Zane was alarmed and immediately forced the activation of Qi in the meridians. Immediately, the meridians, shrunk by the suppression that could barely hold the Qi still, began to tremble, and cracks appeared in every corner.
The gigantic body fell to its knees, followed by a large spurt of blood. "You idiot, are you trying to kill us?" shouted Gael, but he was also stunned.
They held Mira firmly, unconscious and with her small lifeless body, trying to analyze the situation, but they seemed helpless. "Her meridians have been refined and hold a large amount of Qi; she won't die quickly. Think of something fast!" Zane said as he quickly calmed down. If they died as well, there would be no point.
Gael's mind worked fervently, and then Zane spoke, "Her soul isn't sealed; she can't be put in the inventory. Damn, if we had known that before..."
"There's nothing to be done; we have to release our Qi somehow quickly," said Gael, focusing on his body.
Their world was crumbling, and suddenly, all the compressed Qi inside their muscles was activated. That was the Qi used in the Body cultivation, which they tried to redirect. However, now the bones were pressed to the limit, starting to crack under the extreme pressure.
The entire gigantic body began to tremble, and blood started to pour from their eyes and ears like a waterfall. "Damn, our physical cultivation isn't enough," Gael commented, feeling helpless.
Finally, Zane made a decision. "Put everything out, don't care about this body. If it doesn't work, I'll activate the full power of my soul, even if afterward we have to find a new body."
Minutes passed like a frenzied storm; the entire crimson mist around them was mixed with a dense scent of strange and earthy blood. Their bodies were covered in blood, and their eyes were closed, appearing to have been trampled by a giant beast.
Suddenly, their eyes snapped open, and within their pupils, two pulsating runes could be seen. A wave of furious energy emerged, burning their clothes and revealing veins that bulged tensioned to the extreme under the skin.
Each pulsation of those runes seemed to signal an imminent explosion from within that gigantic red body. More and more blood gushed from every pore and possible corner; all the once-white skin, now changed to red, was marked by eerie black lines.
"There's no way. I'm going to use all the Yin I have. Otherwise, she won't survive for long," Zane said, seeing that the options were disappearing. They even burned the medium runes of the formation they stole from the clan in a desperate attempt, but even those runes were suppressed.

Suddenly, Gael sighed heavily, swallowing more blood; they were going to completely destroy this body and would have to look for another. But it was in this deep sigh that he felt something strange invading his mind. It was that peculiar sensation coming from those strange laws.
Then, a sudden idea sprouted in his mind. 'Wait! Maybe something will work.'
Gael rummaged through the spatial inventory and moved the main rune of the formation, which was firmly covered by earth laws. This rune had power far beyond what they could endure; just removing it and releasing its full power could make their bodies explode. Use it for something? That was impossible at the moment.
Gael then removed only a small crack from the seal placed by Mira on the rune. An avalanche of blood Qi exploded, causing the eyes of Gael and Zane to roll back, almost losing consciousness.
Zane seemed to quickly understand Gael's thoughts, even without exchanging a single word. Immediately, he did not hesitate to join Gael. The two, working together, possessed a mastery that once surpassed mortal scope. Then, a small thread of this blood Qi was moved from the inventory space into their bodies.
BOOM!!!
A muffled but powerful sound reverberated in the surroundings. A few cultivators who were undergoing the test heard the noise. As they arrived, most of them hid, trying to stabilize their bodies and understand what was happening to that place.
After the bang, everyone could feel the laws around them moving fervently. It was as if a great force were compelling them, making them even more fearful of venturing out.
Dust began to settle around Zane and Gael. That round body now looked more like a ground meat patty, with red and black tones mixed in. Anyone looking would think it was the remains of a decomposing body, partially devoured by a beast.
But, upon careful observation, they would see a piece of meat stretching forward. It was an arm, and in front of it, on the ground, a little girl lay unconscious, with a cold and pale expression. Mira was in her final moments; in that environment, she wouldn't survive more than a few minutes.
Zane and Gael protected her using the power of the earth in the necklace they gave her as a gift. At that moment, they opened their eyes in the midst of that minced meat pile. They observed with a trembling gaze Mira still unconscious, realizing they had no more time. That was when a new muffled explosion reverberated.
The space quivered, and the scarlet mist changed direction, being pushed away.
The giant body began to tremble and crack. Suddenly, the skin seemed to change color to something dry, and then it started to fall like an insect shedding its skin. But before it even began to fall completely, an explosion of energy hastily threw all the skin away.
"Success! The Flesh Training is finally complete!" exclaimed Gael. (Check Chapter 19 if you wish to remember the three stages of the body cultivation technique.)
Essentially, Gael and Zane activated a small fraction of the main rune to destroy the body in a controlled manner. The rune had death and blood power due to the countless beast cores used to create it. Blood and death seemed to connect very well with the infernal laws of this place, too. This was all thanks to the high level of the rune, which wasn't any smaller than this dimension.
With the laws invading their flesh, they forcefully refined them with the power of the main rune they acquired back in the Divinestone Clan. Even without the symbol of the evil god, they managed to merge with these laws thanks to their physical cultivation. Now, their physical cultivation was strong enough not to be suppressed, allowing them to do something to save Mira.
'We don't have time. Let's use the Yin and Yang tattoos to infuse Qi into her.' Zane said in a hurry.
The tattoos lit up on their palms. All the Qi in their meridians was still suppressed, and now the meridians were damaged. But the physical cultivation fused Qi into the body, and they withdrew it directly from the muscles and hastily infused it into her.
An explosion of energy was discharged into her small body while every muscle of hers contorted with full force as if a lightning bolt were passing through.
The sound of a heartbeat returning echoed. Seconds later, her small, trembling eyes opened slowly. The first thing she saw was the intense and tense gaze of Zane and Gael over her. Then, she felt a pain pressing on her chest.
She looked at her master and noticed that his naked skin was glowing intensely. 'He... he's without clothes?'
Suddenly, she saw his arms reaching directly toward her, and as she followed, she saw that they were pressing on her chest. Then she got scared...she realized that they were directly touching her equally naked chest and body.
