While Kyle and Kanna went back to the castle, Hagrid sat in his hut, pondering until nightfall. He finally decided to follow Kyle's advice and take Fluffy to the Forbidden Forest. He decided to do it tonight.
Although he felt very reluctant, he had no choice. First of all, this would make Fluffy feel better.
Fluffy was happy, he was happy.
Besides, he had thought it over. Kyle was right. The situation outside was really tense.
Earlier today, Professor Oren, who was in the Forbidden Forest looking for teaching materials, had complained to him that after today's Daily Prophet was published, the Ministry had sent almost all of its Aurors to search for magical creatures of unknown origin, ot show how seriously they were taking the situation.
It made it impossible for him to even buy teaching materials. He had to come to the Forbidden Forest and catch them himself.
Hagrid remembered that when Professor Oren said this, he was about to explode with anger. He ranted about Fudge being a moron in the Forbidden Forest.
At the time, Hagrid had just thought it was funny. But now, thinking about it, he regretted not joining in the rant.
Because he had bought Fluffy at a pub, and there were other people around.
Although they didn’t know what exactly he had bought, if one of them was unlucky enough to get caught by the Aurors, they would lie to get off, claiming that he had bought a magical creature.
After all, for them, guessing right meant getting off easy, guessing wrong wouldn’t hurt. Why not?
So, for Fluffy’s safety and to avoid causing trouble for Dumbledore, he had to let Fluffy go.
The Aurors wouldn’t search the Forbidden Forest, would they?
Of course, if they wanted to, Hagrid wouldn’t stop them.
It wasn’t necessary.
Even werewolves and manticores lived in the depths of the Forbidden Forest. What was so strange about one more three-headed dog?
On the other side, Kyle had returned to the castle and was sitting in a corner of the common room, sorting through the pile of Whomping Willow branches.
"I was just about to ask." Kanna looked at Kyle's actions and asked curiously, "What are you picking up those branches for? There are a lot of them in the kitchen. You can take as many as you want."
"It's not the same. These are Whomping Willow branches." Kyle explained, "Whomping Willow is a magical pear tree. It protects the people who touch its trunk from dark creatures."

Kanna blinked. Of course, she knew that. But what did this have to do with Kyle picking up branches?
Branches, trunk… that was completely different.
“I… forget it. You’ll know later."
Kyle picked out a straight stick and put it aside. He casually asked, "By the way, how do you know there are branches in the kitchen? Did you eat there?"
Kyle had definitely been there before. But every time, he was surrounded by house elves as soon as he reached the doorway.
The stoves were further back. To see the whole kitchen, he would have to sit at the long tables.
With those house-elves enthusiasm, if he didn’t eat there, he basically wouldn’t be able to get that far.
Because they would hang a whole cow on him halfway there.
"I… I didn’t. I wasn’t. Don’t say that…"
Kanna’s face flushed red, and she stammered, "I, I was just curious, I went to look at the kitchen."
"Oh, okay."
Kyle didn't mind. He kept picking through the Whomping Willow branches. When he finished, he realized that Kanna had left for the dorm, he didn't know when.
Besides, he was all alone in the common room. Only then did he remember that it was the weekend. He quickly tidied up and went back to his dorm.
He didn't want to stay up late.
For Hufflepuff, tomorrow’s weekend was a big day. The Quidditch matches started, and their first game was against Slytherin.
The next day.
To cheer on their house team, the Badgers got up before eight o’clock. After breakfast, they put on their neat uniforms, carrying the cheering flags they had prepared earlier, and went to the Quidditch pitch on time.
Kyle was originally one of them, but after breakfast, a fat ghost floated in front of him.
"Hello, Kyle, I hope I haven't interrupted your breakfast."
"Hello, sir." Kyle replied politely, "Do you want to go watch Quidditch? Hufflepuff has a very good chance of winning this year."
"No. I prefer Gobstones." The fat ghost said with regret, "Unfortunately, Hogwarts abolished that sport decades ago."
"I'm sorry, sir." Kyle quickly said, "I hope I haven't ruined your day."
"Of course not, child." The fat ghost said with a chuckle, "The biggest advantage of being a ghost is that nothing can be worse than this. You don’t have to worry.
But you might have to wait a little longer to watch the match. Dumbledore needs you. He's in the Headmaster's office on the eighth floor. The password is Creamy Peanut Butter."
Dumbledore needs me?
This surprised Kyle. He curiously asked, "Sir, do you know why the Headmaster wants me?"
"I don't know." The fat ghost shook his head, "I just delivered a message."
"Okay, I'll go now. See you later, sir."
Kyle said goodbye to the ghost and went straight to the eighth floor.
He had to go, the Headmaster wanted him. He just hoped he wouldn't miss the Quidditch match.
Although he had never been to the Headmaster's office before, relying on his familiarity with the map, Kyle quickly found the hideous gargoyle.
“Creamy Peanut Butter," Kyle said the password.
The gargoyle jumped to the side. The wall behind it split in two, revealing a winding staircase.
The stairs slowly moved upward, like an escalator.
Kyle stood on it and followed the stairs to an oak door. It had a griffin knocker.
Kyle nervously knocked on the door. The knocker came to life, as if, flapping its wings and slowly opening the door.
It has to be said that the Headmaster's office was something. The way the door opened was much better than knocking on wooden barrels.
Kyle walked into the Headmaster's office and curiously looked around.
The spacious round room was filled with various amusing little noises. There were many strange silver objects on the table. They spun around and released puffs of smoke.
Kyle didn’t know what these things were for, but they weren't humidifiers.
Near the wall, there was a stone basin with strange symbols on it. Next to it, there was a large mirror.
The mirror was very impressive. It reached the ceiling. It had a shiny golden frame. Below it were two claw-shaped legs.
