The voice in his head boomed continuously and Karh could even hear the condescending tone with which he was being spoken to but he completely ignored it.

A few seconds had barely passed since he gained consciousness, but unlike other times when he daddled at the door for Roe to come out.

This time around, he fled.

As fast as his legs could carry him, he ran straight in the direction of his house without so much as tossing a wary look back for whether or not Roe had caught him running.

At that point, Karh didn't care. His eyes burned red and all he wanted was to kill Rurt.

At that moment nothing else mattered. Not Kon's wrath that he hadn't obediently waited at the door as he ordered him to, nor Roe's disdain at coming out to find out that his punching bag was gone.

Karh ran all the way to his house without taking a single break, entering through the main door and dashing straight for the only cupboard in his sparse room.

Apart from the folds of sheets on the floor as his bed without any sort of clothes embedded in-between, the only other furniture he had was a small cupboard.

In a split second, he ripped it open, his eyes frantically roaming around the inside of it, until his eyes finally zoomed in on what he was looking for.

It was a patch of brown cloth that had been tied together and tossed underneath the rest of the waist drapes in his cupboard.

Gently, as carefully as he could he untied it, beyond relieved to see the small black pill sitting there.

{If you want to kill yourself all you have to do is ask me…}

But Kahr's attention wasn't swayed as he hurriedly got on his feet, clenching the tiny patch of cloth in his hand carefully but tightly.

The very next second with a determined look in his eyes, one that seemed incapable of changing even if the world suddenly decided to come to an end, Kahr swiftly made his way out of his house.

Hurriedly moving to Rurt's own which wasn't too far away from his own.

The first thing he did was try to stabilize his breathing and the expressions on his face, knowing that if he fucked it up then he really would die and there would be no second chance.

Still, his heart raced heavily in his chest so much so that he found it difficult to breathe.

He was still standing there staring at the door when he suddenly heard a loud voice speak to him from inside.

"Aren'y you going to come in? I can hear your heart-ragged breath all the way from here,"

He was slightly stated to hear Rurt's voice but this time around, he no longer hesitated as he moved to step in.

{Is this how badly you want to die by his hands?}

Only to get no response from Karh who slowly stepped in with an extremely nervous look on his face.

{I couldn't have mistakenly wiped your memory of what happened right?}

With trembling fingers, he closed the door behind him raising his eyes to meet Rurt's own who lay on his bed in a laidback manner with a huge smirk on his face.

"What do we have here? You're the last person I'd have expected to see at my door. I was just about to send for one of my pleasure servants only for you to show up,"

"Is it my good luck or yours?"

Unwilling to allow Rurt to take all the initiative, Kahr took a few steps closer to him and opened his mouth to speak.

"With what Kon keeps feeding me, I'll probably die soon so…"

"So you want me to…" Rurt said interrupting Kahr only for him to go ahead and do the same.

"Yes, I want to feel some sort of pleasure any kind that makes me forget how terrible my life is I…I want you to fu…fuck me even if it just once and I…" Kahr hurriedly said in a rush, his eyes squeezed shut and his head slightly bent as he placed both his trembling hands close to his chest beneath his chin.

Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

His eyes were glazed slightly with tears, his face completely flushed in anger as he tried to keep all traces of the anger he felt hidden.

'Look at him looking so shy…I'm sure it's his first time,' Rurt wondered as he got off the bed and moved closer to where Kahr stood.

Hearing his approaching footsteps, Kahr didn't hesitate to pop the pill in his hand right into his mouth with his head bent, holding it carefully between his teeth as he raised his head up to look at Rurt just as he arrived.

"Seeing how willing you are then we'll take it slow. I promise you'll like it," Rurt said, intending to savor every moment knowing that the possibility of Kahr surviving in one piece was very slim.

He was never careful with his lovers which was why he kept changing them and he had no intention of starting now.

Still, he gently lowered his mouth to Kahr's own.

'Keep it together…Keep it…' Kahr muttered inwardly to himself as allowed his lips to be pried open.

Using all the adrenaline he could muster, he wrapped his arms around Rurt's neck and dived in, squinting his eyes tightly, his body trembling in anticipation until he found the perfect moment to slide the pill in his mouth right down Rurt's throat.

Kurt wasn't stupid.

The moment he felt himself swallow an unknown substance he hurriedly backed away, grabbing Kahr's neck and squeezing it without mercy.

"What the hell did you just feed me!" he yelled his hold on Kahr's neck getting tighter by the second before he released him the moment he realized that Kahr was unable to breathe.

Rurt was enraged and the killing intent around him was enough for Kahr to understand that the moment Rurt didn't believe him, he was as good as dead.

"Kurgh…krugh…It's an aphrodisiac. I planned to swallow it but you suddenly kissed me…Kurgh…I figured it would help with how…Kuf, nervous I was," Kahr hurriedly responded with a sincere look in his eyes, one he needed to conjure up to perfection.

One mistake and he would be dead before he even knew how it happened.

"I…I swear. We can wait and you'll see,"

For a few seconds, Rurt indeed waited while staring at Kahr with a wary look in his eyes, prepared to break his neck the moment he had even a tiny sense of something being wrong.

A minute quickly went by in stony silence before Rurt finally relaxed.

"You don't have the balls to kill me so I believe you," Rurt finally said, the moment he opened his mouth to speak, even as he moved closer to Kahr's body, placing his large hands around Karh's waist and dragging him towards the bed.

{What exactly does the drug do? This brother is much dumber than he looks}

Ignoring the voice in his head, Kahr had bigger problems to deal with.

He allowed himself to be led with a dazed expression on his face even as his heart raced, threatening to bust out his chest as he wondered just how long the drug was going to take to work.

He had once decided to end his trashy life and begged a healer who had come to tend to his father for some sort of poison that would hasten him on his way.

The healer had refused but instead given him a paralyzing drug.

"All you have to do is jump into a river…heck you can even set your house on fire and you'll be good to go," the healer had told him knowing that no matter how useless he was, giving a cui poison was bound to have grave consequences.

'It's taking too long…' Kahr thought knowing that he was seconds away from outrightly panicking, jumping to his feet, and dashing for the door.

"Mhmm…your skin feels so nice,"

'You Devil from hell. I wish you death in a thousand ways. I curse you until your third reincarnation. I pray death dismembers your soul right after your body! YOU PIECE OF MAGGOT-INFESTED WASTE!' Kahr internally screamed slowly realizing how hard it was to act cool, as he felt Rurt's hand slowly slide down his body.

The voice saw such a great chance, there was no way he wouldn't take it.

{All you have to do is ask. I can end your life in a split second like the last time}

Kahr would be lying if he said he wasn't tempted, already imagining the horror of what happened before happening again, especially when it quickly became obvious that the drug wasn't working.

'That Damn doctor…'

"Truthfully…I'm not feeling it," Rurt suddenly raised his head to say and Kahr was ready to kneel for seven days in thanks to all the gods.

But he had only breathed a breath of relief when Rurt swiped away the cloth around his waist and raised his upper body to knelt completely naked in front of him.

"GO AHEAD! Show me how willing you are," Rurt said and Kahr had had enough.

He dashed off the bed having already taken a couple of steps in the direction of the door, damning the consequences when he suddenly realized that something was wrong.

He was being chased and screamed at.

He instantly turned around to look at Rurt only to see him trembling from head to toe, but otherwise not moving a single step from where he knelt on the bed.

{NOT BAD. I'm sure you know the best part to cut off first}

Kahr was beyond thrilled but still careful enough to stay close to the door for a few seconds but not long enough for him to be worried that the drug would wear off.

By the time he got right in front of Rurt, he was calm as he simply stared at his extremely red face bursting full with anger.

Kahr didn't hesitate. To him, he had already wasted enough time as he looked around the room until he laid eyes on a dagger.

He could tell from the expression in Rurt's heart that he didn't believe Kahr could use it even as he watched him hold it in his hand.

But Kahr did.

Moving close to Rurt until they were a hair breath apart. He placed the dagger right on his neck and slowly began to cut from one end to the other, careful to ensure that no drop of blood splurted on him.

Kahr's hands trembled but this time for a different reason as he looked into his brother's eyes as he killed him.

'If I can kill you…then why can't I kill the rest," feeling more confident about the quest than he had ever been.

Kahr was still delighted about the stream of messages that appeared in his mind showing that he had indeed killed Rurt when he skimmed down to his utter shock.

"You joking!" Kahr couldn't help but hiss under his breath as he stared at the silver dagger in his hand, instinctively understanding that it was his reward.

{It can become invisible. How many invisible daggers have you seen?}

{Moreover, you only killed one. Just one out of six. What kind of rewards do you expect?}

Kahr knew that if he could see the person or thing behind the voice in his mind, he wouldn't hesitate to stab it to death.

Staring at the bloody dagger in his hand he wished it to become invisible and he couldn't help but be slightly shocked to see it disappear in his hands, with him being mentally aware of exactly where it was.

He was still staring at the dagger when he suddenly heard loud footsteps from outside moving quickly towards the main door.

Kahr was instantly terrified while also being fiercely calm. As long as the person that came in wasn't any of his brothers, then killing them with the dagger would be a piece of cake.
