An hour passed anxiously outside. The cave was now filled with cultivators who arrived hastily and watched the Tablet of the Malevolent God with bated breath. They all emanated a dense Qi that made everything around them cold, with a smell of blood that could make the mind spin.
The recruitment officer from the Vital Yin Sect was stunned. Fifteen minutes before the end of the test, the Tablet of the Malevolent God began to tremble and emit a dense pressure, a clear sign that a terrifying talent had emerged.
Past records left no doubt. It was an Asura-level talent born among these recruits. Everyone awaited eagerly, forgetting to even breathe. The younger ones were in awe as it had been ten thousand years since an Asura-level talent had appeared. None of them could imagine the potential that this talent might possess. Only legends and records spoke of things that seemed like ridiculous fairy tales.
The top elders of the three sects were ready to offer a lot and recruit this talent at any cost for their sect. A talent of this level could destabilize the balance of power among the three. The two sects below the Vital Yin Sect finally saw an opportunity to become the greatest in the future.
But... with only a few minutes left, something even stranger happened. The entire Celestial Abyss City shook on a large scale. All the more experienced cultivators felt it immediately as the epicenter of the tremor was coming directly from the Abyss Prison. Something even more frightening was being born there.
All eyes sharpened and tensed. All the main cultivators of the three major clans focused their consciousness on that small cave. In the next second, the gray Qi began to emerge at the center, and everyone became tense.
Only a single presence was taking shape within the Qi. This made everyone even more scared. All eyes widened, and then a two-meter figure emerged.
All eyes focused. It was a woman. And a second later, nine other figures emerged, but no one paid attention to them. They were all slaves, and some were injured. Soon, they cowered behind the woman.
The woman saw those looks and felt some lascivious glances directed at her. Anger and a dense aura of death emanated from her as a result. She then looked back as if waiting for something.
Soon, the gray Qi around her condensed and moved toward the Tablet of the Malevolent God. Everyone turned to the Tablet, tense. Right after, another tense and powerful voice shouted, "Quickly state your name using your Qi."
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
The woman snorted and whispered low, as if mocking the owner of the voice, but the Tablet began to record anyway.
Langrum - Asura-level Talent.
Most were petrified, and the main evil cultivators began preparing for an intense dispute over this talent.
But at the same time, some much older evil cultivators looked at her, analyzing coldly. There was no excitement in them... until one spoke lightly, "It's not her. Never before in history have we had records of these phenomena, but an Asura has occurred several times. She has nothing to do with what happened."
Everyone stopped, understanding; this elder was one of the oldest and most experienced, and no one doubted his words.
A few silent seconds passed, and then a new furious snort emerged. "It seems like everyone died. The command given was for everyone inside the first prison to return in one hour."
Everyone understood those words well. Something very strange happened, and the epicenter was the prison. While everyone was pensive, the cultivator leading the Vital Yin Sect's test took a step toward Langrum.
In his gaze, there was no longer the arrogance from before. He was visibly shaken by the talent and mortal danger she represented. However, the slaves near her revealed which sect she planned to join, so he should show his pride in front of his new disciple.
"Which sect will you choose to enter?" he asked lightly, maintaining an upright posture.
The other cultivators from the other sects woke up from their stupor. They were distracted and ended up being left behind.
Langrum turned to him, her eyes slowly scanning him from top to bottom. She waved gently, and a lascivious expression appeared, sending a cold sweat down the man's back.
"I will go to the only sect that allows me to have fun as I please. By the way, I'm looking for a few more who can satisfy me," she replied, making the man tremble for a moment.
He then snorted, feigning a ridiculous air, and tossed a black emblem to her, which she caught with an even more lascivious smile and spoke again, "I love the shy ones."
All the main cultivators from the other two sects jumped, startled. This was too quick; they had to interfere and try to recruit her. But before they could open their mouths, their legs abruptly froze, as if an invisible force had taken control, while a dense Infernal Law enveloped everything.
The atmosphere tensed once again. A few minutes after the end of the test, something new began to manifest in the shadows, a form that solidified and thickened among the gray laws of the prison.
Attention converged on the figure gradually taking shape. The silhouette took form, rising in height, as imposing as the first woman.
Then, it began to expand... sideways. Observers frowned, perplexed by the colossal and rounded dimension. When the truth emerged, astonishment took over: that face revealed a manifestation of extreme corpulence... a giant and robust whale.
Zane and Gael stood still, observing those looks directed at them. 'Damn, we messed up big time. We have to try something...' Gael commented strangely.
A second later, Mira's figure formed on their shoulders. She immediately saw all those eyes directed at her master, so she took a deep breath, straightening her spine with pride.
The gray Qi around them intensified and returned to the Tablet. Then, a guttural and somewhat fearful voice echoed, "You, state your name with your Qi."
Gael, feeling terrible, tried to dodge it. "Do I really have to? It's not like names are important..."
"Shut up and say your name!" Other voices spoke together in extreme anxiety.
Zane then had an idea. 'Perhaps if we use a fake name, the Tablet will not find us. Maybe it will give a very low rate if we do it!'
Gael's eyes lit up as he immediately agreed with Zane. 'Great! Let's give it a try!'
Right after, he looked at the Tablet before saying. "Goku!"
Zane was speechless for a moment... 'Where the hell you got that idea?'
'Shut up!' Gael retorted back. 'I panicked a little!'
The Tablet glowed, and the result appeared. – Goku, Godly Evil Talent!
Gael wanted to cry; they used a different name to try to hide the outcome, but it seemed it didn't work.
