Waltzing Roulette: Dancing Battle is Verus's particular spell, and these unique spells are called Augurium, and every Sorcerer has their own unique Augurium; usually, a Sorcerer only have one Augurium per person, and they would have one or more Augurium that would support their primary spell called Sub-Augurium.

But how would one make an Augurium? Well, that is a question that Ky would find out soon.

'Ok, this was fun at first, but now I feel more annoyed than fun.' This is the thought Ky has in his head while dodging all the spinning tops approaching him from all directions.

'These spinning tops' speed seems to be nearly as fast as a bullet but a little bit slower. They seem to be moving as if they have their mind.' Ky thought while his eyes kept taking a glimpse toward Verus, 'Is he controlling it with his mind, or are these spinning tops moving on their own like homing missiles without the need of a command? If these spinning tops hit me, it would without a doubt knock me out, if not kill me; the only reason that I am being able to dodge these attacks in the first place is that. . . Well, because I'm me.'

As Ky keeps dodging the spinning tops, Verus has been staring at him the entire time with a smile; however, despite his smile, he is seemingly panicking inside his mind right now.

'How is this bastard keep dodging my attacks!?' Verus thought, 'I thought he nothing but a beginner! He is not a proper Sorcerer yet! Even with me being a Mid-Rank D Sorcerer, there is still a big difference between a new Sorcerer and an experience Sorcerer!'

As he starts to panic internally, Verus shakes his head, trying to calm himself down, 'No, I should not be panicking. Even with him being able to dodge my attacks, he would try out eventually; right now, it is a battle of attrition. I could easily outlast him when he doesn't have proper control over his mana. If he doesn't figure out my weakness, this is a. . .!'

However, before Verus can finish his thought, Ky interrupts it by dashing toward the direction of Verus, who had been standing still the entire time, causing Verus to jump back to dodge a punch from Ky. But what makes Verus surprised is what he sees with Ky mana right now. Something that should not be possible.

'His mana. . . It stops leaking!! Is he instinctively performing Difundir!?'

At the same time, Ky smirks while noticing the spinning tops when he decides to attack Varus.

Ky thought, 'Is this what mana feels like? I admit it feels pretty nice. This feeling, it's like I'm standing in lukewarm water; it's like there is some invisible shield protecting me.'

However, Ky and Verus are not the only ones who notice this; Colt, who had been watching the battle the entire time, also has a shocked expression.

'He already knows how to do Difundir!? Is he doing that instinctively, or is he already know how to control his mana? But no matter the case, it can only mean one thing.' As Colt continues his thought, he comes to one single conclusion, 'He has a potential; however, how big is that potential? Because potential like him are not the first and certainly not the last.'

After Verus jumps away from Ky and lands back on the ground, the spinning tops attack Ky again. However, Ky didn't do what he did last time and decided to become more aggressive and run in the direction of Verus, the latter of whom, instead of jumping away this time, took a combat stance, seemingly readying to have a hand-to-hand fight with Ky.

Ky did not panic and took the challenge head-on. Reaching his attack range, both Ky and Verus start to trade exchange, fists after fists, kicks after kicks, both of them trade blows to blows; however, the one who seems to be in the back seat is Verus himself, who, no matter how hard he tries, can never land a single solid blow on Ky.

For every one punch Verus threw, Ky would block or counter it before following it up with attacks of his own.

'What the hell is he!? How the hell is he so good at hand-to-hand combat!? Isn't he supposed to be a civilian until today?! Even with him having somehow experience in a sport like boxing, fighting for real is different from fighting in sport!!' Verus is no longer smiling and trying his hardest to block Ky's attack as best as possible.

However, at the same time, Ky, who had been exchanging blows with Verus, also took notice of all the spinning tops that had been staying on the ground, spinning, not doing anything.

'His spinning tops are not attacking me right now? Why is that? Is he afraid that his spinning tops will hit him? No, that should not be right; I highly doubt he would be hurt that badly being hit by his attack. When I decide to attack him for the first time, the spinning tops also stop attacking me when I do so.' Ky thought, 'It seems there is more to this guy's ability than I thought.'

As their blows exchange continues, Verus starts to get desperate, his attacks become more erratic, and panic shows visibly on Verus's face.

'I'm not going to be defeated by some fucking newbie!!' As Verus thought this, he sent a straight kick right into Ky's stomach, which already saw it was coming and decided to block the attack with both of his arms; however, unexpectedly, the strength of the kick was enough to send Ky backwards by quite a distance.

'What? That kick has more strength than it should have! Even with him being superior in strength, it should not be that strong! Compared to his previous attacks, that one hit the hardest!' Ky thought while looking at his arms, where there were visible injuries on his arm after using it to block the kick from Verus.

However, before Ky can continue his thought, the spinning tops start to attack him again, causing him to start dodging again.

'It seems Verus decide to use Enforcar out of desperation, yet, that man, Ky, still block the attack with not that heavy of an injury. Look like the one who can come out on top of this fight can be anyone.' Colt thought while still observing the fight in front of him.

As Ky dodges the attack, most of his attention is inside of his head, trying to figure out the weakness of Verus, 'Maybe my eyes are playing trick on me, but I think I see a white aura covering the guy(Verus) body similar to this aura surrounding my own body. It would be safe to say that this white aura I see is mana. And when he attacks me with a kick, I see that the mana surrounding him focuses on one spot on his leg and foot. It would be safe to assume that focusing mana in one place would increase the strength of one attack and defence.'

As Ky continues to dodge the attacks, his thought continues to move at a fast pace, still trying to figure out how to defeat Verus, 'When I attack him, those spinning tops stop attacking me, and when we exchange blows, the spinning tops didn't come to attack me while doing so, does that mean he can only control spinning tops while only standing still? That would explain why the spinning top didn't attack me while we exchanged blows or why he is not pushing toward me and trying to fight me.' As Ky continues to dodge the attack, his thought continues, 'While that weakness is not confirmed, it is highly likely true. So I should finish this fast. I should finish this fast because if this continues, I will certainly be lost the battle if it turns into a battle of attrition. Besides, this would be the perfect time to test how to use mana.'

As he finishes his thought, Ky finally decides and rushes toward Verus, who had been standing still while dodging the attack from all the spinning tops. But there were significant differences this time; the mana surrounding Ky's body like a shield started to move quickly before focusing on one spot of Ky's body, his right leg and foot.

'His mana is focusing on one spot!?' Verus thought, 'Not only can he use a Difundir instinctively, but he is now also performing Enforcar!?'

However, Verus didn't move from his spot despite the thought inside his head. If anything, a smile creeps upon the face of Verus, 'It seems that he is planning to finish this fight right here and now. . . Bring it, you bastard!'

Arriving at his attack range, Ky is about to attack Verus right there; however, Ky takes notice of something, and the smile on Verus's face has turned into a full-blown smirk which Ky quickly notices. Expectedly, Verus jumps back to get away from Ky's attack range; however, something else also happens, something unexpected Ky can hear the sound of a spinning top coming from behind him, indicating that it is aiming to attack him from behind.

'Ha! You fell for it, dumbass!' Verus shouts inside his mind, 'You probably thought I couldn't control my spinning tops while moving; well, you are fucking wrong, you dumbass! With you using Enforcar, it leaves your entire body exposed!

"You are fucking finished, you idiot!" Verus shouted toward Ky

With the speed of the oncoming spinning top, it would be near impossible for Ky to dodge the attack. With no mana surrounding his body, he is incredibly exposed, so if anything has to go by, it should be an easy victory for Verus. However. . .

"You the idiot one here, dumbass," Ky answers back, letting out a smirk of his own and causing Verus's eyes to widen in shock.

As the spinning top comes near Ky's back before it can even make contact with Ky, the man suddenly jumps in the air while also performing a spinning turn, entirely dodging the single spinning top. However, Ky doesn't stop there; with his right leg and foot still being the state of Enforcar, Ky delivers a kick toward the said spinning top with his right leg, kicking it like a football, sending it flying toward Verus who didn't expect this turn of an event.

'He is using my spinning top to attack me!?' Verus is caught in surprise, 'Shit! I have no time to block it!! Am I going to fucking lose to a newbie!?'

With Ky's strength being reinforced by Enforcar, the force of the kick is powerful, and the speed of the spinning top is faster than a bullet itself. With Verus's surprise and the attack rate, Verus had no time to put up his guard and was not ready to receive the attack.

With no time to react, Verus immediately got hit in the head by his spinning top, creating a loud booming sound; not only that, the force of the attack was enough to immediately knock Verus back while also causing him to lose consciousness.

And just like that, without a single fanfare, Verus was knocked out, totally losing consciousness by his spinning top that Ky kicked at him.

"That was lukewarm," Ky says while looking at the unconscious Verus before turning toward Colt, who looks surprised, "It was a nice warm-up; how about we do the real test next."
