Moyo had never felt so free in his entire life, flying through the air before landing nimbly and blitzing right through the black zone, he laughed as he dodged the swipes of monsters too stupid to even realize they were courting death by taking a shot at a master. He could care less though, his skin was hardened to the degree of Aserite, his strength coursing through his muscles, sinews and veins were begging to be unleashed and Moyo could react faster than anything he had been able to pull before and that was saying a lot. He paused as a diamond ranked monster suddenly appeared in front of him.
Tapping his foot expectantly, he folded his arms and raised one eyebrow; a grin on his face as he waited for the monster that looked like a cross between a scorpion and a bat to make the first move. Sighing as it screeched and dove at him with blinding speed, he let the stinger crash on his skin and explode without so much as feeling a thing. The creature was in the process of giving its death throes when dominion moved of its own volition and sliced the creature to perfect dices in less than a second.
He turned to his blade,
“Bloodthirsty much?” he asked,
Dominion gave one flash of glowing purple light before stabbing itself into the pieces of gore and sucked the essence off the creature. Then in a peculiar show of power, it seized the still forming primordial essence of the diamond ranked monster which as it turned it was a dungeon boss before absorbing it also,
“hey!, that was mine” he protested,
Ever since dominion had attained full sentience, its display of power was beginning to seem over the top. True to its name, it brokered no display of authority except that of the titan blade. Still, it was a bit over the top and Moyo had a feeling the blade was still in its teenage phase; a scary thought for a weapon capable of splitting entire planets or continents when he thought about it. Dominion pulsed again and the primordial essence of the creature known as the kabarat stinger appeared in his hand, dominion flicking the blood of the beast that was slowly turning to motes of aether from its pristine blade before returning to the other hand of the titan.
Moyo tucked the essence away appreciatively while tapping dominion warmly, it was his blade after all and its entire devotion was to him and him alone. He glanced in the horizon and with a slight jump, blasted into the air with the speed of a jet, tearing through the clouds before pausing above the black zone. He could see the strongholds of the different wild sects that had the guts to call the black zone their home and while he applauded them, he saw the number of monsters they would be facing including those that assaulted their walls and shook his head.
With a dive; he went straight for the master ranked dungeon that sat on the coast of the continent of Asa. Landing gently, he stared at the dungeon that pulsed with barely restrained power and frowned; should that dungeon break, it would release a flood of master ranked monsters on the continent of Asa, and currently there were no forces strong enough to hold them at bay; no forces except him and Ashira.
It wasn’t lost on him that he was the cause of the master ranked dungeon and even diamond ranked dungeon manifesting. It gave him pause as he thought of the consequences of his actions over time; was he apologetic about it?, hell no, he had grabbed his destiny by the horns and had fought tooth and nail for every bit of power he had gotten, albeit with a bit of luck. However, he also had to consider how that reflected on the average ascender of his planet; simply because he was one of the few who had been lucky enough to get the right combination of skills and training didn’t mean every other ascender had gotten the same privilege. The vast majority of the planet still had to abide to the rules of the archailect, ascension was hard as it is and only those with connections or pure geniuses had even made it to bronze this early. A combination of skills, hard work, connections and smartness had led them to that position and it reflected on how they ran their respective spheres of influence.
The titan blade couldn’t run the clan on a daily basis, not even if his life depended on it, and yet his actions seemed to be having adverse effects for the clan. What if he hadn’t been around when the dungeon broke?, what if he was still galaxies away, trying to stop the invasion of Altera?; so many variables came into play and luck had been the proficient factor in withholding calamities from being wreaked on his world. He once again reviewed his idea about ranking up his clan leaders to silver and wondered if he should take it a step further and take them to gold, just as a stop gap method to ensure the survival of his clan.
He shook his head at the thought, natural order had to be followed, there was a balance to things in the archailect and he could see them clearly now. He was currently staring at the ripple effects of his rapid ascension currently in the form of the master ranked dungeon and he knew he was sitting on a knives edge with every action he took while on Gaia. After fusing with his bloodline ability, he could suddenly feel the entirety of Asa around him; like a pulsing heartbeat he could see everywhere should he put his mind to it, plus the cryptic message from his HUD he couldn’t decipher still hung in his mind.
With a thought he pulled up the notification,
Notice: the titan blade has attained the state of ‘bloodline ascender’ and has been awarded the title: bloodline creator
- The domain of the titan is now linked with his core realm
- The titan has linked his domain to the titan aspect, an extension of the titan in general and would increase with every domain he absorbs
Notice: titan has broken rule number:18856#, drastic measures are being taken to contain the phenomena.
- Hbughjbugjbjhhjbhhdb
- Hhdhujskshsbshhnsksi
Notice: another rule broken, careful there titan – L
He frowned at the message, the undecipherable part and wondered, the name sending shivers down his spine at the possible identity of the being. If it was indeed Lotes as he feared, then Moyo seriously needed to try and keep a low profile; he was too weak and too early to begin to draw the attention of those entities. Whatever rule he broke, he had no idea what it was, but he was sure it was due to his bizarre form of gaining powers, his link with his domain was beginning to show dividends and he had a nagging feeling at the back of his mind that whispered to him that the ability wasn’t one masters were meant to possess.
He shrugged at the thought, masters weren’t meant to acquire bloodline abilities or be able to tap into their personal aspects for that matter, but here he was, a living testimony to the ability. He focused on the location of Ashira and the ascenders who seemed to all have attained silver rank and smiled, the training had paid off. Ashira whipped her head skywards, brow scrunched up in confusion,
“Moyo?” she said to herself,
Moyo opened a pathway straight to her position and stepped through, appearing at her side as she turned to him the moment the pathway and stepping through. The ascenders snapped to their feet at once, bowing to him as one; he nodded at them and turned to Ashira who eyed him expectantly,
“So?” she asked expectantly,
He grinned as his eyes glowed purple, dominion floated next to him and his skin began to draw intricate runes somehow shaped in the intricate letters of the Yoruba language. However, his skin grew noticeably stronger, reality itself being affected as the silvers all took a step back, marvelling at what they were seeing, confusion on their faces.
Ashira grinned as her eyes began to glow green, a most vicious smile on her face,
“Spar?” she asked,
Moyo glanced at the silvers who were frozen on their feet, awe etched on their faces,
“they’d be collateral damage in an instant” he replied,
She frowned, nodding along,
“All our efforts would be wasted” she said,
It took a few seconds for the words of the two masters to sink into their heads, awe transforming to pure terror. Moyo snapped his fingers as a pathway tore open; leading to the citadel of endurance itself,
“Might as well make yourself scarce and enjoy the view” he said,
The silvers scrambled in through the portal with all haste, for in as much as they’d love to view the battle between two masters, they simply weren’t strong enough to survive such, not in the least. The pathway snapped close and Moyo turned to Ashira who produced talon, its green edge corroding reality around it; Moyo winced at the blade, he might had just made the most toxic weapon in the entire archailect,
And the woman he loved adored it, pity she was attempting to use it on him.
He gripped dominion hard, feeling the raw power rampaging through the blade,
“you do realize we can’t go all out on Gaia right?, this world can’t take such brutality” she said,
The question brought a thought to the foe front of his mind,
“Hey, ever heard of the nethervoid?” he asked,
“The what?” she replied,
He nodded,
“Thought as much, probably some ruler tier secret, apparently it’s some alternate dimension where really strong people rampage all they want” he said,
“Oh, we could use one of such now, gold?” she asked,
He nodded,
“Gold it is” he replied as they both shrouded their cores to gold,
Moyo winced, shaking his hand even as dominion protested at the dampening of its power,
“Hard to imagine we were this weak” he said,
She chuckled and blasted towards him, talon swinging in an arc that trailed a most toxic aura. Dominion clashed with it with such force, the two ascenders were pushed backwards; the strike creating a crater right where they had clashed. Moyo’s eyes widened, Ashira pausing also,

“Oops?” she said,
Moyo waved it away dismissively,
“If I’m right, some sect would be stupid enough to want to call it a holy sight, remind me to pass a decree to the clan forbidding such” he replied,
She laughed,
“No blades then?” she asked,
Moyo sighed,
“it’s getting hard to enjoy a good spar the higher we go” he protested,
“Give the titan a medal; you just discovered why masters and rulers rarely come to blows” she replied with a chuckle,
He shook his head and sheathed dominion, Digi aye blazing around him; Ashira frowned as she felt the power,
“that’s going to be a lot to withstand, blasted evolved skill of yours” she grumbled and shot forward as her bloodline ability activated,
Moyo felt the reality infused strength of her punch and smiled, his titan’s might raging with excitement. He caught the punch with his, the resounding bang blowing another crater around them, but the two ascenders were too far gone down the excitement of battle to care. Moyo with his overpowered physical attributes clashing in hand-to-hand combat with a fully manifested bloodline activated member of house Kairos. He weathered every slash, every hit with ease, her claws finding it hard to puncture his skin and those who did unable to drop a single dose of her most lethal poison in his system.
They both separated, neither breathing hard with a grin on their faces, Ashira spoke first,
“you’re a monster” she said,
“Coming from someone whose toxin could literally put down a master after a few cuts” he replied snorting,
She shrugged,
“I’m a member of house Kairos, we’re all monsters remember?” she said,
They glanced around at the now transformed landscape,
“Wow, we really did wreak the area, didn’t we?’ she said as Moyo laughed,
The once flatlands were now made of ridges and hills, small mountains and valleys dotting everywhere they fought. With his Digi aye he could see their auras fusing with the aether in the air,
“Some sect would probably turn this place to their home” Ashira said,
“Why?” he asked,
She glanced at him,
“I’m sure you can see it with that Digi aye of yours, the aura in the air fusing with the aether” she said as he nodded,
“Another reason why masters rarely come to blows is this, whenever they fight, their auras saturate the entire area, turning it into an aether rich zone” she explained,
“That doesn’t sound like a bad thing” Moyo replied,
Ashira nodded,
“And it isn’t, sects and ascenders usually hunt for areas like this to train and get stronger, except for one thing; it draws monsters to the area as well, high ranking monsters who need the aether and aura to survive” she finished,
“diamonds” he replied grimly as she nodded,
“So what do we do?” he asked,
She shrugged,
“Nothing we can do currently than to watch if it attracts monsters, then we end them” she said,
“it’s how the diamonds of house Kairos operate” she said,
He nodded and opened the pathway back to endurance, the silvers filing out and staring around them in shock,
“you guys do realize how lucky you are getting trained by masters as magnificent as we are” Ashira said,
“Magnificent?’ Moyo asked, amusement dancing in his eyes,
Ashira turned to him, hands on her waists, Moyo raised both his hands in surrender, chuckling to himself as she huffed, turning back to the silvers,
“Etch it into your minds and souls, what the titan has done for you would give you all an edge in the coming days, work on it, perfect it, do not waste the time he has sacrificed towards your ascensions” she said,
The ascenders bowed all at once towards the both of them in respect, Moyo rolling his eyes as he clapped his hands, drawing their attentions,
“Good, you ten are now the leaders and runners of a new organization, I literally have no name for you guys, but your mandate and orders are straightforward and clear” he started as they drew themselves to their full height,
“Your sole purpose is to protect Gaia as a whole from external threats, you will eliminate wherever you find them, any who seek to infiltrate and dominate Gaia in the same fashion the evil we’re about to face in the Luminian theocracy has taken” he said,
“Your order or whatever form your group will take will be a tight nit one, the remaining forty ascenders who failed the challenges I placed forth will work under you and will be the first recruits of this new organization” he continued,
“Even now they train under the watchful gaze of my clan members, in preparation for working under you all, that is my only mandate to you, protect Gaia as you would protect your homes” he finished,
The ascenders; Tomasa, Romulus, Yemi, marcel, Vaughn and the rest of the ten knelt in obedience to the titan blade who folded his arms and nodded,
“I believe I have done all that I can to prepare you for such an undertaking, but now, I have issues to deal with on my continent” he said,
“The black zone needs to be cleansed of dungeons from gold rank and above, the silvers and below are still within reason; but the presence of golds and above are subsequently a fault of mine” he continued,
"So here is what will happen, should you choose to participate, your missions are to trail a single group of bronze rankers silently as they clear the bronze ranked dungeons. Should they come across any silver ranked monsters and are incapable of handling them, you will lend a hand discretely, nothing overly flashy and then let the bronze rankers finish the job” he said as they nodded,
“The silver dungeons will be handled by your order and the sect leaders of my clan alone, I once considered involving the delving guild and the green spear sect, but it would only slow down my plans, I intend to raise the sect leaders to peak silver, same as you all” he completed,
“We move in two days’ time?” Ashira asked, glancing at him as he nodded,
“Go, do whatever you need to do and meet us back at this spot two days hence, dismissed” she said as they left, each utilizing their paths in one way or the other to go.
Moyo turned to Ashira,
“We go to clear the diamond ranked monsters and dungeons I believe” he said,
She nodded at him,
“Should be fun, I take the ones to the west and you take the ones to the east” she replied,
With that agreed, Moyo took one step of Ogun and appeared in a monster infested area, golds and diamond monsters all around as they fought for dominance. The golds were ten times the amount of diamonds, preferring to rely on numbers to bring the diamonds down who were few but were laying devastating damage on the golds in heaps. Both sides paused as Moyo appeared in their midst, the aura in the air suddenly filled with pressure as Moyo manifested his realm around him.
The monsters in the same space as where his mountain had suddenly appeared were the first to die, crushed by the mountain manifesting physically in reality. The rest of the monsters threw themselves into a blood frenzy, all rushing towards the titan,
“dominion” he commanded,
The blade flew out of its sheath and began butchering the monsters, ripping flesh from bones and turning the landscape into a gore filled one. Moyo glanced at the dungeons that were producing the monsters and spoke to dominion,
“Have fun here” he said,
The blade gave a pulse of affirmation as he jumped into a gold ranked dungeon and without a second thought, unleashed the strength of his entire aura on the dungeon. All life died within it, crushed by the pure power of the titan who glanced at his HUD, still 501, nothing moved despite the number of creatures he had killed. Master rank had promised to be slow as hell, the same way the climb to diamond had been spoken about; yet still he had surpassed that in record time.
He had a feeling master wouldn’t be the same way, but he suppose he had to at least try and see. With the dungeon cleaned and all the loot absorbed by his vault, he came out to witness motes of aether and essence floating away. Dominion pulsed happily at the amount of essence it had absorbed; he grabbed the blade and threw it into another gold ranked dungeon while he turned to a diamond one and jumped through.
Dominion would come to him when it was done cleansing the last gold dungeon around the area. The diamond dungeon was an aquatic one, the titan floating over the vast seas as gigantic shapes moved below the sea. With no need to breathe any longer, Moyo simply fell like a boulder into the water and blew his aura around, calling the entire monsters of the diamond dungeon to himself. He could feel them rushing towards him and cocked his hand back, fist clenched and releasing his titans might in a wave of pure power that tore through the diamond ranked abominations swimming towards him in a pure display of power.
A loud cry tore from the depths of the sea as hundreds of tentacles shot towards him with diamond ranked speed. Moyo dodged them easily, frowning at the barbed spikes that covered each tentacle of the primordial king Saperra. Grabbing one with his bare hand, he blasted towards the air, breaking out of the ocean that was now coloured blue with the blood of the slain diamond ranked monsters as the king Saperra dangled helplessly around him.
The brown mottled creature that looked more like a tapeworm seen under the lens of a microscope shook futilely around him as he kept going skywards. Dominion passed through the entrance of the dungeon and without a word from Moyo, cleanly sliced off the head of the creature. Moyo threw the body away even as it began to turn to motes of aether and essence, its primordial form appearing just in time for the vault of the titan to open up and snatch the primordial form away into the depths of the realm of the titan.
That taken cared off, Moyo stepped out of the dungeon as it collapsed behind him, glancing at the remaining two diamond dungeons that sat alone in the area. He glanced at the horizon and could see the sects sending scouts out to try and understand what was going on and the sudden disappearance of the monsters that had been pushing their lesser kins to assault the walls of their strongholds. Pushing the thought away, he entered the next one and met giant towering golems who were more like walking destructions with their footsteps thundering their every move,
“Alright this is ridiculous, who creates dungeons like these?” he muttered and unleased his realm along with Digi aye, bringing the golems crashing to their knees as dominion tore through their stone hard skin like a knife through wet tissue, wiping them from existence,
Just as he killed off the last golem, he felt the very ground he stood on shake as he flew skywards, watching with disbelief as the very earth rose out of the waters, becoming a golem itself. The emperor king golem as it was called was a level 510 monster and as it roared, Moyo cocked his hand back, dark purple eyes glowing before he threw the punch, infusing it with his Ashe,
“BREAK” he commanded,
The golem shattered into a hundred pieces, entire chunks of what could no less had been a mountain falling from the skies and crashing into the seas below, causing a tidal wave of tsunami that threatened to drown the dungeon. With haste he tore open his vault as the primordial form of the monster took shape, snatching it away and into his vault before existing the dungeon, the entrance closing behind him.
Heaving a sigh of relief, the last dungeon stood silently and Moyo walked through into it, appearing in a lava filled landscape with mountains that spewed the scalding red liquid in large quantities. Nodding in satisfaction at the mundane look of the dungeon, he glanced at the feline red lava infused creatures that called this dungeon home as they snarled at him.
Without wasting time, he blitzed towards the monsters, ending their existence before they even knew they were dead. In no time he had summarily wiped out the diamond monsters, watching as the largest volcano in the distance shook before an absurdly large feline broke out of its confines, snarling through the air in rage at its slain members.
The HUD informed him of it being a queen lava feline of level 515 and Moyo raised an eyebrow at the monster before unleashing his spiritual form. He had always wanted to test it out, the larger-than-life representation of his path; however, doing it anywhere near civilization might drive the fear of the supreme beings straight through the heart of his people and he couldn’t afford another worship springing up when he had just dealt with the last one.
His spiritual form was in the shape of a large warrior with a blade, eyes glowing purple with red bead on both his neck and wrists. Braided hair falling to his shoulders and a look of deadly calmness exuded from him.
The feline froze and whimpered at the form before attempting to escape, Moyo snorted and willed his spiritual form to move; its blade falling like that of the executioners to cut the feline in two before it could take three steps. Then Moyo watched as the attack split the subsequent mountain, then the land and then reality.
He stared mouth open as the integrity of the dungeon was compromised before hastily leaving the dungeon, stepping out,
“Note to self, do not use your spiritual form unless it is the direst of circumstances” he muttered, the spiritual form having fizzled away,
With the entirety of the area clean, the first of the scouts arrived, eyes wide as they fell to their knees and bowed, no doubt thinking it a blessing to had laid their eyes on the patriarch of the clan and only master of the world.
He took one step of Ogun and left the area, honing in on Ashira’s presence and appearing in a toxin infused field where all the dungeons had been cleaned and the beast of Kairos herself sat while cleaning her blade.
She flicked her eyes to him,
“Done?’ she asked,
“Yes, all that remains is the master ranked dungeon” he replied,
“Do we hit it now?” she asked,
Moyo shook his head,
“No, master ranked dungeons are on another level, that, I’m sure off, we might need to get all the advice we need from those with the experience” he replied,
“Ajax and master Killian?” she asked,
He nodded, he brought up his HUD, already calling them,
“I wonder how they’re doing” he said silently,
