Looking over the changes, Jaeden began to connect the dots. His mind raced as he calculated the trends in his stats and skill points. The patterns revealed themselves quickly, and he made a mental note of what he’d discovered.
For one, he now realized he’d been earning two attribute points per Circle from levels 1 to 10. But since entering the next Tier, that number had increased to three points per Circle. A similar progression applied to his skill points - they had jumped from four per Circle to five.
“Great. More math,” he muttered with mock exasperation.
But the implications excited him. For the first time, he truly understood how much room he had to grow, how much power remained untapped. His unspent points - 35 attribute points and 65 skill points - glowed enticingly on the ledger. Each number felt like a door waiting to be opened, leading to possibilities he hadn’t dared imagine.
His gaze lingered on the Status Effects section, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “Heart of Asterius, Titan’s Resilience, and Hydra Slayer… Looks like I’m building the ‘Unstoppable Tank’ package by accident,” he mused aloud.
“You’re not wrong,” Sassy quipped from her perch on his shoulder. “But let’s not forget ‘Camouflage.’ You’re basically a walking swamp ninja. Real stealthy. Super inconspicuous.”
“Thanks for that,” Jaeden replied dryly, though he couldn’t help chuckling. “I’ll be sure to sneak my way to victory.”
Sassy grinned, her metallic wings shimmering as she leaned closer. “Or you could just hit things really, really hard. It’s working so far.”
Jaeden sighed, shaking his head but unable to suppress his grin. As he continued scanning the ledger, his excitement grew. Maybe he’ll finally get a stealth ability.
