19. Registering As An Artist

"Let's see who the top experienced artists currently are," Zach said while scrolling through a list of experienced artists.

The current top two were males with a decade of experience as a private artist under their belts, but underneath these two in third place was a female who had just recently retired from being a hero, Amelia Earheart.

It had barely been a month since she registered as a private artist, and yet her income had scaled through the roof during such a short period of time.

Due to her previous status as a hero, she was well-known among the people and especially the influential families across the five continents. This notoriety was what played a vital role in the rise of her art. However, there was one thing that set her aside from all the other top ten experienced artists.

Unlike other experienced artists who were known to easily accept talented young artists under their wings, Amelia was known to do the exact opposite.

The truth was that it was pretty difficult for young artists to impress her with their paintings. However, Zach had a trick to change all that.

He instantly filled in his online application form for not only Amelia but also the top two artists and the art guild, just in case things didn't work out with the first three.

Zach wasn't going to bet his luck on only Amelia, if things worked out according to his plans, then he would be pleased with this, but if it didn't, he'd rather have a plan B, C and D to make sure he created the best possible future for not only himself but also everyone in the mansion.

Registering with both an art guild and a private experienced artist was free. So, he had nothing to lose by sending applications to four separate places.

"All done," Zach said, resting his back on the chair. He had yet to submit his application because he would have to record a five to ten-minute short video of his paintings and himself drawing the paintings as well.

This would serve as proof that the paintings belonged to him and no other person.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

However, Zach wasn't interested in drawing just once. With the aid of the system, Zach realised that he was able to use half an hour to complete Luna's portrait which would have taken him two days to complete.

"With the plans I have in mind, I wonder how many hours I can use to complete ten paintings," Zach thought out loud and decided to see how many drawings he could make rather than just sitting down to think about it.

He dropped the tablet and walked towards his canvas.

He was curious to see how fast he could draw and paint.

He was also interested in seeing what the limit of his artistic skills was, but as for what he had in mind to draw….

His creative mind had no limits.

Twelve hours later, Zach was finally done with seventeen paintings.

To his surprise, the more he drew, the faster he became.

It was as though time itself stood still while he painted, making it seem as though he had all the time in the world to complete his drawings and paintings.

Zach placed his paintbrush down as he took three steps backwards to glance at his final painting.

This one was simply a masterpiece as it was a portrait of Miss Amelia herself which was different from all the other sixteen paintings he'd made.

After taking a look at it for another few minutes, Zach turned over to the tablet placed on a desk.

It was positioned in a way that would allow it to record every moment of his paintings. However, there was no way he was going to submit a twelve-hour recording of all his paintings.

That alone would send all the art guilds in the continent into a frenzied state. After all, no one could complete seventeen paintings within a short period of time.

'Who knows, I might even be praised as the God of art if the world were to know the truth,'

Zach chuckled as he imagined such a scenario becoming a reality. He glanced at the top right corner of the tablet and noticed that its battery level had dropped significantly.

He grabbed a mana stone and placed it on the screen of the tablet, allowing it to charge the tablet in the process.

With the influence of the dwarves, something as intricate as this had now become a mundane activity in this world.

Surfing the web had also been made easy through magic and the dwarf's expertise in technology played a huge role in this.

Since his phone was still charging, Zach decided to carry out some exercises before heading to the showers.

The moment he was done with everything, he knew he needed to eat something. He glanced towards his window and noticed the dark starry night.

"I hope Luna and Aurora found something to eat," He wondered before walking towards his bedroom door.

A few hours ago, Luna and Aurora had visited his room while he was working but the girls excused themselves the moment they noticed how focused he was in what he was doing.

Jade was still at home and there was still some leftover food from what Zach made in the morning.

The girls ate to their satisfaction before heading to their rooms to call it a night.

Meanwhile, Zach walked out of his room and headed straight to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

And upon arriving at the kitchen, he was surprised to see Jade still practising on her own.

Jade tasted the food she made but wasn't pleased with how it tasted.

She clenched her hand in rage and slammed her fist on the countertop, leaving a small crater underneath her fist.

Zach could see she was frustrated that the food didn't taste the way she wanted it to so he cleared his throat and entered the kitchen, dragging Jade's attention towards him.

"Don't tell me you're working really hard because you really do not want to kiss me," Zach jested, walking close to Jade and taking a seat beside her.
