CHAPTER 251

The moment Moyo felt himself materialize within the midst of the abyssal army, dominion and Gegun let off with attacks simultaneously, carving a large swath of the army into nothingness, Josh and his Shieldborne springing into action. A combination of two powerful realms, one of a pseudo primordial and the other of a pseudo ruler in that of Ashira herself, her blade, venom, in hand as she became a blur of deadly poison and ability. The Shieldborne had carved a path for themselves around the creature that had been caught off guard.

It mattered not if they were void wardens or tyrant lords of the respective abyssal factions, they were cut down all the same, Aetherblasters, blunt and even sharp weapons going to work all around. Moyo though had his sights on the first of the lieutenants as Ogun’s step took him directly in front of the abyssal fiend sworn to Remhu the afflicter, umbra Shadowmelder his Hud told him even as it fizzled on and off.

It led an entire army of shadow drifters, creatures that could become shadows themselves, fusing into any and everything in sight, using tendrils that sapped the very vitality of their foes. Their lieutenant blackened the area with his power, hundreds of tendrils shooting for the titan blade, dominion carved through them like butter, its agonizing screams filling the air as Gegun completed its work, wiping the creature from existence.

Josh was suddenly there, hammer swinging with his full rage as he unleashed the brutality of his realm and path on them, fueled by the aspect of the titan that glowed both within and outside of his frame. With no time to waste, Moyo was moving to the next even as Ashira cut down one of the lieutenants of Vusal, her blade turning the red bloody creature into a green mottled thing of revulsion, the creature gagging on its own spit and breath as she became a blur again.

His mantle, titan’s protection killed anything that came in contact with him, ending their existence as they scrambled away from him in pure terror,

“HOLD!” he commanded, Ashe lacing the words,

The creatures around him froze even as they stared in terror as he swung Gegun, reaping them in their hundreds. Still, he wasn’t satisfied, his sight was on the elites, and with the primordials riding to war behind him, their presences had been divided, just the way he’d prefer it to be. The first sign he got of an elite coming was the bloodlust that took over every of the abyssal fiends in his surroundings regardless of their factions. They threw themselves at his Shieldborne like ravenous zombies, screaming and hollering even as Josh remained a steady rock, his Shieldborne forming a circle around the titan blade and Chimera.

Ashira’s realm opened up as acid venomous rain began to pour down, harming only the abyssal creatures who melted like butter on a hot pan. The moment he felt Gorefang begin to materialize, dominion swung with all the fury he had, with everything he had within him. Ashe, aspect, veneration and prime aspect all infused into the intent that lined the edges and powered dominion itself. Josh knew better, rolling out of the way even as his Shieldborne parted, calculating where the elite of Vusal would manifest. In an explosion of gore and bones that tore through the abyssal creatures around, harming a few of his Shieldborne who grunted as it drove them back and away from where the elite of Vusal appeared.

Clad in an armor of bleached white bones carved with angry red sigils that glowed, two axes filled with the aspect of Vusal and pure rage in his eyes, Gorefang manifested with a roar that shook the very earth they stood on. Moyo met that fury with his two blades, clashing with the creature who sought to overwhelm him with its aura. His prime aspect flared as his runic tattoos burned gold on his skin, rage in his eyes and heart, and the two began exchanging blows that shook the battlefield.

Each blow enough to take the skull of a ruler or seriously put an ancient out of commission, Moyo battled with the most battle-oriented elite of the abyssal lords. He felt the workings of blood and madness swell around Gorefang, the power of Vusal attempting to crash and shatter his core realm. With a snarl, the mountain of the titan appeared, its very presence wiping clean the workings of power that burned away, overhead, the prime aspect burned with all its glory and all over the field the creatures of the abyss began to wail as they began to catch on fire.

Gorefang roared, summoning the very presences of the two other elites who manifested with a bang, surrounding him and pressing down on him with the full aspects of their lords. The prime aspect’s manifestation flickered as their combined might sought to drive Moyo into the ground, Gorefang slicing a Shieldborne in two as the diamond ranker attempted to interfere. Moyo roared with rage, eyes burning bright as an arrow blew into Malachi, the elite of Remhu who brought up his two sickles barely in time to deflect it.

It threw off their combined strength for a fraction of a second, but that was what Moyo needed, besides, every second they were away from their forces was enough time for the forces of his house and those of the primordials to tear into the creatures. With a roar and a concussive bang, Moyo threw off the weights even as the prime aspect faded away, that was as far as he could maintain its presence currently, but it had done its job perfectly.

A loud draconic roar filled the air as the high brother Zeph with over a hundred ash made spears tore down at the titan, Gorefang swinging both axes, the giant clad armored form of Vaelus the ebon blade, elite of Lesuth and Malachi’s sickles tore down on him.

“Cleave!” commanded Gorefang with all the imbued authority of Vusal, invoking the very bloodthirsty nature of the abyssal lord,

“Defile!” Vaelus thundered as his broadsword crashed down on Moyo as well, Gegun holding it at bay even as the core aspect of the defiler sought to possess his body,

“Agony!” Malachi commanded, the aspect of Remhu himself bearing down on him, attempting to turn his body to the domain of pure agony,

All these lasted for a brief few second even as Moyo felt his consciousness roar with pain, his eyes blazing, his skills working overtime to make up for the total destruction invoked on his form. He spoke, feeling his very existence draw power from the mountain within his realm, the mountain behind him glowing with power,

“Da pa da!” he roared,

The entire battle became quiet as all sounds was suddenly taken away, the elite’s staring in wide fear, and then when it came back, it was in a rush of destruction so terrible, the entire landmass quaked and shattered. Moyo let it all out, rage, anger, everything, even as he noticed the presence of Altair, Raye, Thorian, Eogan, Killian, Duval, Skatha, everyone had arrived to watch the terrible power he had unleashed.

Nothing remained of the landscape save the very large glowing column of abyssal power that the forces of the abyss strove to defend, the very thing that had made this world theirs, that had made it a part of the abyss, and Moyo had just cleared the way to it. Malachi was the first to recover, his body smoking as he lunged for Moyo who wobbled, bringing up his blades in defense. A spear pierced through his wraith like body, exploding his skull in a shower of gore as Idris appeared, burning with power, and behind him, the forces of house titan blade.

Moyo couldn’t make sense of the battle after this point, where was Zeph though?. The question answered itself as the corrupted dragon he had been riding crashed to the ground, Moyo glancing up to see Ashira exchanging blows with the high brother. Blade against blade, realm against realm, the two of them working up shockwaves in the air, promethean battlesuits landed next to Moyo, the same moment as the Shieldborne converged.

They opened up to reveal empty suits larger and bigger than the normal size, six in number,

For the five Shieldbornes left and their Valoris,

The moment they stepped into the hulking mecha suits even with their armor on, they unleashed hell, their mechanized mithril hands grasping their hammers while what looked like a hand held Aetherblaster forged into the suit spat out its fury from their other hand. The voice of Ahib rung around,

“a gift, from I to you lord titan blade” he said,

The promethean clad Shieldborne led by their Valoris were an immovable wall, unleashing their fury even against the elites of the abyssal lords, their firepower adding to the damage already done by the titan blade himself. The elites swung their devastative weapons as one even as Moyo moved, seeking to protect his Shieldborne lest they get blown away in a rush of pure terrible power.

The ancients beat him to him, Altair wielding Durandal swung the blade, along with another hundred different blades that manifested behind him, Raye, burning with the power of the phoenix screeched as golden and bright red flames suffused both the elites and the forces of the archailect. It harmed the former and healed the latter, Thorian roaring in rage as he channeled his entire diamond aspect, the air glittering with diamond hard aura even as the landed his own punch on Gorefang who came close to bisecting the ancient had the primordials not arrived.

The cacophony of lightning and thunder that heralded the coming of Ardos shook the very ground, striking repeatedly at the elites whose forms seemed to weather the attacks, the primordial screaming into existence with a host of lightning clad warriors behind him. A gale blew as a sandstorm appeared, Viaris stepping into existence with his forces behind him and from the skies above fell Zeph with a roar of pain, atop his body sat Wukong, the great sage’s eyes burning with power even as it smouldered, gripping the arms of Zeph as he stared at him dispassionately. The shattering of the high brother’s arms signalled the renewal of the battle as an explosive force that caught Wukong offguard blew him from the body of the ash wrath.

Gorefang roared as the skies turned red before he immediately ducked, avoiding the weapon of Kairos that appeared along with Tiamat. The elites regrouped, Zeph panting even as his hands knitted themselves back to full use,

“Enough!” he screamed,

Moyo felt his body stabilizing as his body cooled off, huffing gently, steam emanating from his very pores,

“I’ve had enough of your foolishness, submit to lord Araman and Rohan, and you will be spared!, resist and die here, primordial or not!” Zeph screamed,

No one saw Tiamat’s tentacle limb smash into the high brother, obliterating him from the waist up in an attack so powerful, all that heralded his death was a slight puff of red mist. Oshosi’s ferocity screamed at him, warning him that the move was a mistake, but it was done, even as the elites grinned. Moyo had no idea when his legs began to pump, pushing him towards what remained of the high brother’s body, dominion raised high.

He had no idea that Josh and Idris had matched his speed, no doubts about what their lord was about to do. So when the black dome settled around the body of the ash wrath, and a black blade floated right up to where the rest of the body should had occupied, Moyo did the only thing possible to safeguard the lives of his friends.

Grabbing both Josh and Idris even as he forcefully tore open a pathway, he tossed them through with a roar, promethean battlesuits be damned. The primordials had moved as one immediately they sensed the imminent attack and the elites moved to counter them, Moyo putting everything he had into the attack. Dominion and Gegun crashed down on the blade as two black tar hands formed, catching the blades even as the hands hissed.

Ashira was stepping on his shoulder, propelling herself even as she knocked one arrow on her legendary ranked bow,

“Corrode!” she commanded as she let it loose,

Another limb shot out in a blur to snatch her even as her chimeric reflexes allowed her dodge the blow, twisting in the air before landing behind Moyo, switching bow for blade as she moved again. The Shieldbornes were far behind, lumbering with their suits towards Moyo as he screamed at them,

“Back through the pathway!” he roared, infusing Ashe within his very words,

Ardos came out of nowhere, along with Tengoku Junzo who up till that point, Moyo hadn’t seen. The fox’s tails were glowing, each with a different element as he let it all loose on the creature that was forming. It was futile, Moyo knew that, the primordials knew that and even as they saw the face beginning to materialize, Moyo tapped into himself, coaxing the prime aspect to fuse with him once again,

“can’t have that now, can we?” the voice of the being Moyo had learnt to fear echoed around him,

And then, with a single tar like palm, he spoke in a clear voice,

“repel”

Moyo felt his body break the sound barrier as he was blasted backwards, all the way to the city of Defiance itself where Idris and Josh watched as their lord crashed through four feet thick walls of Aserite. Eyes wide, Idris grabbed him, Josh blocking the path towards Moyo in preparation for whatever was coming,

“run” Moyo said weakly,

“Too late for that” the voice said again as Idris and Josh found themselves unable to move,

And Moyo stared into the eyes of Araman himself, for the destroyer had come, and in the skies above the planet, perpetual darkness loomed over everyone. A giant eye manifested, all black save for the omega sign that served as its iris. The abyssal lord of destruction swung one regenerated hand in the directions of both Idris and Josh as Moyo roared, prime aspect burning through him in a flare.

Agbala Agbaye shielded his champion, taking the brunt of the attack even as it dented, the aegis armor protecting the titan fist. Josh however was saved simply by the power of the prime aspect that burned the attack away before it could reach him. Moyo could only save one of them, and he had trusted the aegis to protect Josh.

The arm of Araman had been charred as he tsked, smiling down at Moyo who bent his entire willpower in trying to dislodge the abyssal lord, but it was a futile effort. Burnt out even with his aspect raging within him, his body simply couldn’t take the strain of the powers he had unleashed consecutively. He could feel the primordials battling to push the elites backwards, towards the tall spire that grounded the planet in the abyss, and he could feel Ashira and Annika, all the masters combined, burning speed to reach this position even as something Araman did somehow kept them at bay, as if the distance kept expanding.

The abyssal lord drew out a black blade as he spoke,

“I’ve got to admit, you surpassed my expectations, Moyo, no, titan blade” he said,

Pushing down on Moyo’s chest even as his reinforced bones screamed in protest, titan’s might burning with pure power to push Araman back. The abyssal lord grinned, and then snapped his fingers, the planet gave a great heave and then an unearthly scream tore through reality itself, shattering the walls between this realm, the Nethervoid and the abyss.

Moyo felt his mind been torn apart, he screamed in pure agony, raging as external forces sought to tear the very existences of every being on the planet apart. And then they manifested around the city of Defiance itself, those known as the ravaging powers of the abyss,

The lord of bloodlust, conqueror of the abyss and gore monger, Vusal the conqueror,

The lord of defilement, the betrayer, the conniver, the reaper of hundreds, Lesuth the defiler,

The lord of affliction, the prince of pain and agony, the very gorm of agony, Remhu the afflicter,

The four lords of the abyss had arrived, all in the same place,

Their very presence cracked the planet and sundered the stars, vessels of the archailect fell like shooting stars, crashing into the planet, mountains were blown away, ascenders instantly vaporized, masters and rulers crashing to their knees as they bleed from every hole on their body even as they screamed in rage and shook from pure pain. Whispers of madness floated through the air as the primordials burned higher than ever, taking on their true forms as three realms began to crash and splinter into one another.

Araman spoke,

“How does it feel, to lose the power of the archailect?” he asked Moyo even as he gripped his throat and raised him up,

“How does it feel to be at the mercy of the lords of the abyss?” he asked again as his voice echoed for miles in every distance,

Time, space, length, all these mattered little now when the fundamental laws of reality were shattered. Araman held him by the throat for all to see, the primordials gazing in pure anger as they bent their entire strength into closing the distance. Kairos swung his blade with all the fury of a primordial and Vusal clashed with him, red bloody large axe in hand. Reality twisted again as Moyo felt his heartbeat slowing down.

With rage he grabbed the hand of Araman, body burning bright as he exploded with power again even as he felt his titan body shudder, his mantle crack but Araman flicking him away with a hiss. He crashed before getting to his feet, bleeding,

“Still have lots of fight in you, don’t you?” Araman said with a chuckle,

Moyo stretched his two hands out, dominion and Gegun flying into them, one eye sealed shut even as he felt the pressure of standing in the middle of four abyssal lords,

“I’m taking you all down” he whispered, groaning with every word,

“don’t you get?” Araman said with a laugh,

“Your powers are inconsequential here, no jades, no brigades, Rohan on his way to finally end the archailect and the great being rising, its all over” he said,

“We drew the power of the archailect away” Vusal said, his voice grating like chalk on a board even as he stood in all his red and bloody glory,

“We starved you of your protectors” Remhu said, the maddened terror looking creature continued,

"And we isolated you, your end would be our rise” Lesuth completed, the black clad being with black flames atop his helmed head spoke,

Moyo gave a weak chuckle,

“I endure” he said,

“I protect” he continued,

“And I destroy, come!” he roared as his blades began moving in an arc even as the abyssal lords bore down on him.
