General POV
Walking into the Library of Alexandria, Desmond yawned, thinking over recent events. He had summoned some of his fellow assassin brethren last week. Unlike the business team, everyone was from different time periods. He had to use his powers to get them up to speed for the times & the current universe. Desmond gave them five days to get acclimated & decide on his proposal.
“ So, my brothers & sisters, have you decided?” Desmond asked, approaching the tables where they were sitting.
“I thought I lost Khemu to the Duat & Aya to the hidden ones. You, my brother, have brought both back to me. On my honor as Medjay, my blade is yours to command.” Bayek said, holding Aya’s hand. She smiled in agreeance as well to join Desmond. They, along with the others, were grateful to have their loved ones back. Ezio was the next to speak.
“You’re a Desmond. Who isn’t the Desmond I tried to understand. Nevertheless, you’re the one who has brought back all of mi familia. I now sit amongst my protégé, legends of our order, and the great Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. All possible thanks to you. It would be an honor to work with you, Fratello Mio.” Ezio said, grinning at Desmond. He then looked at his protégé.
“I will follow you, mentor. I wish to learn about this new world.” Shao Jun replied to him. She then turned to her new friend.
“New world still the same blokes hurting the innocent. I stand against anyone who would take freedoms away from the people. It’s what grandfather would’ve done.” Lydia exclaimed, joining his cause. Desmond looked toward the final member at the table.
“I gave my life to the order. Maria buried our child because of this work. Constantly on the run, always working tirelessly. I’m sorry, but I can’t do this again to her. I would love to help, but I just can’t. If we both must return from whence we came, so be it.” Altair somberly said. Desmond looked hard at him before responding.
“Altair Ibn-La'Ahad, I name you Mentor of my new order. Guardian of the order & its secrets. I task you with three things help recreate the order in this new world, maintain peace on this island, and enjoy life with your wife.” Desmond said, smiling. Altair was stunned at his generosity. The assassin could do minimal work helping the world while still living happily with his wife. He bowed his head with gratitude toward his new brother. Desmond looked around the table, happy at all of his new additions. He stood up, finishing out the meeting.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
“Nothing is true….” Desmond started. The rest stood hearing the famous words.
“Everything is permitted.” Everyone else responded in unison. The Brotherhood had been reborn.

Up in the mountains of the Himalayas, an older middle eastern man was going over some documents. He took a small swig from his pipe, smoking out his frustration. Over the last week, all of his assassins in Gotham & Metropolis had disappeared. The Demon was irritated, knowing someone was messing with him. He leaned back at his desk, thinking over all the information he had gathered.
‘This all began when we sent the hit for that Fowl boy. Someone must be protecting him, trying to send me a message, but who? There aren’t many who would openly challenge the League.’ Ra's al Ghul thought to himself.
Whoosh.
Seven men were dropped on the table in front of him. Ra’s immediately took out his sword, getting into a fighting stance. He waited patiently for someone to strike. After ten minutes, nothing came. He relaxed his guard slightly. He then looked at the men who had teleported into his room. One of them had a small device attached to his chest. Tapping it with his sword for precaution, it activated.
A woman dressed in all-black tactical gear(Abstergo Armor) appeared on a hologram. “I am Syn of the Brotherhood. As a courtesy for members of a similar trade, our leader has given you back your men unharmed. The other two men who hired your services are dead from heart attacks—the poor souls. Mr. al Gul, please note that this will be your first & last warning to abandon any thoughts on killing people who do good for the world. You can kill bad people as much as you like without our interference. Failure to comply will have us taking a visit to see Nyssa, Talia, & Damian. Good day to you & the League.” The message ends.
Ra’s broke into a cold sweat. No one knew about Damian except for him, Sensei, and Talia. Neither of them would ever betray him, so he knew there was no leak. These people were more troublesome than he thought they’d be.
‘I may have to reconsider Lex & Vandal’s offer. An organization escaping all of our eyes warrants some attention. As for their threat, they can talk all they want. No one has messed with an al Ghul & lived to tell the tale.’ He sinisterly thought, calling his guards to clean up the room.
