General POV
CRASH!
“Bats, you gotta let us fight without your stupid rules.” Trey complained getting up. Trey & Desmond were currently in middle of Batman’s so-called training. Objectively they were getting their asses kicked by Superman. Desmond heard a cold no from the intercom as Trey rejoined the fight.
‘Look, we’ve tried Nen, Chakra, Haki, Biotics, and The Force. Nothing has worked. With all the restrictions Bat’s set we’re out of almost all are options.’ Desmond told him telepathically.
‘F it, let’s try that move! If that doesn’t work on him there’s nothing we can do to him without magic or telepathy.’ Trey replied back as he jumped on Desmond’s back.
“What are you two doing?” Superman said confused at the pair’s actions. They smiled in response to his question. Just as they were about to unleash their move the alarm went off ending the session in the OSASIS(Virtual Reality).
“We would have won.” Trey said.
“Your record is still 2-50 against me son. I’d doubt a technique that requires you be on his back would’ve worked.” Superman said with a chuckle. Desmond sighed, knowing he was probably right.
Trey awkwardly got off Desmond’s back before flying over to Batman.
“What’s the situation?” Trey asked hoping there was something or someone he could take his frustration out on.
“Your new cousin Kara decided to become a superhero.” Batman showing a live feed of her fighting Intergang in a Metropolis parking garage.
“Why couldn’t she just listen and stay out of trouble?” Superman groaned before flying off to Metropolis.
“Hey wait for me Metropolis is my turf too,” Desmond said as he put on his Creed Costume. Trey also decided he was leaving.
“Not going to join them,” Batman asked.
“Naw if I let out my anger on those teenage thugs I’ll scar them for life. I’ll play the new GTA that came out and let off some steam.” Trey said leaving the Bat Cave.
Elsewhere in Metropolis, Kara was having the time of her life beating up Intergang. She finally got a chance to use her powers instead of being cooped up on the Kent farm.
POW POW POW!
Her fists rain down on the delinquents knocking them back out of the parking garage into the street. She had a giddy smile as she stood over them.
“Had enough?” SuperGirl said with a smirk. Before the thugs could respond a towering figure landed behind her making them quake in fear.
“Having fun?” Superman asked.
“Cla… I mean, Superman how are you? I’m just protecting the city in your absence as you asked me to. Now that your back, I’ll be on my way.” Supergirl said trying to fly away. She barely got three feet in the air before Superman grabbed her cape. Bringing her back down. He made her wait to the side as he talked with the authorities that had arrived. Not long after Creed showed up.

“I see you put her in time out.” Creed said looking a Kara sulking not far away.
“She’s lucky that’s the only thing I did. What she did was reckless. She’s been here only two months and can barely control her powers. You know I have enemies, what if she had gotten hurt?” Superman said with a sigh. Creed waited for him to calm down before responding.
“Look I’m not trying to say what she did was right but think of it from her side. To her, Krypton was destroyed a couple of months ago. You’ve had time to grieve. She’s instead on top of her loss, was thrust into a new world with new powers. Our technology compared to her home world is like one of us being thrown back into the stone ages. The one person she has ties with she’s barely seen because he’s working all time. I’m sure she put on that costume to feel closer to the only family member she has left. Trying to understand why you do what you do.” Creed explained. Superman took a minute to think over what he said.
“When put that way, maybe I have been too hard on her. I’ll try to be more considerate to her situation. I worry about her. She’s the only family I have left. Anyway, thanks I needed to see her from her perspective.” Superman thanked.
“Hey, what are friends for. I’m sure the little minx means well. Though you should probably tell her, it's rude to eavesdrop on people’s conversations.” Creed said as he turned to look at SuperGirl. The girl in question was blushing in embarrassment. Superman shook his head at her antics. When he was about to say something, a white light popped up behind her.
BOOM!
“KARA!” Superman screamed rushing over to her. Supergirl was clutching her neck as some strange black rope had her. Before Superman could reach her a familiar pair of red laser blasts hit him tossing him to the side. Just Creed was about to reach her, when something else flew out. Creed dodged, continuing to the Boom Tube. Sadly he was second too late as the Boom Tube closed taking Supergirl away.
“Who took her!” Superman growled coming back to his senses.
“Darkseid.” Creed said picking up a piece of Apokolips tech that was thrown earlier. Suddenly a hologram of the man himself appeared.
“Correct. It would seem I was right in offering you place among my honor guard. You're smarter than most on this backwater planet. Hello, Kal-el. It's been a while since we last met.” Darkseid said calmly.
“Bring back Kara right now or so help me God I’ll take down you and all of Apokolips!” Superman demanded.
“As I recall, Kal-el you’ve yet to beat me once. As for Kara, no she has a new glorious purpose at my side. She will be captain of my Furies. Her name will spread throughout the universe. Warriors will flee in her presence, she will bring armies brought to their knees, and worlds shall crumble at the mention of her name. All in the name of Darkseid.” Darkseid said with conviction.
“That’ll never happen. I’ll make sure of it.” Superman fired back.
“Will you now? How will you do that when have to protect the earth? Currently, a stray comet is hurtling at Earth at top speed. Should it make an impact, your entire pathetic planet will be devasted, at the very least. It also perfectly bypasses the treaty made with New Genesis because it’s a natural disaster I can’t be held responsible for. Even if you do save your planet without a Boom Tube, it will take you weeks to reach Apokolips. By then, the girl will be mine. I told you once before I’d take everything you love before granting you death as mercy. This is only the start.” Darkseid smirked, ending the call.
BOOM!
Superman punched the floor in anger causing a mini earthquake. Creed put a hand his shoulder to calm him down.
“What are we gonna do?” Superman asked frustrated at the situation. Instead of responding Creed tapped his ear.
“You got all that Bats,” Creed asked.
“Copy. Meet me back at the cave. I’ll formulate a plan to recuse Kara and deal with the comet.”
“What’s going on?” Superman asked confused on how they were gonna get Kara.
“Supes, did you forget one of my powers is Technopathy? Because that idiot wanted to gloat, I now have a way to track his coordinates. We still have a couple of Boom Tubes from the last invasion. I’ll give you the opportunity to kick his ass and save Kara.” Creed said. Superman had a sigh of relief as they both raced back to Gotham.
