Day 1
Duchess Tẽra Trazzie was a beautiful twenty-year-old, curly red hair with green- green eyes. She was leaving the royal parade. Her part was done.
After her father died four years ago, she was expected to find a royal husband and produce an heir.
She hid from this by training her horse Sherralee and taking up polo as a sport.
Tẽra’s mother Tazzmin did her best not to rock the royal boat once her husband Eugene died. Tazzmin was not royally born, and she was very close to Tẽra. The Royals did not like her and were looking for any excuse to strip her of her title and land.
Eugene was the 1st Duke and had a very high place in the royal council.
Tẽra Trazzie was wearing a long royal gown made of brown, purple and gold trims with a blue ribbon across her chest with the words ‘1st Duchess’ on them. She was wearing black stockings and closed brown boots with a gold embroidery pattern on them they come up to just below her knee. She had purple gloves that come up her arms and rings on six of her fingers. A diamond and topaz earrings and necklace set, and an old fashioned but modernized corset.
She was sitting side saddle.
Sherralee, Tẽra’s horse was also dressed for the occasion, wearing an embroidered brown saddle with a blue and gold edged sheet underneath and head gear with feathers, crystals studded along the reigns and bridle. Her horse’s tail and mane were left un-braided; the boots were blue with gold straps.
While riding home she noticed her diamond ring glow for just a second.
Suddenly she was in a field and it was deathly quiet.
“Hello!?!” She called but silence was the reply she got.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
“Let’s move” she said to Sherralee.
Nicolette Sintonarta was a twenty-two-year-old Icelandic girl whose best friend was an Inuit girl named Valletta.
Nicolette had long blond hair and grey eyes. She had red, blue, purple, pink and black in her hair but she was also able to hide the colour when she did it up. She usually wore it down.
She was always ready for adventure and was the manager of an adventure camp. She did hiking, abseiling, canoeing, rock climbing, ski racing, snow board racing, sled racing, ice fishing, hunting, archery contests, survival training, parasailing and ski diving.
Her parents were away as usual and Katie her nanny and care taker was trying to get her to stop riding her skateboard down the staircase railing to no avail.
“Miss Nikki,” she pleaded
“Someone will get hurt.”
“It’s only us, who will get hurt?” Nicolette said picking up her skateboard and rubbing Katie’s shoulder.
Nikki was wearing khaki camo pants with takkies, fluffy socks, a black long sleeve vest, black long-sleeved top with silver streaks down the arms and silver eyes on the black and a long black scarf around her neck. Her hair was done up so only blond could be seen. Nicolette had three sets of earrings her favorite was her blue crosses which started to glow.
“Miss Nikki,” Katie said reaching for her arm, and then the light was gone.
Miss Nikki was gone.
This was going to be the adventure of a lifetime.
Nikki was standing by a river but she didn’t know this part of the river, something wasn’t right.
Tẽra Trazzie slowly walked through the forest until she found water. Sherralee was delighted, both drank and drank. Then someone said
“Hi.” in English.
Tẽra turned around and said,
“I am so happy to see you. Do you know where I am?”
“Well, no I don’t” said Nikki, “I am Nikki.”
“I am Tẽra Trazzie,” the duchess said extending her hand.
“Forgive me” Tẽra said
“I am Duchess Tẽra Trazzie, and I am lost.”
“Well” Nikki said
“So am I. I have a horrible felling I am no longer in my kingdom,” Tẽra said.
“No Duchess, I think you are right.” Nikki said
Nikki was made for the wild, Tẽra was NOT. Nikki could see Tẽra would not survive alone. Usually, the people she led through the jungle wanted to be there and were willing to go without stuff but she had never been lost herself or had to lead someone, a duchess to an unknown safe place.
“Will you help me collect wood for a fire?” Nikki asked “Collect for me all the small twigs you can find.”
“Sure” Tẽra said willing to help.
Tẽra had never picked up sticks before.
Nikki looked at Sherralee’s stuff,
“May we use your horse’s things to help make a shelter?” Nikki asked.
“I don’t know how but yes.” Tẽra said, very glad she could contribute.
Nikki carved bowls out of branches, she sharped stones against each other making a knife. She made sharp sticks for catching fish. Nikki started a fire. Caught some fish and really hoped that the colorful fish weren’t poisonous.
She made a shelter, using Sherralee’s blankets as a ground sheet. Evening was approaching and the forest seemed to come to life with strange sounds that sounded really close.
