Chapter 51: Rite of Ascension
Aside from King Yalk and me, everyone was sent to the Sea-Dweller Dungeon. The Sea-Dweller King would like to talk to us.
Yalk: "You think he would even talk to us?"
Idmon: "(t) What do you mean?"
Yalk: "He might be just calling us for execution."
Idmon: "(t) Why do you think that?"
Yalk: "Well, you know... I eliminated a considerable number of his soldiers and serpents. He lost a third of his army in this war already when he tried to invade the Grave Isles."
Idmon: "That's impressive, but in any case, you were the only one who did that."
Yalk: "Eh, you'll leave me alone here?"
Sea-dweller Guard: "Silence! We are about to enter Pearl Hall!"
Pearl?
Yalk: "Whoa! Look at those things! Pearls!"
There were indeed a considerable number of pearls in this room. They might have scoured the whole area underwater for gems and stuffed them all here.
Yalk: "Oooff!"
We were thrown in front of the throne while bound in magic shackles. The Sea-Dweller King was there. He looked like a giant with the head of a whale.
Sea-Dweller King: "Hmmph. You two rats. What were you doing in my territory? I guess it's already obvious, but I just wanted to hear it from you before I kill you both."
Yalk: "Ah. We were just looking for the restroom!"
Sea-Dweller King: "You impudent whelp!"
The Sea-Dweller King hit Yalk with his whiplash. It has some magic thorns on it, so it did some damage to him.
Yalk: "Oww, my beautiful face..."
A few strips of zombie flesh were stuck on the whiplash of the king.
Sea-Dweller King: "I guess there was no reason to keep you alive anymore. Guards! Send them to the Cave of Executions!"
Yalk: "Ehhh!"
Sea-Dweller King: "You will be buried in thousands of magical tridents. A fitting end for rats like you!"
Yalk: "You don't say?"
Sea-Dweller King: "Hiyah!"
Yalk: "Ooff!"
Sigh. Yalk likes to tease others. I wanted to talk to the Sea-Dweller King a bit more.
Idmon: "(t) Excuse me, King."
Sea-Dweller King: "Huh?
Yalk: "Hehehe, you see... This Skeleton King can't speak, you know. He likes
Idmon: "Ignore him for now, but I have a much more important matter to discuss with you."
Sea-Dweller King: "Huh? And what the heck is it, you worm?"
Idmon: "I think that nickname is very wrong since worms don't have bones, but what I want is to have a Rite of Ascension."
Sea-Dweller King: "Huh? HUH!? HAHAHAHA! You imbecile. HAHAHA!"
Even his royal guards were laughing.
Sea-Dweller King: "I don't know how you got to know about the ritual, but an undead like you has no rights here."
Idmon: "(t) Of course, I don't have... But she does."
Sea-Dweller King: "She-?"
Idmon: "
Sea-Dweller King: "What!?"
A black hole appeared out of nowhere, and someone came out of it.
Rina: "Ahhhh!!! It felt so cramped there, you know!"
Idmon: "(t) Sorry about that, Rina. We're here."
Rina: "Uh, oh."
Sea-Dweller King: "RINA! Where have you been, my daughter!?"
The Sea-Dweller King was trying to get closer to Rina, but she rejected him.
Rina: "Stop it, old man, you're embarrassing me."
Sea-Dweller King: "Wha?"
Rina: "I hereby declare the Rite of Ascension with me as the challenger to oust my father!"
Sea-Dweller King: "What are you doing, Rina!?"
Rina: "You have no right to refuse."
All of his royal guards are now looking at him. They looked worried, but none of them said a word.
Sea-Dweller King: "You don't have an army!"
Idmon: "(t)I brought my 50000 strong army to the Grave Isles. If you want, I can contact them to begin the attack now."
A bluff. I only brought 5000 men.
Sea-Dweller King: "Then... I accept. And this skeleton will be your champion?"
Rina: "Yes, Lord Idmon, here will be my champion."
Idmon: "(t) I apologize for my late introduction. I am Idmon the Skeleton King."
Instead of just executing us, the Sea-Dweller King has to defeat us in the Rite of Ascension, or else he will lose his credibility as king.
Sea-Dweller King: "Grr... Don't get ahead of yourselves fools! I am still the king, so I will set the rules for the Rite of Ascension."
Rina: "Go ahead. You'll lose anyway."
Sea-Dweller King: "Hehehe. Rina, you look down on your father too much. (Stomp!)"
With a stomp, a part of the floor was elevated and became something like an arena.
Sea-Dweller King: "This will not be a one-on-one challenge! You will have to defeat my greatest warriors in the arena before you get a chance to fight me!"
Rina: "You cheap old man."
Yalk: "That's cool! I want in! Ooofff!"
Yalk got whipped again.
Setting aside Yalk's enthusiastic response, this is quite a smart move for the king. He could wear me down with nothing but his greatest warriors before he comes in for the finishing blow.
Rina: "Hmmph. Since you will be entering multiple champions yourself, I will send in more too."
Sea-Dweller King: "What!?"
Rina: "I am royalty too, so I have a right to set one rule. Both the challenger and king can only have four champions each."
Sea-Dweller King: "Grr... Okay! Before you get to fight me, you need to beat all four of my warriors first, and only one can fight me in the final battle, as stated in the old rules."
I only need to beat one, and my comrades can beat the others.
That's a great help already. I was worried I needed to fight four warriors before him.
Sea-Dweller King: "In case one of you loses in a battle, you need to send one to fight twice. Hehehe."
Rina: "Deal. As if they'd lose to some of your lackeys."
.
.
.
The Rite of Ascension will be fought without magic. It is an ancient practice that tests a sea dweller's strength and sets one above the rest.
They held the Rite in various ways and situations, but this Rite, in particular, was very troublesome.
Most of the time, the Rite was settled in a one-on-one fight with the King and the Challenger.
This king is a coward, or more like a cunning man.
We were given time to discuss who we sent in to fight. The searcher offered Sina a place to fight.
The Searcher: "I won't fight in a physical battle. You know I rely on magic too, like Bon."
Bon and The Searcher are out. But I think The Searcher is just sitting this one out.
Lina: "I will fight!"
Lina said so with vigor.
Idmon: "I'm sorry, Lina, but you are also a magic user. You can't win against them."
Lina: "I... I will fight."
I have no idea what she has in mind, but it appears she has a daring plan.
Idmon: "(t)Hmm... I see. Very well, I'll let you fight."
Lina: "Thank you, Lord Idmon."
Of course, Yalk will fight.
Yalk: "Me! I will fight! Hahaha. I want to get a piece of that old fish! Or a piece of his soldiers, at least!"
Idmon: "(t) You just read my mind. Let's go."
Bon walked up to me.
Bon: "Be careful, Lord Idmon. I know you can win this, but try to win without serious injuries this time."
Idmon: "(t) You love to worry, don't you, Bon?"
Bon: "It's a part of my job."
Job, huh?
Rina: "Oiii!!! Are you guys ready? It's about to start!"
Rina called us over.
.
.
.
S.D. King: "I send Whitejaw as my first champion!"
A sea-dweller who looks like a shark-headed sea monster—he's humanoid alright, but that head seems out of place.
Rina: "I will send Sina as my first champion!"
We decided the Sina should go first. The searcher told me that it's to gauge the enemy's strength.
She took out her elemental daggers. She chose the lightning element in particular.
Idmon: "(t) Be careful, Sina."
Sina: "..."
She nodded, but didn't say anything. They positioned themselves in the middle of the arena.
They thought no one would notice, but Whitejaw was buffed with support spells.
The rule was no magic in the arena, so a spell cast before the battle is accepted?
Sea-Dweller King: "Begin!"
Whitejaw seemed to disappear when the match started. He was already rushing towards Sina. As a sea dweller, he is used to the resistance underwater.
They might be stronger physically, too, since they have to train themselves underwater.
Whitejaw: "RAHHHH!!!"
Whitejaw's mouth opened wide, aiming to swallow Sina whole, but Sina was able to dodge.
Whitejaw: "Huh? Grr..."
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Whitejaw looked surprised. He might not have fought someone who was that fast before. Most don't know about Sina's extraordinary speed, but it is something to be wary of.
Whitejaw: "Hiya! Hiya!"
Sina: "..."
He kept slashing Sina with his claws, but only to find that he was cutting nothing and that his target had disappeared.
Whitejaw: "You like to run, huh? Try and dodge this!"
Skill! [Blink Attack!]
Oh. That's not a spell, but a skill? A combat skill? Like my
The Searcher: "It's over."
Hmm? The searcher seemed to have given up on Sina, as he said. Or that's what I thought.
Whitejaw was so fast that he seemed to have teleported behind Sina.
Whitejaw: "DIE!"
Whitejaw's jaws were about to tear Sina apart when, suddenly
Whitejaw: "GRRRAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Bzzzt.. Bzzzt! Crackle, crackle.
Sina was able to turn around and plant her daggers inside his mouth.
She then discharged the elemental weapons to release their magic.
The way she turned her body was almost like a doll. It was terrifying to watch.
Whitejaw: "GRRRRR... Hiya!"
Sina stepped away from him to create some distance. I thought it was over, but Whitejaw was able to take out the daggers.
Sina: "Hah... ha... That hurts, you know. You bitch!"
The Searcher: "Oh, I thought it was already over."
The searcher was surprised; I was too. Since it was lightning element daggers, they aren't the strongest warriors for nothing.
The Searcher: "Sina, finish him."
Sina nodded. The searcher seemed to have seen enough already.
It's her turn now. She did exactly as Whitejaw did.
She blinked.
She appeared behind him and stabbed more of her lightning element daggers on his back.
Sina: "..."
Whitejaw: "Hehehe..."
The Searcher: "Hmmm?"
The lightning was discharging violently, but Whitejaw was laughing.
Whitejaw: "Hahahaha!"
Even the sea-dweller king was laughing.
Sea-Dweller King: "You think we won't create countermeasures for our weaknesses?"
Whitejaw kicked her, and she flew a great distance away from him.
The Searcher: "Coral armor, huh?"
Whitejaw: "Hehehe... magical armor." This thing reduces elemental damage in huge amounts. It's also as hard as silver and gold. Some weak attacks won't break it."
Her daggers can't pierce that thing.
Whitejaw: "Die, bitch!"
Whitejaw now hits her again with kicks without stopping. He wants to beat her up before killing her.
Sina: "..."
Whitejaw: "Die, die, die!"
I was about to dive in and pierce that fish with a spear when the searcher prevented me.
The Searcher: "Don't."
He just said that. It looked like he read my mind. He must have a plan in mind, so I decided to stay put.
Kick. Kick. Kick.
Sina was being kicked on her body, so her body was bent weirdly. Some of her bones were already poking out of her.
There was no blood, though, since she was dead a long time ago.
She is merely a zombie that The Searcher created.
The Searcher: "It's time."
Idmon: "(t) Hmm?"
As I was still thinking about what's going on, The Searcher told me something ominous.
Is it time? Does this mean she lost?
Sea-Dweller King: "Hahaha! It seems like you sent a weak champion this time!"
The Sea-Dweller King was laughing to himself. He's starting to piss me off. That's an achievement for him, since I'm rarely pissed off.
Whitejaw: "It's over now! Om nom nom. (Crack!)"
Whitejaw swallowed Sina whole, and when he closed his mouth, Sina's legs were cut off.
Idmon: "(t) No..."
Sea-Dweller King: "Hmmph."
Royal Guard: "The winner of this fight is...!"
Whitejaw: "Blurgh... Omoffgggg..."
Whitejaw was acting strange.
The Searcher: "She won this time."
Idmon: "(t) Huh?"
A smell of flesh being roasted was wafting towards us. Smoke was coming out of Whitejaw's mouth.
She had discharged her daggers inside his body to cook him from the inside.
Sina: "..."
Sina crawled outside of Whitejaw's mouth. Her skin was also burned since her own tactic damaged her.
Whitejaw fell face first. Smoke rising from his body.
Idmon: "She won."
Royal Guard: "The winner... is Sina!"
The arena announcer was shocked, and it took him a few seconds to understand what had happened.
Sea-Dweller King: "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"
The king was obviously pissed this time. Hahaha.
I quickly went to Sina since she doesn't have legs anymore. I don't want to watch her crawl towards us.
Idmon: "(t) Good job, Sina."
Sina: "..."
The Searcher: "You worry too much, Lord Idmon."
Idmon: "(t) Of course, she's one of us too."
The searcher said, "I'll fix her up. Please focus on the next battles."
The searcher brought her away from the arena.
Things are looking favorable, with the first fight ending in our victory.
Yalk: "Now, she's literally a smoking piece of ass."
Idmon: "(t) Shut up, Yalk."
I hit him in the head.
.
.
.
Sea-Dweller King: "I send Octo as my second champion!"
A sea dweller with the head of an octopus came out. He had tentacles for arms too, but he was still humanoid.
I think that these sea dwellers might be humans cursed with some kind of sea magic.
Rina: "I will send Lina as my second champion!"
Lina was staying in the dungeon to prepare, so she was from there. I was surprised when I saw her.
Idmon: "(t) Lina?"
Lina: "Yes, Lord Idmon?"
A woman covered with thick ice was in front of me. She was Lina, no doubt, but it was still surprising. She looks like a frost golem.
It must be her strategy to win without magic.
Idmon: "(t) Good luck."
Lina: "Thank you."
Wahi: "GO BIG SIS LINA!"
Mermaid Ghosts: "GO!!! OUR QUEEN!!!"
Lina: "Cut it out, or I'll freeze you guys later."
It's good to know that her "sisters" are supportive of her.
It's a good idea to cover herself with ice. Lina's ice is very tough and will be strong armor against the enemy's physical attack.
I imagine that a punch from the ice-covered arm will be very painful too. I wish she could take advantage of her ethereal form, but they are using magical weapons anyway, so she can't.
Royal Guard: "Begin!"
Octo quickly spits a huge amount of ink on Lina.
Lina: "Oofff!"
While Lina was trying to remove the ink from her eyes, many tridents held by Octo stabbed her.
Chunks of ice flew around as the tridents carved their way into her armor.
When ghosts are hit with magic or a magic weapon, the damage is inflicted on their spiritual energies.
If they get hit too much, they won't have enough spirit energies to sustain themselves and will eventually disappear.
Octo: "Hehehe. Try fighting back now!"
Lina was on full defensive now, but that changed shortly.
Octo: "Guhhhhh!"
As the tridents were barraging her, she dashed towards him and hit him with a powerful punch.
Octo's face was bleeding a lot now.
Octo: "Guuhh. How..."
Lina: "You may cover my eyes with your dirty liquids, but you won't be able to hide where your attacks are coming from."
Yalk: "Oohhh...!"
King Yalk was excited for some reason.
Octo: "Hmmph."
Octo releases even larger amounts of ink. He covered the arena with a dome of ink.
Skill! [Darkness Dome]!
Eh. That's a skill?
Octo was coming in and out of the ink dome, where Lina was trapped. He would attack her and then retreat outside when she was about to retaliate.
Bon: "It's a huge disadvantage this time. I think that she shouldn't have pushed herself."
Bon said that. I agree with him, but I trust Lina. She can do this.
Crack. Crack. Crack.
You could see ice shards on the floor of the arena and flying outside of the ink dome. Lina's ice armor is almost broken.
When the ink dome finally disappeared, we saw Lina with her armor completely battered, and some parts of her body were exposed to attacks.
Octo: "Do you give up now? You should quietly accept your fate. You lowly ghost should have never come back to this realm."
Lina: "You only know how to talk big. Goodbye."
Octo: "Huh?"
The ice shards exploded.
He wasn't even able to produce a sound. Some ice shards went inside him.
Ice spikes impaled him from the inside.
Idmon: "(t) Great thinking, Lina."
Lina: "Thank you very much!"
Since the rule was not to use magic during the battle, she created some time-delayed explosives in the form of ice shards.
Royal Guard: "The winner is Lina!"
Sea-Dweller King: "Why do you sound so happy, idiot?"
The Sea-Dweller King vented his anger at the announcer.
.
.
.
Sea-Dweller King: "Oh, I didn't think they'd come this far. I sent Searetsnom."
A Sea-Dweller. No... A humanoid sea monster came forward. This guy looked like a demon fish—a huge one at that.
Rina: "I send Yalk as my third champion."
Yalk: "It's King Yalk to you, little miss."
Rina: "Quit whining and get moving."
Yalk and Searetsnom position themselves.
Yalk: "Hey, ladies! No cheering for me!?"
Zombie Maid 1: "Go, die."
Ono: "You pig."
Yalk: "Oh. I love you too!"
King Yalk... This situation is something you set up, right? His royal guards are verbally abusing him, and he loves it.
I wonder how Yalk will win this one. He looks and acts nothing like a king. Maybe he hides his skills? I don't know.
Royal Guard: "Begin."
Yalk: "Let's get it! WOAHHHH!!!"
Searetsnom immediately punched him, and he fled a few meters away.
Yalk: "That's not fair! Oooofff!"
He kept punching and kicking Yalk around the arena. Searetsnom was toying with Yalk.
Yalk: "Woah!!! Ahhh!!! Wow!!!! Gufuu!!!!"
Searetsnom: "...Grrr...."
This Searetsnom is like a dog. He's now biting and throwing Yalk around.
Yalk: "Ahhhhhh!!!"
Searetsnom: "Grrr... Armmm.. (Chomp)"
He's now eating Yalk from his legs up to his body.
Idmon: "(t) You should surrender now, Yalk. We might not be able to piece you back together, you know?"
Yalk: "Oh my, I need to bring in my waifu's clothes! I left them hanging outside!"
Suddenly, Yalk disappeared from Searetsnom's grasp. A weird box appears behind him. Or maybe it was there the whole time.
Yalk: "Sorry for not introducing myself properly! I'm Yalk, the Zombie Jester King! or make that Zombie Jester Harem King!"
He came out of the box and started spewing nonsense. He also pushed Searetsnom inside his box.
As weird as it seemed, Searetsnom was paralyzed the moment the box appeared. He went inside the box without resistance.
Then Yalk pierced the box with multiple swords that came out of nowhere.
Blood came out from below the box. For sure, Searetsnom was dead.
Idmon: "(t) This guy..."
Yalk: "Oh? The paralysis? It was because of the fake me! I planted it with a lot of poison!"
Royal Guard: "The winner is Yalk."
Sea-Dweller King: "Damn this... what the heck are these monsters?"
So it turned out that this Yalk is also a powerful guy, but he doesn't seem to like fighting. At least not fighting fair.
.
.
.
It's my turn now.
Sea-Dweller King: "Damn it. Finish this Neger."
A humanoid creature with one eye came forward.
Idmon: "My last champion is Lord Idmon, of course."
Rina: "Good luck."
Lina: "Good luck, Lord Idmon!"
Yalk: "Hehehe, you have a lot of fans, bro."
Idmon: "Are you one of them?"
Yalk: "Hahahaha! A good one! Anyway, that guy. He smells dangerous."
Idmon: "(t) Why? You can't take him on."
Yalk: "He's dead the moment I step on that stage."
He said that, but his face was serious.
Idmon: "I better not disappoint then."
We positioned ourselves in the middle of the arena.
Royal Guard: "Begin!"
Both of us didn't move immediately. I was waiting for Neger to show his ability. Is he doing the same to me?
He seems to be standing still, trying to bait me.
I kept the grip on my lance firm. He might have some sort of one-hit kill technique, for all I know.
A minute passed with both of us doing nothing.
Idmon: "I guess you want me to go first, huh?"
Neger: "..."
My dash isn't something special, but it was fast enough for the average person. I focused so much on the magical advances that I didn't think of improving my combat abilities.
He still wasn't moving.
I used my Void Lance for this one. If this pierced him, he would die because he was not wearing magical armor.
Idmon: "(t) Excuse me for this."
Combat Skill [Pierce]
No matter how hard he thinks it is, my stab has armor-piercing capabilities and would pierce his skin.
Neger: "..."
Shluck!
But contrary to my expectations, Neger's skin wasn't tough. It was soft as jelly. I thought that was the reason he didn't wear armor.
Neger: "..."
I quickly stepped back. It tried to grab me while I was nearby. I left my Void Lance inside of him.
He ate it with his body. The hole in his vessel quickly closed, too. The dark flames that covered my Void Lance were also consumed.
I thought he would burn to nothingness, but he was able to consume even the dark flames.
Idmon: "(t) Regen and Decay, isn't it? I can't believe that you made even the flames decay on their own."
Neger: "..."
He wasn't moving as always. I need to find his weak point. Entities like this are similar to slime. He must have a core.
I stabbed him in the chest earlier, so it can't be there.
It's a good thing I also brought a bone spear for backup. This spear is my only weapon now. I can't just give it to him.
Dashing in again seemed like a suicide tactic, but I need to know where his core is.
Hiya! Hiya!
I stabbed him in the head. I stabbed him in the stomach.
It wasn't there. It's a great thing that Neger's slow. I was able to get away before he got a hold of me.
Where is it?
On a whim, I tried throwing a rock on the ground towards him. It hit his knees. The weird thing was that it didn't decay immediately.
Even with my bone spear As long as I take it out quickly, he won't be able to eat it up.
I get it.
Idmon: "It has been a short while, but this is goodbye."
Neger: "..."
I dashed towards him and stopped just a few steps away.
He's now trying to grab me.
With a step in, I stabbed him in the arm.
Neger: "GEHAHHHHHHHH"
He was slow because his core needed to get to the limbs before he moved.
I baited him to grab me and stab the core.
He's squirming now. But at the same time, his face cracked a smile.
His face and other arm were already moving towards me. Three cores?
Idmon: "(t)Hmmph."
Combat Skill:
I stabbed his face and other arms with unbelievable speed. It's a good thing I practiced this skill.
Using a lance is dangerous since thrusting and pulling back your lance for another stab takes a long time.
Neger: "Guhhuuuhhh...."
He shriveled up and died.
Sea-Dweller King: "Even you, Neger?"
The Sea-Dweller King could not believe what had happened.
Sea-Dweller King: "You bastard, you killed my most powerful men. You will pay for this."
Royal Guard: "The winner is..."
Sea-Dweller King: "Shut it, fool."
Once again, he vented his anger at the announcer.
Sea-Dweller King: "I won't... give it to you."
Idmon: "(t) We will still fight, right? You won't just give it to me."
Sea-Dweller King: "Fight... Hehehe. It won't be a f-fight. It will be... A MASSACRE!"
Some clouds covered him out of nowhere. Something came out of his gigantic whale mouth.
Rina: "Idmon! Get out of there! He's calling the sea god, Drib Ulf!"
Idmon: "(t)Sea God?"
With a thunderous roar, something like a sea dragon appeared.
Maybe it really is a sea dragon.
Drib Ulf: "How dare you bother this place? This kingdom is my holy shrine! You have defiled it and killed my followers! You will pay!"
Yalk: "Ei! How much is it? We're not the rich, by the way!"
Yalk...
Idmon: "So if I beat you, the sea god, Rina can become the queen?"
Drib Ulf: "Hahaha! Such wishful thinking! But of course, if you beat me, there will be no more force to oppose you."
Rina: "Idmon, forget it! I don't want to be queen anymore! It's impossible to beat that guy!"
Idmon: "(t) I am the Skeleton King. I won't back down anymore now that I used this title."
Rina: "Idmon..."
Drib Ulf: "Are you done praying? Now die!"
A vast breath of water came out of his mouth. Even though we're underwater, the water from his magic is different from the seawater.
Idmon: "(t) Magic, huh, that's against the rules."
I created a huge one big enough to contain the attack.
Drib Ulf: "Hmmph. An insect can be hard to kill sometimes."
Idmon: "Oh my, says the insect himself."
Drib Ulf: "You won't be underestimating us anymore when you're crying in the void!"
A huge bone arm blocked his claw that came out of my Drib Ulf: "Enough with these tricks! GRR!!!" He quickly broke the bone arm with his jaws. I ascended upon him as he struggled to free himself from the bone arm and struck him with my fists covered in N.E. I was hitting him with all I had, but I couldn't even scratch him. Drib Ulf: "Roar!!!!" He sent me flying with a roar. I quickly drew my bones. Lance dashed back towards him. I was avoiding the water balls that he kept shooting from his mouth. Clank! Crack! The Bone Lance crumbled. His dragonhide is just too tough. Drib Ulf: "Such childish attacks won't be able to scratch my hide, fool." Idmon: "(t) I won't hold back anymore; I'll attack you with all my might, and if you live, it means I lose." Drib Ulf: "Hahaha! Go ahead!" With all the energy I can muster, along with the S-crystals I stored in my I cast my spell. A huge flame came out from beneath him and swallowed his entire body. Drib Ulf was an enormous dragon, but I was able to cover him with the spell. That was how much energy I dished out. "Hehehehe... MUHAHAHAHAHA!" He wasn't even scratched. My most potent N.E. spell... Only removed his Idmon: "(t) You. Ah. It's my loss." Drib Ulf: "Goodbye, Skeleton King. You guys were the weakest bunch, after all." Huge balls of water formed around him, and they turned into multiple water breath attacks. Bon: "Lord Idmon!" Bon was the first to intervene. He created an enormous Lina: "N-no!" Lina also made a vast ice wall. But the torrents were too strong to hold back. Lina: "Help us! King Yalk!" Yalk: "We can't. It's his fight." Lina: "What the heck are you saying?" Yalk: "I can't even help him, but even if I did, he wouldn't accept it. He's a king." Lina: "What!? Are you crazy!?" Yalk: "Look at him." Idmon: "(t) It's okay... You guys. Thank you." Lina: "NO!!!!" Lina tried to make her wall bigger, but she has been in multiple fights lately. She just didn't have enough spirit energy left. Lina: "Bon!!! What do we do?" Bon was also dishing out different spells. He created a large flame wall to try and evaporate the torrents, but Bon: "No, Lord Idmon!" Suddenly, darkness covered the room. Voice: "Don't cry, Lina." Lina: "Huh? Who is it?" The Old Man Wizard, who was quietly watching, suddenly shuddered in fear. Wizard Ybab: "He's here..." Arit: "Excuse me for a moment. The Third Skeleton King Arit has arrived."
