Intermission: Blind
Somewhere in a cave on the South Region's southernmost part, there was a meeting happening.
"Is the plan going on as planned?"
He paced the room as he talked to his commanders.
The room was a throne room. It was dark. No light sources were present, but if you could see them, it's as if they are doing things in broad daylight.
Only a throne and a few chairs are in the room.
"Yes, the goblins are following our orders and are very effective once we cast the
"So, why is the news of the dwarves' defeat still not arriving?"
"My king..."
He was addressed as King. And if he could see, this guy talking to him is kneeling as a sign of respect. Even though blind, his servants did not fail to show their humble attitude.
"We have a new army that joined the fray. And they are undead."

"UNDEAD!?"
He stood up, angry.
His servants could feel the anger exuding from him.
He thought about it for a few seconds and did not say anything anymore. He was able to regain his composure after a few moments.
"Are you sure? It has been centuries since the undead have walked these lands."
"Yes, my king. Our mind controllers that were holding the borders against the dwarves have been defeated."
"Which one?"
"All three of them."
"Damn. Where did they come from?"
"We believe they are from the northern region. As we have known that the undead horde migrated there once, the undead scouts thought that there were no humans left here."
"Argh!!!"
The King is frustrated, he remembers. The tragedy that happened before. He was able to live until now because of magic. And even though he is blind now, everything that happened before is very vivid to him.
Waves of the undead pour in the gates, forcing the people to fight to their deaths or hide underground. They chose the latter. They want to survive, but now the creatures that threatened their existence are here again.
"Send a messenger..."
"Yes, my king."

These people are called blind people. Living for centuries underground has made them blind, but in exchange for their eyes, they can now see energies that envelop or empower a creature. Be it a human or a monster, They call it Using their new skill to see energies, they developed ways to control these energies with a spell that they made on their own. They hold the strands of energy of a creature and use them to bend it to their will. They can control multiple creatures because of their centuries of practice. They were supposed to end the dwarves and take over the southern region with their mind-controlled goblin army. "I knew it—that vampire. We should have taken him out back then. These guys must be his allies." The king sits on his throne, eyes closed. He always keeps it closed because when he tries to open it, the tragedy replays again and again. "So, it is really happening..."
