You push the button.
Ding.
The room is immediately filled with fog.
Your face still hurts like hell.
----------------------------------------
It’s pretty thick fog.

Wait, no, there isn’t a pony in there.

...You’re in a concrete box, not a forest.

No, no cars!

There are still cars in that one.
Aren’t there any pictures of solid fog on the internet???

That is clearly smoke.
You know what?
Here.

There. That’s what you see. Just sliiiiiiightly less opaque. And, y'no, grading, from the light up above you. Slightly granulated, too, probably.
It smells like a cold spring morning, and feels like winter is giving you a hug. The cold makes your face feel better, somehow.
That’s nice.
You turn slowly, trying to see if there’s anything in the fog with you. There doesn’t appear to be, but then you can’t exactly see the walls.
Oh! Maybe the tarantula is back! You should wander around, find out!
----------------------------------------
You walk around the perimeter of the room, trying to see if you’re alone. As soon as you decide you are, you hear a Tik.
In the fog, the sound seems to come from everywhere at once.
Tik.
It’s not an incredibly loud sound, but it is deff originating from somewhere in the room.
You walk around the perimeter again, listening for the tick.
----------------------------------------
Tik.
----------------------------------------
It seems to be coming from the center of the room.
You walk away from the wall, stepping slowly into the center.
Tik.
You get to where you can see the button again.
Tik.
You look up.
The fog is condensing on the light. It turns into droplets, which run to the middle of the bulb, right above the button.
Then they drip off.
Tik.
----------------------------------------
The sound is the water drop hitting the top of the button.
You hold your hand out, catching a few drops, and the noise stops.
After a few moments you wonder how waterproof the button is.
You might want to check on that, make sure it still works.
DO YOU PUSH THE BUTTON? Yes No
