Turn 5: A Dragon Emerges

The King smiled and said, “Indeed.” He took his next card and threw it onto the field. Beneath his warrior, a nightmarish creature of darkness rose -a two-headed Oblivion dragon.

Jaeden assessed the new creature that entered the field.

“Surprise, surprise, an overpowered card I’ve never seen before.” Jaeden thought.

The warrior mounted the beast, and while he had appeared large before, the scales shifted with the beast’s size. The dragon and warrior together were enormous, managing to dwarf Xander’s Infernal Goliath.

Jaeden realized they might be in trouble. The mirror image of the knight also had a mount. They were a shadowed reflection of the original mount and dragon. Though they didn’t duplicate their motions exactly, when one roared, the other roared silently. Jaeden thought, “Oh, shit.”

The Twilight King said, “Your turn.”
