Turn 11: Harlequin of Havoc

King Cicero grinned wickedly. “Oh, a fair play indeed,” he said. “But let’s see how your cage holds up against the unknown.”

The shadowy figure beside the King drew a card, and the grin widened even further. “Allow me to introduce you to my favorite trickster,” he declared, flicking the card onto the field. “The Harlequin of Havoc!”

Harlequin of Havoc

Type: Elite Creature Card

Rarity: God-Tier

Description: A jester-like figure clad in motley, juggling daggers that gleam with a chaotic energy. The Harlequin’s face is painted with an eerie, mocking grin, and the air around it warps with unpredictable distortions. Behind it, shadows twist and dance, as if alive, mirroring the Harlequin’s every move with sinister intent.

Abilities:

* [Enhanced Nullify]: Each turn, choose one card to nullify. This card becomes unusable for the rest of the match.

* [Chaotic Reflection]: The Harlequin of Havoc creates a mirrored copy of an enemy creature on the battlefield. The copy has 50% of the original’s Attack and Defense but gains an additional ability: [Chaos Strike], which deals random elemental damage (fire, ice, lightning) upon attacking.

* [Trickster’s Play]: For each nullified card, the Harlequin gains +3 Attack and +3 Defense. Additionally, the Harlequin has a 50% chance to evade all incoming attacks.

* [Pandemonium Aura]: While the Harlequin of Havoc is on the battlefield, all enemy creatures suffer -2 Attack and -2 Defense due to the disorienting effects of the Harlequin’s presence. This aura also increases the Harlequin’s chance to reflect spells back at the caster by 25%.

Game Message: “The Harlequin of Havoc cackles madly, its chaotic influence warping reality itself! Cards are nullified, foes are mirrored, and havoc reigns on the battlefield as the Harlequin dances through the chaos unscathed.”

The Harlequin of Havoc emerged onto the battlefield where he twirled and spun, juggling three daggers. As he danced, the surrounding air seemed to shimmer and distort.

“Meet my shadow jester’s companion,” the Twilight King said with a dramatic flourish. “The Harlequin of Havoc has a special ability. For each turn he is on the field, he can nullify one card from your deck. The Harlequin has chosen... your Faraday’s Cage!”

The motley-clad figure pointed a dagger at the cage, and with a snap of his fingers, the shimmering barrier around us vanished.

“Oh, you bastard!” Xander shouted. “That was our defense!”

“Well played,” Jaeden muttered. “But we still have our strategy. Just keep calm.”

The Twilight King continued to smirk as he placed a card face down on the field. “Your move, boys.”
