“Hey Jie Jie, wake up!” Mei pushed against Jin-Jie’s shoulder.

Ugh. Where am I? Jin-Jie’s brain was tearing itself apart, as he looked around.

“It seems we have been kidnapped.” Mei calmly said. Jin-Jie sat up and tried to move his arms until he realized his wrists were bound behind his back. The smell of the room was rancid, old tuna, and rotten milk plagued the room. Inside were boxes of trash.

“Do you know where we are?” Jin-Jie sat up against a wall.

“No clue, but you shouldn’t worry. Lian gave me a transmitter if these things happen. He should be here any minute. I have him wrapped around my little finger.” Mei struggled to get into a comfortable position.

“But he is taking long, I’ll threaten to break up with him, and watch him beg.” Mei giggled to herself. Not seeming to take the situation seriously.

Dazed Jin-Jie looked at Mei. Is this the type of relationship they have? Mei doesn’t seem to like Yueng Liang at all! Jin-Jie’s interest was peaked.

“Hey Mei you’re secretly dating Lian right?”

“Oh, is that what he told you? Well … Its true. But I only said yes after months of him pursuing me.” Mei finally leaned on Jin-Jie.

“Oh really tell me the details!” Jin-Jie was genuinely interested to the point he forgot a cute girl was leaning on him.

“Hmmmmm, well it’ll come out sooner or later when I transfer out of the Huang Corporation. Or at least it will be as the rumors say. I’m using Lian.” Mei bluntly said it.

“We have a deal, its not like he doesn’t know.”

“A deal?”

“Yes, I agreed to go out with him until I can transfer out. I get a nice recommendation, and a solo career while he gets a ‘chance’.”

Shocked, Jin-Jie asked “ Wait and he’s okay with it!” Jin-Jie’s mind was completely baffled by this gossip. The Yueng-Liang he knew wouldn’t fall this hard for a girl, he was natural born player.

“Hello girls” A bigger man opened the door and approached.

“Oh hey Ralphy, you think you can move us to a different room. Kinda smells in here.”

“What did you call me!” The bigger man pounded his fist against the wall , shaking all the boxes in the room. Mei leaned her back up against Jin-Jie facing the man. She had clearly been in this situation before, and named all her capturers Ralphy.

“Yes, your reeealy intimidating Ralphy, but you ruined my outing here with Jie Jie. I request you let us go, you already have 1 guaranteed broken bone by taking us here. I’m just saying this for you, you better let us go.” Mei smugly smirked upward towards the man.

The man raised his hand to strike Mei, and Mei just smugly smirked at him.

“Ahh! I cant hit you, cause I know the value of you as a whole, but who do we have here.”

Mei’s face instantly changed to full alert. “Hey don’t touch her, you want me right, there’s no use in harming her.” Jin-Jie squirmed a little at the man’s touch. As his gross fingers brushed against his cheek.

Jin-Jie quivered at the mans caress motion on his face. Gross. Jin-Jie sent a vicious glare at the man.

“Oh this one has flare.”

“I recognize you, apparently your President Yu’s girl right now? Your all over the news.”

“What happened to you Mei, was he cheating on you?”

Mei pondered the thought. How did he know about us? We were pretty covert. “What! me going out with President Yu? You believe those rumors don’t you? He turned me down immediately.” Mei lied through her teeth.

“Well, that doesn't matter we have two high profile pieces.” Ralphy said with the utmost confidence.

Jin-Jie was still boiling over in rage, at how the man touched him. He wanted to ravage this man’s face, the only thing stopping him was Mei whispering not to.

“Don’t worry you won’t be here long, our buyer has wanted you especially Mei for a long time. I'm sure our buyer will be pleased with a bonus as well.” Ralphy eyed Jin-Jie again. Jin-Jie shivered again.

“Oh I’m not concerned about being here long.” Mei cursed Lian for taking his sweet time.

“Our buyer did say not to touch you Mei, so your safe. But we didn't expect to catch you, An-Jie right?” Ralphy’s hand inched closer to Jin-Jie’s face.

“Hey, don’t touch.” Mei scooted in between.

“Oh.” Ralphy stared at the unexpected gesture of pop idol Mei. He always thought Mei was the type to do anything to further her career, which she was. However Mei felt guilty that Jin-Jie was caught because of her. She knew Lian was coming, but she would not let a person she invited out be harmed.

The air was tense with both Mei and Jin-Jie both glaring intensely. Even though Mei was giving him death stares, she wasn’t going to do anything regardless. She didn’t know how to fight, or defend herself she always relied on others for it.

“You both seem a little tense, unfortunately for you Mei I can’t relieve you, but you An-Jie, I have no orders telling me not to.” Ralphy’s greasy hands snuck past Mei and knocked her to her side, as they once again caressed Jin-Jie’s face. Ralphy wiped some hairs out of the way to see Jin-Jie’s beautiful deadly eyes staring into his.

“Wow, your really cute, even when you want to kill me. That just makes me more excited.” Ralphy’s hand went to grab Jin-Jie.

“Suppress your desires!” Jin-Jie rocketed his head up and knocked the all the sense out of him.

With a thud the gigantic oath fell backwards A blanket a blood leaking from his head.

“Did I smack him too hard.” Jin-Jie mumbled, seemingly forgetting why he was angry in the first place.

“Are you alright?” Jin-Jie immediately wobbled over to Mei.

“Yea Yea, but you go girl!”

“Hey! How come your lying on the ground tough guy! What happen! Poor Baby!” Mei spat in his direction.

“Ah!!!” Screams of terror were heard beyond the door.

Finally that lazy sack of potatoes is here. Mei thought.

With the whoosh of the door, Lian entered as if it was natural. His arms were open ready for a hug.

“You actually expect me to leap into those filthy pieces of meat.” Mei snarked at Lian.

“Is that any way to treat your savior? Oh, Miss An your here as well.” Lian gave a passing glance at Jin-Jie. As he and his men untied both Mei and Jin-Jie.

“Looks like the rumors about us are still floating around.” Mei told Lian. Lian gritted his teeth.

“I’m thinking we can cut it off for real. You can just give me that nice recommendation, and we can leave it at that.” Mei started to stretch, and brush off the dirt as if nothing happened.

Lian instantly grabbed Mei’s wrist and pulled her in. “Your not going to short change my shot are you?” Lian’s eyes flirtatiously looked down into Mei’s.

Mei pulled away. “Of course I wouldn’t break a deal, I have more integrity then that. I just think your plan came too late.”

Not much happened after that. Jin-Jie sat smiling in his room, as he recalled what Lian said. “Sorry you were put in the situation because of Mei, I’ll send compensation later today.” Jin-Jie unrolled all the fat stacks he received on his bed, and stated counting. Lian took Mei to talk somewhere else while he was ushered a ride home. Jin-Jie was very curious of what they were discussing but was having fun counting his fat stacks!

Meanwhile Syaoran was pacing around outside Jin-Jie’s room. His anxiety was killing him. Was Jin-Jie really going out with him! Of all people! Syaoran was pulling his mind apart thinking about it. He said before that he would patiently wait for Jie-Jie to talk to him about it. But that task proved difficult for Syaoran.

The door opened slowly with many creaks escaping the door’s wood.

“Hey Jie Jie can I ask you about something?”
