeks to attack the moment Azael does, a risky gambit seeing as Azael wants to consume Araman as well” Moyo replied chuckling.
“About that, could you explain?” she asked.
He carried her as she squeaked
“When we’re all together” he replied as he jumped off the balcony, free-falling without a care in the world.
He landed lightly before activating his [titan walk] skill and distance blurred, snapping back a second later to place him directly within the training area where Ajax was showing Josh and what Moyo assumed were Shieldborne prospects how to disarm a foe with minimal effort. It took them a few seconds to realize he was even there; the entire field quieted down as all except Ajax went on their knees. Moyo waved his hand for them to get up.
“I’m not kneeling to you if that’s what you’re after” Ajax muttered as wide eyes turned to him.
Moyo simply gave a brief smile, turning to a prospect.
“You, what’s your name?” he asked.
The man, a diamond ranker looked frozen, sputtering the answer.
“Ion my lord, ion silver chain” he responded.
Moyo nodded.
“Nice to meet you, ion silver chain, as well as the rest of you,” he said.
Stretching his hand to the pile of rare weapons that were used for practice, he watched the blade fly into his hand as Ashira stood back, watching as Moyo swung the blade twice. It hummed through the air, its swing melodious as ascenders took deep breaths, trembling from the light pressure Moyo had unconsciously released through the weapon. He turned to Josh smiling.
“Rebuilding the Shieldborne, good idea,” he said as Josh inclined his head in appreciation.
“Permit me a few minutes to test my sword skill with your teacher here,” Moyo said with a gleam in his eyes.
“We don’t have time for this,” Ashira said with a sigh.
“there’s always time for a duel between master and disciple, isn’t that right, Ajax omega blade?’ Moyo said.
Ajax chewed on it, eyes locked on Moyo as he stretched his hand out to a blade at his side, the slim but rare and deadly weapon flying into his hand. He gripped it loosely, but Moyo could see the same deadly lethality in his every movement.
“I see you haven’t lost your touch, reaping katana,” he said.
“And you still hold your weapons like a battering rod” Ajax replied.
They both smiled.
“Oh, for your safety, I’d recommend giving us a safe distance,” Ajax said.
“No need, my domain is protected” Moyo murmured as a translucent barrier covered where he and Ajax intended to fight.
No words were said as they both clashed together in waves of intent and raw strength, both had shrouded their cores to diamond, for the benefit of their viewers, but it didn’t really matter to those two, not with their skills with the blade. Attacking and parrying in consecutive attacks, they relied on nothing but raw intent and their minds, Moyo naturally getting the edge with his superior intent. It wasn’t something that he could tone down, it was a part of him, same as Ajax’s slippery nature with the blade, on and on they clashed till the rare weapons cracked and shattered, the real battle beginning then.
The both of them grasped the shattered blades as they attacked with pure intent alone, eyes taking on the very movements of each other as they danced and moved to the reactions of the other. Then they clashed with fists, Ajax stumbling back, eyes wide before Moyo went on the offensive, Ajax dodging and moving with diamond speed as he sought to find a weakness, but he found none.
Moyo’s body was as sturdy as his path, no matter the strike, he weathered it and pushed on, landing blow after blow on Ajax who took them with grim resolve. This wasn’t a bout of anger, this was master and disciple gauging the strength of the other, Moyo cementing his strength into Ajax’s mind. He wasn’t that weakling in a level fifty dungeon, trying to survive, neither was he the diamond that went up against a Scion of a great house and almost died.
He was a titan now, in word and deeds.
He was an immovable wall and an unstoppable weapon of the Archailect, and he showed it to Ajax, watching as every calculation fell short before his raw might. The bout ended with Moyo’s hands pointed straight at the throat of Ajax, intent coating it, Ajax staring down at the hand in question.
“You no longer need a blade,” Ajax said.
“I am the blade” Moyo replied, withdrawing his hand.
He saw the majority of the diamonds seated on the ground; eyes shut as they seemed to be in a trance-like state.
“Just your mere actions are enough to trigger Anshara” Ajax murmured.
Moyo scratched his head, clapping his hands together as the diamonds stood.
“Can anyone of you replicate the feat I just did?, battle Ajax like that?” he asked.
They shuffled, unsure of the answer to give.
“The answer is no, not one of you, and you know why?” he asked.
“No lord” Josh replied.
Moyo glanced at him, smiling as he realized what his Shieldborne was doing.
“Because you’ve been playing by the Archailect’s rules, which is fine, if you’re going to fight your fellow ascender” Moyo replied.
“But against an abyssal creature or one of the Chaosborne?, it would mean your death,” he said bluntly.
“He has the experience,” he said, nodding at Ajax.
“And believe me when I tell you that I do not envy you, I went through what you all you’re about to as an initiate, so I had it worse at his hands,” he said as the diamonds shot hesitant looks at Ajax who smiled grimly.
“It will be tough, agonizing, but if you can come out of the crucible, then I assure you that few ascenders of your ranks going forwards would match you in battle,” he said.
Ajax glanced at him, the both of them sharing a look before Moyo turned away.
“Train hard, train well, the enemies are at our doors, and soon, you’ll be called to battle” he finished as he nodded at Josh, the three Shieldborne commanders bowing to him.
He and Ashira left the area, walking through the large palace as she spoke.
“Does that mean you’ve forgiven him?’ she asked.
“a part of me is tired, I can barely hold the grudge” he replied.
“Truth is, I see where he’s coming from, but it doesn’t excuse his sins and crimes” he continued.
“So what?, a truce?” she said.
“Something like that” Moyo replied as he waved his hand.
A pathway opened up, leading to a dark underground chamber as he stepped in, Ashira with him.
“Where is this?” she asked.
“Apparently, Martha created a prison right below the citadel of the Titan order, it’s here she locked up Rohan” he replied.
They stepped into a large building where the ascenders immediately fell to their knees, muttering words of praise as Moyo steeled his gaze.
“You may do this when I’m not looking, but not when I’m around,” he said.
“I will not be treated like a supreme being” he growled.
The ascenders stood straight.
“Lord, what do you require of us?” a diamond asked.
“I’m here to see the prisoner” Moyo replied, waving his hand as another pathway opened, deeper into the prison.
He and Ashira stepped through, Moyo standing in front of the sarcophagus, the large coffin that had been chained over and over, large chains passing through it, all burning with his aspect. He eyed the structure, Ashira standing with her blade out.
“That's not necessary” he muttered.
“Let me be the judge of that” she replied as he let out a light smile.
Rohan was nothing but a Chaosborne, and a lesser one at that, the only threat he posed to him was simply existing within the same space as he did. He waved his hand, the chains loosening and the coffin opening up, dumping Rohan unceremoniously on the ground, the ascender too weak to even stand.
Rohan struggled to his knees, a weak sardonic smile on his face.
“Well well, the archailects favored s- “was all he said before the same chains wrapped around his throat, raising him upwards as Rohan struggled.
Moyo scratched his ear nonchalantly, uncaring as the chains strangled Rohan, the man trying to coax his chaos core only for Moyos' aspect to snuff it out in a blink, leaving him weaker than a silver ranked expert.
“here’s how this is going to go,” Moyo said softly.
Releasing the chains as Rohan fell to the ground in a heap.
“we’re no longer the same, you’re weak, useless, discarded by Azael,” he said.
“Your cries will not be heard, your insults mean nothing, like really, you don’t want to know why?” Moyo asked as he knelt in front of Rohan.
And then he released it, his aspect, watching as Rohan was pressed into the ground, unable to talk, to move, to even twitch.
“Because nothing you say except what I want to hear has any meaning any longer, now see” he continued.
“I really want to end you, to wipe you from existence, but I can see your lord peeking through your eyes, isn’t that right, Azael?” Moyo whispered.
He had been feeling the link ever since he stepped on his planet, Martha had the right idea to seal him away in darkness, leaving him with his thoughts. Azael couldn’t contact him, and he sure as hell couldn’t kill him due to his aspect interfering between their link, no doubt the reaper of chaos would want to stop him from spilling any secrets.
He could see the sentience in the eyes of Rohan, the otherworld look that ran through Rohan as he shivered with realization, Moyo smiled.
“Ah, there you are, I simply wanted to remind you, reaper,” he said.
“Your fight is with me, and I await your presence, the last citadel won’t fall unless you take me out, but you’re too scared, without Araman to bolster you,” Moyo said.
He stood up, looking down on Rohan.
“Now, GET OUT” he growled.
He willed his planet to expel the presence, Rohan shuddering as the presence left him, leaving him weak and powerless, his core an empty husk. And then the chains came for him wrapping him up as Rohan gave no resistance, only an empty burning hatred in his eyes.
“Think about what you’ve done for a while longer, maybe a century or two will teach you the err of your ways” Moyo finished.
The coffin closed up, sealing Rohan within as he took a deep breath.
“What now?” Ashira asked.
“We prepare as much as we can, something tells me I’ve just hurt the pride of Azael, he’ll rain hell down on us,” Moyo said.
“And we’ll be there to return the favor” Ashira replied.
