Chapter 23: Rapier Training and Tactics.
*Eleina’s POV*
Avenia guided me further into the academy. And after like ten minutes, we finally came to a huge building. Inside the building, it was mainly a room that looked similar to a gymnasium that would be in a school from my world.
Avenia: “Impressive, right? This building was made specifically for testing dangerous magic. There are two of them, but I have permission to use this one as I see fit.” She said with a proud tone.
Eleina: “Yes, it is very impressive.” I reply.
Avenia: “You don’t sound too impressed.” She said with one of her hands on her hip.
Eleina: “Well, it just seems like a building to me.” I reply with a shrug.
Avenia: “Really? Well, to knock one of the walls down in this building, you would at least need to have the strength of a dragon.” She boasted.
Ah, I guess that would be impressive. Sorry, I am just far too impressed that dragons actually exist in this world to be surprised by a building…
Avenia: “How good of a relationship do you have with your sisters?” She asked with a thinking pose.
I forgot to mention, but Vina and Tia are also with me. Because of what happened yesterday, they have been very silent. Maybe from shame? Ah, right, I am mentioning them, because they seem to have gone on guard.
Eleina: “I have a pretty “good” relationship with them, why do you ask?” I reply.
Avenia: “I have seen them around. They’re vampires, did they drink your blood?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.
At this, my maids ran in front of me to protect me. How the heck did she figure out Iris and Rena’s true race? I was right about this woman being special…
Avenia: “No need to be on guard. I have no intention of hurting your master, nor do I have any intention to tell others about your sisters being vampires.” She said with a shrug.
Eleina: “Then why bring it up?” I ask.
Avenia: “Your strength isn’t normal. Are you really sisters with them?” She asked with a curious tone.
Well, if something bad happens, those two can just deal with it, so I might as well just go ahead and tell her the truth.
Eleina: “We aren’t sisters. They’re actually my wives, which is why I have their elements. My two maids had drunk my leftover blood from my bed, so that is why I have their elements as well.” I reply with a nonchalant tone.
Avenia: “I see, I see… That would explain that whole event. Honestly, I was surprised to see you at general combat. I would have guessed that you’d just stick to fighting with magic.” She said.
Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
Eleina: “Mana runs out, so it would be useful to know how to fight without magic.” I reply.
Avenia: “Smart. I am what is known as a weapons master. As such, I know how to use every weapon. Should I teach you all of them?” She asked with a curious tone.
Eleina: “If you’re willing, then sure.” I reply with a smile.
Avenia: “Good, good. Because you have cheated by being bonded to two very powerful vampires, we do not have to work on your stamina or speed. We can just jump straight into learning how to fight.” She said with an excited tone.
As such, my training with Avenia began. At first, I chose to start with learning how to use daggers or knives. It seemed to be a good starting point.
She did not hold back whatsoever. Which was good for me, since I could now figure out how strong, and how fast I am. Ah, this training is going to be amazing!
*Hours later.*
The training was actually really, really fun! Sure, I would get injured a few times, but I always healed quickly. And I was learning so much!
Look! Avenia has a pissed off expression on her face. Did I upset her in some way? Well, if you count learning how to use a weapon, within only a few hours, as a bad thing, then yes.
Keep in mind, I did not master it, but I have a really good grasp on how to fight with knives. I think that I only need her to teach me how to fight with knives for only a few more days.
Avenia: “It pisses me off at how fast you’re learning!” She exclaimed.
Eleina: “Doesn’t that just mean that you’re a good teacher?” I say after dodging her strike, before slashing her neck with my knife.
No. I did not just kill her. Barrier magic is under the general magic category as well. And she can use mana. She taught me how to use barrier magic, and we just put up a barrier, so that we don’t get any terrible injuries. You can still get injuries, but they amount to bruises.
Avenia: “Let’s just go with that then.” She said with a sigh.
I then walked over to her, and since she fell on her butt from my strike, I helped her up off the ground.
Avenia: “You should have military tactics class today, right? It is starting soon, although, I would like to train more with you.” She said with a laugh.
I bowed to her, and then I walked out of the training building with my maids in tow. With my destination being military tactics class. I was kinda curious about what will be taught.
Would it be boring shit? Or like, really interesting stuff? Only one way to find out!
Guided by my maids, who somehow know where each of my classes are located at, I ended up at my last class of the day a few minutes later.
When I went into the room, I instantly noticed Rena and Iris in the room. I guess that this was one of the other classes that we share. The only other one that I know for a fact about, is magic class.
Wait… how did they do all of their makeup classes already? Shouldn’t they be doing that right now?…
Iris: “Eleina, come over and sit with us.” She said with a warm tone.
Eleina: “Okay.” I reply with a smile.
Once again seated in between the two cute vampires, I felt like this is where I belonged… Which is an odd thought, I know.
Eleina: “What happened to your makeup classes?” I ask with a quiet tone.
Rena: “Doing them would have been a hassle, so we just used charm magic.” She answered.
Iris: “No. We won’t cheat for every class, just for this one occasion, where we had no choice.” She said with a small laugh.
No choice in the sense that they didn’t want to miss spending time with me… Which is actually quite cute, if I am being honest.
Anyway, I wanted to talk with them more, but the teacher showed up. Once he came into the room, the lesson started. It was… actually interesting.
He said that for now, classes would just be about various successful military plans, or tactics, from every kingdom. And once we know them, we will be given assignments, and have to write out our own tactics to win a battle that he comes up with.
I have always loved a good brain game! The only real problem that this class has, was that the teacher was quite old, so the lesson was at a snail’s pace.
Because of that, I ended up not paying attention to his lesson. I would much prefer to find books on what he is teaching, and binge read them as fast as I can.
Most likely noticing that my attention to the class was waning, the two cute princesses started to rub my thighs. Look, I don’t know how many classes that we have together, but if you two do this at all of them, my grades will be absolutely terrible…
