But even as he yelled while squirming on the ground, he couldn't help but notice the look on Kon's face become even colder than before.
This of course scared him and he was tempted to simply jump on his feet and accept the bowl, but he didn't.
If he drank it he might as well forget about being able to kill anyone which meant that he would only have one chance remaining.
This would instantly mean that the probability of him killing all six and passing the test would be extremely close to zero.
"Joai?"
Kon had only just signaled to the servant and called his name when he instantly rushed forward towards Karh who didn't at all lower his high screaming tone. Going as far as to scream and groan even more.
"Master Kon. He appears to be in real pain," Karh heard Joai respond and just when he was about to sigh in his heart, at being able to get through the crossroad in front of him, Kon's next words had him openly gasping in shock.
"...feed it to him. I can't take any chances. If he dies…then he does,"
"Ko…KON…" Karh struggled to cry out in a miserable tone, staring straight at him with a shocked expression on his face.
"You are of no use to me. I keep you around because you don't trouble me so now that it seems like you can't even hold in a little pain from Roe's beatings, why should I keep you alive," Kon asked gripping the scabbard tied to his waist about to pull out his sword.
Karh instantly scrambled to his knees, hitting his forehead on the ground and gritting his teeth tightly together facing Kon. He understood that the moment he pulled it out, he would use it.
"I'll…I'll accept the bowl…" Karh said with a bitter expression on his face even as he shivered in fear, as seconds ticked by without hearing Kon respond.
Finally, Kon did, moving his head away from the huge sword tied to his tall and muscular body.
"If this happens again I'll slice your neck off your shoulders and feed it to the dogs…" Kon openly threatened and Karh didn't have to raise his head to know that he meant every word.
Kon had just spoken when Joai, appeared right in front of Karh holding the bowl out to him and going as far as to help him steady the bowl even as he poured the content down Karh's throat as he knelt on the ground.
{Ding…You are the worst candidate for inheritance I've ever seen}
{You're obviously going to die like this…why struggle. From your memories, it's obvious that whatever's in that bowl is slowly killing you}
{Let's see, mmm….
{Yeap, you're indeed dying}
Karh completely ignored the voice in his head concentrating instead of how miserable his body felt as he got to his feet.
Yet, just like before Kon made him wait for at least five minutes before he finally let him go.
{How exactly are you going to kill all six of them like this} the deep voice in his head said in a clearly pissed-off tone, as Karh struggled out of Kon's house making his way towards the path leading to where he met Nox and Froh fighting.
{Isn't it better for you to just die…}
'Aren't you supposed to be on my side?' Karh couldn't help but ask was he paused on the way, sweat already streaming down his face as he wondered why the effects of whatever he had just drank were so much more painful than the one he took before.
{I'm on the inheritor's side and last I checked, you're still on your way to failing the initiation Quest}
Karh sighed in his heart no longer speaking, choosing to conserve and convert the remaining energy he had towards walking in the direction he needed to go.
Thankfully, He didn't have to walk for a long time before he came across Nox and Forh, his third and fourth brothers already engaged in a fight.
{What? Are you going to watch and wait and just when the both of them are at the brink of death jump forward and stab them one after the other? If not…then…}
'Do I have to be the one to kill them? What if someone else does? Shouldn't it be fine as long as all six of them are dead?}
{System Initiation Quest: Kill all six brothers}
{If any of them is killed by anyone else but you, then you fail}
Hearing its response, as he continued watching the fight, with his fingers clenched tightly over his stomach to lessen the pain, Karh couldn't help but admit to himself that the quest was an impossible feat. One he couldn't even fathom how he would win.
He would be lucky enough to even be able to successfully hurt one of them not to mention kill.
He watched the fight play out exactly as he had seen it before, aware of the fact that all he had to do was distract one of them at the most crucial point of the fight for the other to win.
Still, the fact that he needed to be the one to unleash the killing blow made him despair as he couldn't see how that would ever happen with the other brother there.
{Give up! You don't even have a weapon. Unless you mysteriously develop hypnotic powers, you're as good as dead!}
The very next second without waiting for the fight to end, Karh darted away as quickly as he could in the direction of his house.
No matter how much he thought about it, he couldn't imagine being able to kill any one of them by himself.
'Is there any way around it? Can the quest be changed?'
{Mhm…maybe I should add the Cahan, your father to it. What do you think?}

Hearing his response, Karh no longer spoke and simply continued walking in the direction of his house.
{You do know that time is ticking by. At this rate you'll still die a dog's death the second time around}
Karh didn't respond and simply continued walking forward deciding in his mind to walk straight to his house and rest.
He would then carefully think and plan what his actions would be in the third and remaining chance he had.
Even he himself couldn't help but admit that he saw absolutely no way of killing anyone in his present condition, especially since the pain pulsing through his body was much worse than ever before.
He walked quickly and was glad to realize that since he left earlier then he wouldn't have to meet Drue his sixth brother and if luck was on his side, he could completely avoid Rurt too.
But unluckily for him, just as he was thinking that he had escaped, he watched Rurt walk out from a corner, smirking in delight the moment he laid eyes on Karh.
Karh couldn't help it. He instantly hastened his speed ignoring the gnawing pain in his stomach but he had only just walked further a little more when Rurt ran straight in front of him intercepting him and completely blocking his path.
"...and where do you think you're going?" Rurt asked with a huge smirk on his face looking down at Karh with a clearly predatory look on his face.
Karh already knew how things would play out so he wasn't too worried and crouched his shoulders even more than before ready to show just how weak, miserable, and in pain he was for Rurt to let him go only to hear the voice in his head suddenly speak.
{This is actually a chance}
"...."
{Think about it. It's obvious that he wants your body which means that he'll be the most distracted while he's busy touching you,}
{Getting a weapon and stabbing him shouldn't be difficult}
{How will you be able to kill all six of them with one chance left if you can't kill even one this time around}
Karh heard the voice's suggestions and he couldn't help but realize that it actually made a lot of sense, as he gently looked up at Rurt his fifth brother with a slightly puzzled expression on his face.
"Oh…did you suddenly realize how good I look. As I said, I can make you feel pleasurable things. The kind you've never felt before," Rurt promised as he looked straight at his youngest brother, with a hint of disdain in his eyes.
He couldn't deny the fact that he was curious about the taste of his body and not at all worried about him being his brother since they had different mothers. Moreover, with how slender looking and weak he was he couldn't help but wonder if he was truly their father's son.
"I promise to take really good care of you," Rurt continued, raising his fingers to caress the slightly red patch of skin on his cheeks, curious to know how much more he could make more colorful marks such as the one he touched.
Karh could feel his heart begin to slowly race and pound in his chest as he felt Rurt close the distance between them the more he kept quiet listening to him speak without pulling away like he usually did.
"Okay…" Karh replied and he had barely done so when Rurt made an exaggerated gasping sound with an expression of shock on his face as he looked down at Karh with Karh also looking up at him, doing his best not to show the negative emotions he felt.
He even went ahead to lift his lips a little, giving a lame excuse of a smile before speaking again.
"You're right. I'm curious to know about this…" but he didn't even get a chance to finish when he felt both his legs leave the ground. His body was heaved up watching as Rurt slung him across his shoulder and ran straight towards his house.
For a second, Karh panicked instantly referring to his actions and wanting to open his mouth and refuse but the second he get himself be gently dropped right in Rurt's bed, watching him stare at him with a face full of lust, he knew there was no going back.
Watching Rurt slowly take off his sword sheath tied around his waist, the heavy sword falling to the ground with a big bang.
He then went ahead to take off his cloth, Karh panicked even more unable to help it as his eyes hurriedly looked around for a weapon anything he could use to kill the idiot in front of him.
{Idiot} the voice in his head whispered at that moment but Karh thought nothing of it, concentrating instead on what he planned to do.
But his heart only seemed to pound even more the moment he realized that there was absolutely no weapon around him.
His eyes widened in fright as he watched Rurt lower his body on the bed, hovering over him completely naked and aroused in a way that ignited even more fear in Karh's heart.
Karh could take it no longer as he instantly scrambled on his feet and away from the bed he had been tossed on.
A confused expression appeared on Rurt's face but Karh no longer cared. All he wanted was to leave as he hurried and darted to the aide with his eyes shuffling between Rurt and the door.
"I…I think…Another day. I'm too sick and too weak to do this today. Maybe another day…" Karh hurriedly spoke moving as quickly as he could to the aide at the same time but he had only just taken another step away when he visibly paled as he watched Rurt jump off the makeshift bed on the ground and move towards him with astounding speed.
"Do you really think I'm playing games with you?" Rurt asked grabbing Rurt by the neck before Karh could make any move or react. He forcefully him back to the bed and threw him down on it going as far as to hold him there with a huge amount of force.
"You…you're hurting me. Let me go. I swear that…another day…" Karh forcefully yelled, as he struggled against the force that held him down having completely forgotten every warning or rule he had lived by, not even thinking of coaxing Rurt in any way.
He knew his brothers enough to know that the moment he saw the red and determined look in his eyes as he reached out to grab him, he knew that Rurt had no intention to let him go until he was done.
It was fine for him to be beaten to an inch of his life over and over again, that he could leave by. What he couldn't live with was what he feared Rurt was about to do.
Rurt didn't respond to any of Karh's cries going as far as to use his legs to hold him down even more, while running his hands against his back.
"GET OFF ME!" Karh suddenly cried the moment he felt his hands against his skin, using all the force he could muster to free one of his hands bound behind him, aiming his elbow right for Rurt's face as he watched him lower his face.
"SMACK…" The sound of his his elbow connecting with Rurt's jaw rang clear in the room but Karh didn't even get a second to savor the little victory he just had as he instantly felt a searing pain rip through his arm socket.
"Ahh…"
The pain was mind-numbing, as Karh felt tears pool in his eyes even as he yelled in agony but Rurt had no intention of stopping there, as he moved to dislocate Karh's second arm with relish, his face contoured into an angry mess.
"How dare you. You're trash and you dare to hit me. I wouldn't hesitate to cut out your tongue in punishment if not that I need to hear you when we actually begin," Rurt yelled in anger before lowering his hand to tear off the waist cloth around Karh's body.
Karh was enraged. His eyes were red and the pain that still coursed through his body didn't help as trying to move his arms sent a sharp brain to his brain one that threatened to make him lose consciousness…something he couldn't let happen.
'Help me!'
Karh yelled in his mind. It was the first time he would take the initiative to talk to the voice in his head.
'I'll do anything…' he continued meaning every word as he felt Rurt hand caress his body inching lower with each second that swung by.
Still, he got no response. Not a single one even as he felt Rurt lean down until his back was plastered to his own.
'KILL ME!' Karh suddenly pleaded yelling it out loud this time around not at all minding who heard or didn't hear.
Rurt instantly chuckled in response the moment he heard Karh's words.
"You were the one who agreed. Don't worry. The first time is always rough but I…"
Karh had long ignored Rurt's words only focusing on the voice in his head shocked to finally get a response.
{He…he. Really? YOU WANT TO DIE?}
'Kill me…" Karh repeated himself and had only just spoken when he felt a searing pain in his head, feeling himself black out out completely but not before hearing seeing a couple of words flash in his head.
