16. Frindle's fury 2

The memories of the good times were a treasure she held more dear than any treasure.

When the Grand Astral technique synchronized with Alexander it made him experience her life so that the imprinted technique could be quickly learned but sometimes there is a rebound and those memories resonate between the two causing her to relive those moments all over again.

The Great tree had no name but the Teafee Tribe did not care. She was their mother, the progenitor of the world and a god who gave them life.

The great tree was kind, compassionate , and full of love towards her kin. She watched them grow from a small tribe of 12 to a strong tribe of 37 more and more Saplings continued to find their way to her.

One day a new comer arrived and he was different than the rest. It look like it had a red cap with white circles and it was wiser than most of the members of the tribe.

It continued to ask questions that the tribe didn't know the answers to or did they care to know until one day it asked "What is the great tree's name?" "She has a name right?"

None had the answer to his weird and odd questions but Tepa the leader of the tribe was unafraid of The Great tree who was like a mother to them. What kind of child should be afraid of asking their mother questions out of curiosity. She walked towards The Great tree and placed her head upon her trunk like the many times they had before to initiate communication.

Tepa then asked "Mother, the weird one has brought up on a question?"

"Weird?" she replied then gave a small chuckle and replied "the one with the red cap and white dots?"

Yes mother. That weird one. Tepa replied slightly exasperated.

"He never stops asking questions; It's exasperating and sometimes overwhelming." Tepa complained to her mother.

"Child, do not call the members of our family weird." The Great One couldn't help but chastise Tepa.

"It will isolate them and make them feel lonely." The great tree explained with a compassionate sermon.

Tepa replied exasperated "You are wise mother but it doesn't not stop him from being weird."

"Well what is the question?" The great tree asked curiously.

"It wanted to know if you had a name" Tepa replied curiously.

"No ,I do not have a name my child. How about you give me one?" The great one responded in a matter of fact tone.

Tepa was shocked to hear that the great tree wanted her to name her.

"I cannot" she stuttered.

"I have to consult the tribe we will pick a great name for you!" Tepa replied before she ran off in haste leaving the great tree chuckling in amusement.

Tepa returned to the settlement and quickly called everyone together but the weird one wasn't found. "Red cap where are you!" she shouted very loudly.

"I'm here Tepa no need to shout". Red cap lazily responded.

He sauntered into the meeting.

The great tree has given us a task. She want us to give her a name! Tepa enthusiastically told the tribe.

Members of the tribe were shocked Leafteay panicked we have to pick a good name she stammered out. Red cap chuckled and said Why make things so complicated let's just pick a simple name. Tepa want to get furious but she agreed The great tree would probably enjoy a less complicated name she murmured. Leafteay thought about it and said let's call her mother. Tepa disagreed Mother is too simple but it should be noted that this is what she is to us.

Red cap scribbled on the ground a bunch of symbols which signified a name. They looked at the name and Berbu the being that looked more like a bush with arms and legs just made out of roots and branches exclaimed. "That's such a wonderful name." Tepa walked over and saw what red cap wrote on the ground. She smiled it's perfect and everyone agrees.

Tepa rushed back to the great tree and quickly synchronized their minds and happily explained that they had come up with. Tepa quickly broken the connection and called her name Frindle. She quickly reestablished her connection and asked her if she liked it. Of course Frindle liked her name her branches swayed happily.

Frindle was happy but she was unsatisfied she wanted to be like them so everyday she focused her qi and tried to make herself smaller. She continued to give them warmth while focusing qi and day after day she got smaller. 300 years go by and she was the size of a normal tree but she couldn't transform and this made her frustrated.

One day Red cap walked up to her and told her what she was wrong. How could she understand Red cap? He placed his fungi hand on her bark and started to communicate.

The only thing your doing is compression but you haven't found out what to do with your abundant qi.

Frindle still didn't know understand and showed her confusion to Red Cap. I guess I have to start at the beginning. Red cap stayed with Frindle for 2 weeks communicating. He took his hand off Friendle's trunk and as he walked away he said. Good luck.

Red cap is weird, very kind but weird.she thought to herself.

She though back to his teachings. It appears as if all I did was accumulate but I never really made it apart of me. This cultivate technique he passed on to me should help.

She activated her technique and her bark started to peel off. The branches became shorter became more like arms but still retained the tree like branches , her trunk became slim for feminine and her head started to look more like a humans but more onion shaped but with dirty brown hair with green tips, her roots became feet shaped but still retained her tree root origins. Her skin was tree like dark brown and still had a bark like texture but it looked human-ish. She had taken the first step into achieving a Dao body.

The memories continued to flow and she became angrier and angrier if there was a word for how angry she was it wasn't invented.

Rage flowed through her veins like blood tears flowed endlessly. She wanted the memories to stop but they continued and would continue until everything revealed it self to him.
