Alexander was a late in life child, his mother Eveline gave birth to him at 39 and his father Arthur was 44.
Growing up his childhood was very different than most children his age. His parents made sure he grew up into a responsible adult, his father taught him little things like how to change a tire, fix minor car problems, how to balance a checkbook etc, while his mother focus on more his mental well being she showed him empathy, she took him to shelters to help those who were less fortunate, she also communicated with him as a young adult and not down to him as a child.
While he was 16 his father had a heart attack working on the family car and his mother didn't recover from his death.
She struggled physically and mentally with her husbands passing , everyday was a struggle for her to get out of her bed but she tried so that her son would be fed but in vain her health failed her and she had soon passed away 6 months later. The doctors had said she was in a depression and the lack of eating and sleeping drained her health until one day she didn't wake up. Some of them said she died of a broken heart.
"Haahaahaa" Sounds of labored breathing could be heard coming out of Alexanders mouth as he Hiked upon the trails of the Grand Canyon. We're almost there he muttered to himself in between the labored breathing. Clutching his knees while taking slow and deep breaths he looked upon the beautiful back drop of Mount Huethawali. "So this is where you met mom and dad"
Alexander spoke to himself as he took a gulp out of his water bottle and ate his protein bar while looking at the reddish brown base and slight greenery that surrounded the mountain as he looked up he saw that it had a more grayish white colored top. "Let's go see the scenery mom and dad" Alexander Spoke to himself as he gathered his backpack and put his water bottle back inside his backpack followed by trash from his protein bar.
He put the backpack on wiped the sweat off his brow and put his baseball cap back on and restarted his journey to a spot where he could over see the area below.

His lungs feeling like they're on fire as he reached his destination,Taking deep long breaths as he rested on a peak slowly recovering from his fatigue.
Alexander finally recovering from his fatigue looked at the scene before him clear skies, copper colored earth, green shrubbery It calmed him down in a way that being at home never could it was truly relaxing and awe-inspiring .
He placed his backpack down took out a small gardening shovel and started to dig a hole that was about 3 feet deep and maybe a foot wide.
He went back into his backpack and took out Two urns which housed his parents ashes, he placed them into their separate holes and tears started to drip from his eyes onto the ground.
"Mom Dad,I really miss you" Alexander spoke in a whisper as he placed the urns into the ground."
"It's been 19 years since both of you have been gone." He spoke to his parents remains.
I took after dad and I started a career with cars I became a Mechanic then I opened up my own garage and hired 2 more class mates.
It's hard work but I enjoy it. Not only do i like working on vehicles but it reminds me of all the times dad showed me how to work on our cars it's almost as if he's there while I work on them." Alexander looked up and sighed "19 years mom ,19 years from your death till now did I finally have the time to properly bring you here so that you and dad can truly rest in a place where you enjoyed being."
While looking up he saw many different birds but a black Raven or Crow. He could never tell the difference but it grabbed his attention anyway. He took out a protein bar and broke off in pieces and tossed it away from him to feed the birds." Look at the birds mom n dad look at how free they are look at how they fly look at how they never have to worry about bills, politics and any of that other crap. I sometimes wish I could just be free like the birds flying about looking at scenery and enjoying life.
I know that a birds life isn't easy like hunting for food everyday finding shelter from the elements but look at them they don't seem upset they don't seem sad, they seem content!" He sighed to himself.
Alexander looked at the hole with his parents urns inside them and started to cover up the hole with dirt. He took his shovel placed it in his backpack he then placed it on the ground to use as a pillow while he gazed at the sky.
He closed his eyes and imagined what life would be like as a bird.
He slowly drifted away into sleep and dreamed of flying in the sky like a mighty eagle.
