Currently, Jade was in the dining room with an empty plate in front of her. She had reheated the food Zach made for her and although she didn't want to admit it, she couldn't deny that his food was really amazing and she was interested in knowing how he made it.
Still, she was sceptical about asking him directly because of what had happened in the dining room with Luna and Aurora.
Jade was a passionate and hardworking person who was also short-tempered, but there was one thing she hated and that was being useless or dispensable.
Jade's fear was that if she began to acknowledge Zach's talent, she wouldn't work twice as hard as before and she feared that things would only get worse if everyone in the house acknowledged Zach's exceptional cooking skills as well.
In the end, he might be the one doing all the cooking in the house.
Although cooking every day for everyone could be a bit too much for her sometimes, especially since she always got home late. Nevertheless, Jade was always more than happy to see her daily duties through to the end and bring a smile to everyone's faces.
Doing this gave her a sense of belonging and it felt good to see people depend on her for certain things.
It was just the little part she could play in bringing joy to everyone.
Everyone else was working really hard in their place of work to earn enough money to bring food to the table and Jade simply wanted to play a part in preserving the smile on everyone's faces whenever they ate together in the dining room.
However, Jade found it quite odd that Zach could cook so well, especially because he was known to stay in his room most of the time.
It didn't make sense for him to suddenly become so good at cooking.
In other words, something fishy must be going on— This was another reason why she didn't want to admit how good he was.

However, Jade didn't know Zach had no interest in taking over her role as chef of the house.

After resting a bit, Zach resumed the articles he was reading for a few more hours before going to bed.
It was the first time in his life that he had ever read so many things at once. It felt incredible and exhausting at the same time so he decided to call it a night.
The moment Zach woke up the next morning, he instantly began to plan a daily workout routine.
'I want to have a separate plan for both my morning and evening workout sessions.'
Zach didn't particularly like his current body physique. So, he wanted to build some muscles before his eighteenth birthday which was coming up in two days.
After all, he would be awakening his mana core on the day of his eighteenth birthday.
"Let's get started," Zach said and began to warm up by performing a few jumping jacks to get his blood flowing as he prepared his muscles for exercise.
He began the workout with some push-ups, lunges and planks before ending it all with pull-ups.
Right after he was done, Zach decided to step out of the mansion. It was still pretty early in the morning, so he wanted to do what he had in mind as fast as he could.
He left the mansion to carry out a thirty-minute jog. When he was done, he used a jump rope to carry out a few more exercises which helped to increase his heart rate.
He returned to his room to take a shower before thinking about how he would spend the rest of his day.
After stepping out of the shower, Zach noticed some changes in his body's build like his muscles expanding. His body movement also seemed a lot more fluid than before.
If he kept up the daily exercise routine, It would only be a matter of time before he began to have abs.
'But does this mean my attributes increase with every exercise I carry out?' He wondered and decided to take a look at his attributes to satisfy his curiosity, and to his surprise, his attributes had really increased.
Zach was impressed by this and he couldn't help thinking about the possibility of his attributes increasing even more with every exercise he did.
He took a mental note of this but his attention was suddenly drawn towards the door when he heard it opening.
His eyes fell on Luna who was peeking through the slit in the door.
"Luna?" Zach called out in surprise.
Just as she informed Aurora last night, Luna went straight to Jade's bedroom this morning to apologise.
She had been glad to see that her big sister wasn't angry at her, but it looked like Jade had been preoccupied with something before Luna's visit.
Jade had been mumbling something about being the best cook in the world or something along that line. It was really weird how she kept repeating those words, so Luna just apologized and excused herself from Jade's room.
Anyway, since she had cleared the misunderstanding with her sister, Luna could finally focus on what she really wanted to do this morning and that was to taste her big brother's delicious cooking again.
She was certain that Zach had a lot more wonderful recipes in that beautiful head of his.
"Good morning big brother," She greeted, walking into Zach's room with a smile on her face.
"Good morning Luna." He responded
"You are already awake?" She asked in surprise.
"Of course, I am. Don't you want me to be awake?"
"No, that isn't the case. I'm just surprised to see you awake so early in the morning."
"Oh, I see. Well, you will have to get used to it from now on. So what brings you here this morning? I'm pretty sure we do not have any portrait sessions scheduled for today. Or wait, don't tell me you're here because you are hungry?" Zach asked. But before Luna could respond to his question, a knock sounded on his door and startled Luna.
