Jin-Jie washed up and wore a nice comfortable sweats and baggy sweater. Even thought Jin-Jie was growing to like skirts more, nothing could beat the supreme comfort of sweatpants.
♪Ring♪
“Hello” Jin-Jie picked up her phone.
“Sister An!” Caihong shouted on the other end of the line.
Sister An? Jin-Jie questioned why Syaoran’s little sister called her that. But before she had a chance to ask, Caihong yelled “Hey I heard your going with bro to a movie, let me see what your wearing!” A face time notification immediately popped up.
“Does it matter?” Jin-Jie accepted the face time chat.
“Of course it does!” Caihong insisted.
“Why I like my cloths right now.” Jin-Jie hugged herself. Jin-Jie felt comfy, she was just going out with Syaoran. What was the point of dressing up?
“You have to! I’ll compromise! Go wear those nice aqua skinny jeans, and that white flannel. O! Get that short jacket as well!”Caihong started pointing at the closet. Jin-Jie didn't have to listen to Caihong but didn’t mind it. Jin-Jie didn't have much of a fashion sense, and was a little curious.
“Apply a light foundation as well, and curl your hair. You remember right?” Caihong said.
“Yeah.” Jin-Jie slipped on the short jacket and headed towards the bathroom.
“Anything else Caihong?”
“Nahh, you should be fine Syaoran doesn't like heavy make up.”
Syaoran? Jin-Jie questioned. Throughout this whole time Jin-Jie was just enjoying dressing herself up. She wasn't doing this for him.
*Knock* “Jie-Jie are you ready to go.”
“Ah!” Caihong hung up as Syaoran walked in.
!!! Syaoran stood mesmerized a little by how good Jin-Jie looked.
“Yeah lets go.” Jin-Jie walked past Syaoran, leaving him to gather his thoughts.
Syaoran led the way as Jin-Jie followed behind, gathering many gazes along the way.
“Here we are.” Syaoran guided Jin-Jie inside the theater.
“Oh its a dinning theater!” Jin-Jie was shocked.
“We can still go eat somewhere else after if you-”
“No! Lets eat here! Its my first time doing this!” Jin-Jie’s bubbly happiness warmed Syaorans’s heart. Jin-Jie walked into the theater, and realized it was very small.
“Oh wow, only about 20 seats. This is interesting.” Jin-Jie sat down and started scanning the menu. Little did Jin-Jie know no one else would be coming.
“Oh that looks good!” Jin-Jie admired the hamburger steak. Syaoran ordered the same.
“Aren't we kids ha!” Jin-Jie smiled at Syaoran.
“Oh its starting, lets watch!” Jin-Jie’s fake enthusiasm appeared.
Even though Jin-Jie just watched this movie, she found herself enjoying it all over again. And every so often Syaoran would catch a glimpse of Jin-Jie’s genuine excitement. Syaoran extended his arm so that it was hovering above Jin-Jie. He really wanted to pull her close, but was unsure if Jin-Jie would be ok with it. He never even dreamed about doing this when Jin-Jie was a man, but now at this very moment it was all Syaoran could think about.

“Did you see that twist coming!” Jin-Jie turned towards Syaoran who immediately zipped his arm back. “Of course I saw it all along!” Jin-Jie sniffled her nose a little.
Cute. Syaoran stared at Jin-Jie’s small nose. Cute
“I guess your still trying to piece it together, I’ll tell you after if you don't get it!” Jin-Jie turned back to the screen. Despite having already seen the movie Jin-Jie found herself worried for nothing, as she throughly invested herself into the plot again.
*Food* a small light on Jin-Jie’s seat illuminated. Jin-Jie turned to her left.
Oh! When did that get there! Jin-Jie swiveled the table in front of her seat and started eating.
The movie concluded without any complications, with Syaoran to shy to bring Jin-Jie close.
“Yay! Eh? How come nobody’s here?” Jin-Jie questioned as she looked around the empty seats of the small theater. Syaoran calmly stood up, hiding the fact that he reserved the theater.
“Shall we get some dessert?” Syaoran held out his hand, hoping to at least hold hands.
“Is that a question, of course!” Jin-Jie high-fived Syaoran’s hand and led the way out of the theater.
… What? Syaoran stared at his hand.
“Come on the ice cream stores will close!” Jin-Jie ran back and grabbed Syaorans hand. “Geez staying around here. We can’t be rude to the other patrons!”
Syaoran’s felt a lot of warmth emanating from Jin-Jie’s hand, as he squeezed his around it.
“Were here! I like this place a lot!” Jin-Jie pointed at a small French place.
“Couples get half off our deluxe menu” A waitress advertised.
“Were a couple!” Jin-Jie raised their interlocked hands. Syaoran blushed caught off guard by Jin-Jie’s remarks.
“Sorry this is just to get the deal.” Jin-Jie whispered into Syaoran’s ear.
“What is this?!” Jin-Jie bought her hand up to her mouth, to see… “This is our couple’s booths!” The waitress pointed to a small snugly circular couch with a small round table. Jin-Jie felt terrible about causing this, as she though Syaoran would be displeased. But to her surprise. Syaoran guided Jin-Jie down as they sat hip to hip.
“Thanks” Jin-Jie whispered to Syaoran, as she weakly smiled. Syaoran took complete advantage of the situation by finding an excuse to pull Jin-Jie even closer.
“Hey what are you doing.” Jin-Jie started to peel Syaoran’s arm off, when Syaoran tightened his arm around her. “We should pretend were a couple right?” Syaoran smiled at a reluctant Jin-Jie.
Is this payback? Is he trying to embarrass me! Jin-Jie thought as he thought he could do better.
“Hm” Jin-Jie snuggled up against Syaoran. Her body completely pressed, and her delicate head leaning on his shoulder.
“How’s this.” Jin-Jie did his best to give off a seductive smile, but ended up a little goofy.
At first Syaoran felt a little embarrassed, but once he saw Jin-Jie’s goofy face, he laughed.
“What’s so funny!” Jin-Jie pushed away. “Ugh, you win”
*Ring* “Lian?” Jin-Jie picked up her phone.
“It’s work right? Can’t you talk to him tomorrow.” Syaoran gave a sincere look. Jin-Jie was touched. Her best friend wanted to spend more time together. But she would have plenty of time to hang with Syaoran anytime. Any info she could get on Lian was worth it.
“Hello” Jin-Jie answered.
…
“Hello” Jin-Jie concentrated on the silence. Right when Jin-Jie was about to hang up.
“Ms.An …”
“Yes reporting!” Jin-Jie said triumphantly.
“Can you come by the office …” Lian’s voice trailed off into sadness.
Was something wrong? Jin-Jie thought.
*clank* a bottle smashed against the floor.
