The transformation

The transformation

The silence was tense, not awkward. Kyle kept glancing over at Ashlee as the movie was about to start. She, on the other hand, had no idea what was going to happen. She filled her mouth with popcorn and stared at the screen curiously.

The movie started with a girl running from home and bumping into a man at least double her age. He weirdly smirked at her and forcibly took her with him.

"What the fuck was that?" Ashlee muttered under her breath. Kyle could hear her anyway. His amusement and curiosity were taking the best of him.

Then the plot switched, and it continued with the girl crying and begging the man to let her go. He then sold her at the auction. What was even more surprising was that Ashlee was more confused than ever but still watching it anyway.

The movie continued with a man buying the girl and using her for sex. The first explicit scene flashed, leaving Ashlee speechless. She stopped eating and curled herself up in her blanket.

"Don't you want to eat more? The best part is yet to come." Kyle smirked, teasing her effortlessly.

"YOU SICK PERVERT!" She gritted her teeth, shutting down the movie when some weird voices started filling the room.

"I'm not a pervert. That was all that you had." Kyle shrugged his shoulders, chuckling, making her cringe even more.

"Then you could have restrained yourself from putting that on. You are a pervert. I am fully convinced now." She eyed him up and down. He was surprised by her bluntness.

"Huh!" Kyle scoffed, taking out a bottle of wine. Where did he get that?

"What the hell?" Ashlee's eyes were fixed on the bottle. "Don't tell me you are going to drink it."

"Why not? I'm legal in your language." Kyle rolled his eyes at Ashlee being a mom. He was more than the legal age. He was older than Ashlee, and that could be seen just by looking at him. He was this big bulky guy. Who would think he was a high school boy?

"Where did you even bring that from?" Ashlee was bewildered. Kyle was with her this whole time. When did he even bring the wine?

"I found it here." He replied without even being concerned. He doesn't even care if it was his house or someone else's. It's alcohol, after all. Why would he care?

"Put it down. You can't drink that." She hissed, getting out of her blanket and attempting to take the bottle out of his hands. But with a swift, flawless move, he took the bottle in his hands and stood up, pinning his arm above his head.

"What the hell are you doing, Kyle? Give me the bottle!" Ashlee yelled with an irritated face.

"Nope." Kyle popped his lips, sipping directly from the bottle.

"Give it to me." Ashlee jumped and attempted to snatch it but couldn't succeed as Kyle turned around.

"It's so good." Kyle grinned at her, mocking her.

"Who's going to be responsible when you are drunk, which you likely seem to be with just a sip? I'm not going to take care of you. Give me the bottle back! NOW!" Ashlee demanded, clinking her bare feet on the ice-cold floor.

Kyle bent down to her face, staring deeply into her eyes. Fortunately, his face was at a distance from hers, but still, it couldn't help but make Ashlee's heart flutter.

"Don't tell me you've never drunk before." Kyle sighed, seeing her wide-eyed at his question. "You don't even know what life is yet. You are such a kid." He shook his head and sat back down.

"What do you mean? I... I'm not a kid." Ashlee knew better than anyone else how much of a good girl she always had been.

"Oh really?" Kyle almost flipped down half the bottle. He smirked, looking at her and extending the bottle towards her. "Drink it then." He dared her with his pointy dark eyes.

She was never going to lose to him. "Of course, I will." She said with a stern voice and took the bottle from him.

Rather than just gulping it down, she looked at the bottle and regretted her life decisions. 'Why did I take it?' She still was unsure if she should gulp it down or throw it out.

"Forget it." Kyle sighed, taking the bottle back from her hands.

All of a sudden, an urge overwhelmed Ashlee, and she snatched the bottle back. Without uttering a word, she gulped down everything that was left in it. It was sure to soar to her throat, but she squeezed her eyes shut, flinching her fist. She had it all down in her stomach, and her brain was spinning.

With a popping sound, the bottle left her lips. Her cheeks burned with the heat. Kyle gulped down, scared. 'Did she just have it all in one go?' His eyes couldn't leave her for a second.

"Anything else?" She asked, wiping off her mouth. Instantly, she felt her mind spin; everything was moving and revolving around her.

"Are you okay?" Kyle was concerned as Ashlee squinched her eyes and held her head, making a whizzing sound.

"My head hurts." She replied, clutching her hair.

"How could you drink like that? Are you an idiot? It was your freaking first time. You needed to go slow." Kyle swished, going on his knees in front of Ashlee, without realizing.

"Let me see." He said, resting his hands on her knees.

"You Sick Prick!" Ashlee groaned, looking dead in his eyes.

"What?" Kyle was confused by the sudden change in her voice.

"What do you mean, What? You Jerk!" Ashlee missed the punch at him. He didn't even dodge, knowing she must be seeing many of him. He sighed, putting his head down.

"Come on. Let's get you to bed." He extended his hand towards her, standing up straight.

"What are you? My mom?" She rolled her eyes at him, throwing her back on the sofa. She stared out of the window behind, upwards and down. The rain had halted, the breeze seemed to be gentle and slithered.

"What are you doing?" Kyle was more embarrassed by her just laying with her hands up, slightly baring her waist. He tried to look away, but nothing was helping.

'I don't like her. Why does her waist or legs affect me? Must be my wolf. Cooldown, Hard guy. I can't force her.'

Kyle patted himself, holding back. He wasn't fully convinced if it was him who didn't want to hold back, or if it was his wolf.

"Let's go, there." Ashlee hurriedly straightened up and chuckled mischievously.

"Where?" Before Kyle could stop her, she ran out, jumping from the window. She was so drunk.

"She was going to be responsible for me? Seriously?" Kyle swirled his neck in annoyance and chased after her.

"Ashlee, what the hell? Come back, here!" He shouted loudly with his grave Alpha voice.

"Get up. Lay on your bed." Kyle commanded Ashlee, watching her laying on the wet grass. Cold air brushed off her reddish cheeks and drunk eyes staring at the stars.

"This feels free." Ashlee inhaled deeply, rubbing her arms on the grass.

Kyle watched her without blinking. She must know how beautiful she was under this shimmering moonlight. Her lips were swollen... or was it? She could be called the most beautiful thing alive at the moment.

Suddenly, Kyle's eyes set on the moon. His urge to transform into his real self started to overwhelm him. He was trying his hardest to hold back and take Ashlee inside.

"The best thing I could do is run into the woods, but I can't leave you alone here like this." He panted, staring at her, flinching roughly.

"Why do you keep running?" Ashlee surprised him with that question.

"What are you saying?" Kyle was confused and getting out of control.

"Why do you keep hiding?" She whispered as a drop of tear slipped down her eye.

Kyle lost control over his wolf at the exact moment. He howled loudly as his clothes tore apart. His body gained rough hairs and hard-core dark skin. He was changing, and Ashlee was watching. Finally, he could know who he was.

He completely changed into his wolf. His red eyes glowed in the slight misty glowing light. He howled, signaling his pack for backup. Ashlee laid on the ground without closing her eyelids.

Kyle tried to send her mind signals, but it was getting blocked by a grave invisible power. It was more powerful than before. His eyes softened, seeing the single tear from her eyes.

With slow and steady steps, he walked towards her. Ashlee inhaled and sat straight on the ground, waiting for him to reach her. He stopped in front of her, staring into her eyes.

'I scared her.' He was disappointed in himself. Not knowing something more astonishing was waiting for him.

Ashlee took out her hand and gently touched his face, "You are so pretty." She barely whispered, sincerely staring deep down in his red dead eyes.
