Chapter 15: Loots!

We camped a few miles away from the village. There was a small cave.

Luckily, no one’s home.

I decided this was the best time to check our loot from the black goblin king.

Hmm…. Normal battle-ax, some staff, plate mail, and other weird stuff.

The plate armor is good. I wore it, and I don’t feel too encumbered. It has good defensive stats, and I wish I had an analyzer to see if it has any enchantments. Same with the other equipment.

I tried waving to one of the staff.

A fireball went out when I focused my negative energy on it.

Whoa!

I nearly blew myself up.

The other staff are and . Or that is what I concluded from testing them.

Maybe there is a way to operate a staff to produce other skills, but I don’t know how to do that.

I tried swinging the battle- axe. It was heavy, and when I swung it hard, I fell from the weight of it.

I think if I’m going to use this weapon, I’m going to need a lot of practice.

While I’m doing all these weird shits, I asked Lina to use the staff, Bon, too, via telepathy.

She was able to hold it since it was magically enchanted, and she grasps it with the energies embedded in the staff.

Bon was able to produce a fire spear spell from the staff! And for Lina, it was an spell.

These guys are too good.

They tried making the spells hit each other to test which one was stronger.

Boom! Wawawawa. The was able to go past the fire spear.

Bon looked downcast, while Lina was somehow trying to show me that she did her best. Or that was how I saw the situation.

There is also a summoning spell book along with the loot.

I tried reading it, but it was too technical for me. And I don’t understand most of the terms. By the way, how do I even know how to read?

Hmm? No, no, no. It seems there is nothing useful anymore.

What is this!?

It was a pretty crystal. I don’t know what it is. I tried looking at the books that I bought before to find the purpose of this crystal.

I found it in the book “Everything you need to know about humans.”

It was called a storage crystal. It can store mana and spells if you are good at manipulating energies. Masters can even save multiple spells if the crystal is of great value.

Wow.

I tried pouring my negative energy into the crystal, and it turned purple.

Hehehehe. There are a few of them here; I’ll use the crystals as backups for my N.E. (same as blue potions for humans).

Since there is nothing else, I ordered the group to continue the march.
