General POV
After his heart-to-heart with his mom, Trey decided to spend the rest of the day with his family. His family took the day to relax. Tyson decided to take them to a theme park just outside of town. They had wanted to go for a while, but everyone was always busy. After learning how his son was feeling from his wife, he was determined to cheer him up. Kyla wasn’t informed at all about her brother’s feelings. Oblivious to the situation, she was excited to get on all of the rides.
Trey used all his skills to earn as many prizes as possible for Kyla. Before the day was over, he had two prizes from every game. Alexandra gave him an intervention about spoiling her earlier. Trey only agreed if today was excluded. He’d shower his lovely sister with gifts before the new restrictions kicked in.
‘Man, it's going to hurt seeing her cry later. At least these will hold her over for a few months. I pushed it off as much I could.’ Trey thought as they checked out at the gift shop. His dad had his sleeping sister on his back. She exhausted herself, shouting with joy every time he won something for her.
“You tricked me when you asked for today to be excluded,” Alexandra said, looking at two carts full of toys.
“I didn’t even know we were coming here today. Don’t get mad at me for using opportunities when they present themselves.” Trey shrugged.
“Alex let him spoil her one last time. You can’t get too mad at him when he gets that from you.” Tyson said, winking at his boy. His wife did her patented fake sigh.
“All right, fine, but both of you remember one gift per month. I’ll lock the gun range for a year if you break the rules!”. Alexandra threaten. She then took Kyla from her husband and walked back to the car.
“Hey, dad, how come she never said anything about her and auntie spoiling Kyla?” Trey questioned. Tyson laughed so hard he nearly fell on the floor.
“You don’t get, son? She’s doing this so they can still spoil her without a guilty conscience. This was never really about us spoiling her. We all could do less, but your mother knows she can’t help herself. We’ve been sacrificed for the greater good. At least now Kyla won’t develop main character syndrome now.” Tyson concluded. He put his son on his shoulder and walked to the car with the gifts.
Around the same time, Desmond (Trey’s clone) started going through the new powers he could buy. This time he’d had help from two powerful A.I.s. Trey had broken through when the new Intersect 3.0 was completed. The Intersect was equipped with a Neurotransmitter, blanked out so he could upload it with new data from this universe. He would hold off on uploading till he got his new powers. He finally had the final pieces to the puzzle to connect him to his A.I. companions. Once he finished his preparations, he called out to the system.

“Holy shit!” Desmond screamed. He knew the chances of something spawning would go up at each new tier, but not this fast. After taking a few moments to calm down, Desmond called out to Jarvis. He immediately had him calculate what it would take to stop this from happening again.
“Sir will need to use 150% of points spent for nothing to spawn. Based on calculations, this will be okay until Planetary Tier. Also, the extra points spent because of the penalty factor into the calculation. Based on your memories, complex worlds like Marvel will likely increase spawn chances. Buying powers separately within your current tier should help.” Jarvis concluded. Desmond breathed a sigh of relief.
“Okay, it's not as bad as I thought it was. Thank Beyond, nothing serious spawned in from Marvel or Jimmy Neutron. Or Heroes, now that I think about it, Skylar could be terrifying in this universe.” Desmond shuddered. He’ll have to be even more careful with his wording using the system. Today was a wake-up call.
“I should be fine getting to Planetary tier with my current powers. I’ll limit going above my tier for now. I’ll use the points on some summons I’ve been thinking about instead.” Desmond said. He put this incident in the back of his mind. For now, he’d focus on his new powers.
Technopathy, Cyber Mind, and Activation and Deactivation completed his technology power set. If someone like Brainiac tried to hack him now, they’d get destroyed. You aren’t getting past a master of technology with a supercomputer brain, two of the world’s greatest A.I.s, and a user of Technopathy. On top of that, if for any reason all of that fails, he can remotely deactivate the technology. The only Brainiac he’d have any worries about was the fusion with Baldy. That event is way off into the future.
The rest of the powers would be for future uses. He didn’t have any time to train them at the moment. The equipment is what really stood out for this purchase. Touya's Smartphone gave him access to the internet of his old world. He would never run out of new content. It also let him fill that One Piece itch he’s had the last five years. The man was dying to find out what happened after the Wano arc.
He was most happy finally finding an infinite money glitch in the system. iFruit phone let him buy things just like in the GTA V game. The items would spawn at a property he owned. The one downside being he had to purchase items with real-world money. Hypercube gave him his own personal storage. The cube could contain large amounts of objects and people. Duplicator was a camera that could create a copy of something. These items working in tandem would give him an infinite supply of money.
All Desmond needed to do was buy a couple of cars with the iFruit phone. He would then duplicate them, move them with the cube, and sell them for profit. It gets even better with the Microbots and Friday. With everything at his disposal, Desmond could fully automate the car industry. He’ll do the same for anything else he could buy with the phone. When he turns 18, he’ll be the wealthiest man in the world. He could legally make himself and all his clones billionaires for fun.
Lastly, the Javelins were a safety precaution. If Darkseid invades full force, he’ll need an army to fight off the parademons. He’d use the duplicator to make five of each type. He would've made more if there wasn’t a tier restriction. It was the best he could do for now.
